Congratulations. Would something like this work for #8? This is what I use on a my carbon road bike at the end of the drop. Usually they come in sets of 2 (left and right). You only need one (depending on which side of the road you are on other vs. UK). I have one mounted only on the left side (US) and it's been very helpful. This particular one can be moved as needed while you ride. It's not as good a a traditional larger round mirror, but it still gets the job done. I only started using this during this current season and love having it now.
