Here are the parts I used:

  • cable raceway
  • cable clips
  • indoor mounting squares
  • velcro cable ties

    The cable raceway and the cable clips made the biggest difference. In the past I would just use the velcro strips, which would help with making the cables look more clean, but not with hiding them altogether.

    The process I used was:

  • unplug everything from your computer and lay them over your desk in straight lines so you can see all the cables you'll need to route.
  • find a good spot for the raceway leaving enough room for a power strip to sit behind it. I had to cut the raceway to fit my desk. Once it's sized correctly, stick it to the bottom of your desk.
  • Route a single wire at a time. I started with the wires coming from my monitor first since they were the furthest away from my tower. I also did the power cables last since they were the biggest and weren't being routed to the tower.
  • Once everything is routed in the raceway then start using the cable clips to make sure the cables follow the path cleanly.
  • Use the velcro strips to keep hanging wires together.

as far as sag goes, i tries to distribute weight so it wouldnt have too much stress on the middle, what i should've done is used those legs on the alex drawers and have the countertop sag a couple inches off to help center the weight a bit

Can I use any kind of double-sided tape to mount my SSD in my PC? I currently own this kind, but I don't know if this is too hardcore for putting an SSD into my pc. Does anyone have any recommendations?

The iPad is a little bit heavier than the Nintendo Switch, but I have my Switch dock inside of a wall mount stuck on with double sided tape. That stuff is surprisingly strong and I’m not worried at all about it falling off. Just a warning that it’ll rip paint right off the wall. I’m confident enough of it will support the iPad though. That's exciting! If I may make 1 suggestion: mount your sensors with tape for ~a month before using the adhesive. The reason I say this is because I changed my mind on sensor placement several times for either aesthetic or functionality reasons, and it's a pain removing the adhesive and then having to apply more. If you're like me and need more adhesive get 3M mounting tape. Super cheap (~$2.50) at Walmart. I got these

You can mount the PCB to the enclosure with double sided foam squares, also called mounting squares. You can double up the foam if you're concerned about shorting.

I have a '12 Titanium hatchback with the exact same issue and it drove me crazy for a while. I used some of these and just stuck them where I was pretty sure the rattling was coming from. It worked for a while but I think the adhesive wore off and it has picked back up lately. Its definitely annoying and disappointing though, second only to the chrome sticker peeling off of the steering wheel.

Using like 50 of the clips and a lot of the velcro and some double sided tape for heavier things like hdmi matrix and audio mixer and power strips it is all mounted on the underside of my table. It is a lot of work and there is a lot to manage but you find a way to make it work.

These usually work pretty well. They don't peel the paint or anything. I've used them in dorm rooms for pretty much everything and haven't had a problem yet. As far as the actual cork board goes, these tiles might be what you're looking for.
