(Before anyone says anything about some off brand power supply, that you need one of those high quality power supplys yada yada, I have that exact power supply and it works great. I'm pretty sure they all use the exact same ac-dc converter, just different housing and cable design. Currently doing some more tests on my pi3 overclocked to 1.35ghz and stress testing it to see the temps. Just finished another test, 22x22mm heat sink + 10mm fan + arctic silver and the avg temp over 5mins was 41C and I never got the undervolt warning)
Lexar cards are garbage now. The company was dissolved and the name was sold and is now manufactured by crappy Chinese companies that care only about the name.
You want to use micro SD cards that use MLC technology. The old TLC standard does not work as well and cannot take the harsh conditions or constant overwriting of files. I recommend the Transcend High Endurance model
If you are on a tight budget you may want to consider the Transcend Premium 400X or the Samsung EVO Select
If you just buy what you need separately it will come out a bit cheaper. Except start with the base Cana-kit, because you get the power adapter plus the little heat sinks for less than buying together. My kit was only $39.99, looks like price went up $3.
Comes out to $65.50 (and less if you don't need an HDMI cable). You save $10 over the $75 kit, plus you get brand name SD card.

I am going to list parking mode cameras I would pick, but each have strengths and weaknesses.
Excellent video quality - Probably the best video quality dash cam on the market. The A119S v2 has been very disappointing, under preforming the A119 v2 in most aspects. A119 Pro is very near the A119 v2, but as of yet not out preformed the A119 v2. - Firmware updates could possibly improve video quality of A119 v2, A119S v2, and A119 Pro, but as of yet, the A119 v2 is on top.
Fair/Poor build quality - A119 v1 is the reason build quality is low. It was released, with obvious flaws, and was not addressed until the A119 v2. A119 v2 has resolved most issues.
A119 Lackluster parking mode = Automatic Engage/disengage when parked via G sensor/Motion sensor inactivity for 90 seconds, Not Buffered, Add Low voltage cut off feature via hardwire kit.
A119 cost structure 1CH = 2x to cover front back. 2x Dashcam ($80-100 USD) + 2x Micro SD card ($20-40 USD) + 2x Hardwire kit (1x cheap ($13 USD) + 1x expensive ($24 USD)) = ($157~328 USD)

If you're thinking about buying a bigger SD card, I bought this Samsung one, as it came out about $1 less than others. Apparently this counted as a camera purchase, because Amazon gave me a $20 voucher for Shutterfly:
>Your recent purchase of a digital camera qualifies you for $20 off one purchase of $20 or more on Shutterfly.com. Visit www.shutterfly.com/amazonholiday to redeem your $20 Shutterfly offer using the code above.
It depends on which Samsung ones and which Sandisk ones are you talking about.
I'm looking at the prices on Amazon, a 32 GB EVO Select from Samsung is $10, while a 32 GB Sandisk Ultra is $15, and both of them claim the same "up to 80 MB/s transfer speed", but I'm sure that's just the read speed and write speeds might be better on the Sandisk, hence why it's more expensive, but I haven't checked so I'm not sure.
I haven't heard of Samsung's Evo Select line before, judging from the price I assume it's a cheaper and worse performing line than the Evo, but you can also buy a 32 GB Samsung Evo+ for $15, so Samsung microSD's aren't more expensive.
>I have a 32 gig SD card for my 3ds, it was 20 dollars back then. Not an 8 gigabyte SD is 20 dollars.
Umm...

EDIT: Oh uh and you didn't say how much space you wanted on the external
I bought the canakit https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01C6EQNNK/
It has a case, but doesn't have an SD card. I bought this SDcard:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DOB6Y5Q/
Whatever sdcard you get you'll want a UHS-I Class 10 card. Buying an 8GB card doesn't save you that much money though. For example https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-MicroSDHC-Standard-Packaging-SDSDQUAN-008G-G4A/dp/B00M55C0VU/
In my opinion it is not worth paying more for a pre-installed sdcard because you can use WinDiskImager to copy the raspbian img file to the card very easily.
The card I got was a Samsung 32GB 80MB/s EVO Select Micro SDHC Memory Card (MB-ME32DA/AM). It lists it as a "UHS-I Speed Class 1 (U1) & Class 10". Don't know much about SD cards, is this card good enough?

This one or this one The first one should be just fine. If you have a 2ds, then an adapter is required I think.
