I concur with your first week's findings. :-)

As for syringes... you might want to look into the SEOH Pipette pumps along with various sizes of pipettes for them. I absolutely love'em. So much easier to work with and also for the 1ml pipettes very smooth and accurate. Less hassle than syringes.

Also, I had no problem with the viscosity of VG with any size of the pipettes and the pump. Except that I had to push the top instead of using the pump release because VG just doesn't move as fast with just gravity doing its work.

You stick glass pipettes into the bottom of it and roll the wheel with your thumb to draw in liquid. I think the nicotine thins it a lot. I don't have any trouble with using a 16 gauge needle.
