My current TV is a 55inch Samsung LED TV, 3-D capable. Specifically this model.
I have a sound bar although with the computer shuffling prior to the move it is currently not in use. This works since the additional space in the apartment will allow me to set up an actual speaker system (not sure if I will go just stereo or also surround sound.)
I suppose since I watch everything on that TV that would qualify it as my "favorite". This will probably also apply once I set up the 42inch LCD TV I got earlier this year as well. (I'll probably only use that to watch a couple things.)
55" Samsung LED with no bezel (here) with this home theater, and yet I live alone.

Amazing Smart TV, I was able to get it for 2k and got lucky with an amazon credit promotion of 3k limit with no interest for 2 years. I'm about halfway done with paying it off. Truly an amazing TV.
