Did you want coffee or espresso? On Amazon, you can get $0.35 cents of kcup coffees. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HS6FQRQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I do agree with you mostly.

However, I was surprised to learn recently that there are companies like Ekocups making recyclable kcups. Mauds and other companies are doing it too. Others like San Francisco Bay make them bottomless so they don’t produce as much waste. Companies like GoJava offer services to make recycling easier (in Canada).

I do think they should all be recyclable, but as consumers we can also do a better job. We can be less lazy and have the right information. We can make the effort to participate in recycling programs (instead of just throwing stuff away). I know a lot of people don’t even realize Nespresso pods are recyclable and they’ll take them back from you for FREE. We also have to demand more from our local governments to ensure better recycling facilities and laws.
