Did some research on approved cables, and wanted something longer than 3ft and of high quality; this is the best cable that matched the criteria. So far, so good! It's very affordable, too, at only $6.99. Comes in Black or White.

And when I plug my 5X in it says charging rapidly or whatever.
The cable was on the list of good cables in the spreadsheet at the top so I took a chance with the charger and it seems to be ok. That said I don't know how well it would work if you actually used both USBs on the charger at once.
Hmm not sure how that would help though... If the calibrator has a USB A female port, you need a USB C male to USB A male. Basically something like this. I live in the US though, so I'm not sure where else to get cables other than Amazon :P
Bought this car charger and cable
both from the Benson approved list.
The car charger has an indicator light that turns on. When I plug it into my phone, it causes buzzing through my aux to my speakers, but it doesn't charge the phone. The cable charges the phone through my PC. Any ideas before I return the car adapter?
The longest cable I could find that's verified and still 3.0 compliant. Sadly it's only 5ft
