I love this light I use the warm light setting and clip it to my desk and take pictures on the floor. Best $10 (it’s $12 now) I ever spent!
I bought two of these for my home setup to start out. One would probably be enough since you're going for an extra portable setup but I went with two for better light distribution.
They're cheaper than a single ring light, have double the LED count of most small lights (48 vs 24), adjustable brightness, adjustable color temp, one single USB cord for power, and they have desk clamps so you can stick them anywhere. I use mine at about 60-70% brightness and it's enough to run my C922 @60fps, even at night.
