Hi! Your bun looks exactly like my bun Horchata when he was younger

here he is!

When he was smaller we built him a living space with storage cubes and it worked really well. You just buy a pack of cubes and some zipties off Amazon, then cut up an ikea floor mat for the ground. We just made him a house out of cardboard. Make sure there are 2 exits for the house.

Also if you have lots of space you can do an X-pen . (This is a taller foldable fence that most people are suggesting here). That is probably the most popular idea on here too as it gives them more room to run around and be active. Our guy was free roam and only really went into the cage when sleeping.

You’ll also need a litter box that they can get in and out of easy, I recommend something similar to these just line the tray with shredded compostable litter and and bunch of hay, it’s almost a requirement for them to eat hay while the go to the bathroom. If she isn’t potty trained, having the hay only in the litter box is a great way to get them started as they eat hay all day long and will tend to go where the hay is.

Hope this all helps!

Yes, you can retrain your adult dog to use indoor solutions :) I like doggy litter boxes but you can also go with a lawn style potty area. I dont really suggest pads as I find they are similar texture to carpet and that can be an issue (at least for puppies), but its up to you. These things are typically what I see locally used by seniors as nice solutions when they cannot go out as much or as fast as they would like.
