Recipe so far:
Using thin self adhesive cork that I pulled apart while setting down on the bases. (https://www.amazon.com/Board-Dudes-Hobby-Adhesive-CYC90/dp/B0079XLR3A/)
Coat the cork with thinned PVA glue (or matte varnish).
Prime Flatt Black. I used Rustoleum Camo Black my goto cheap black for terrain.
Medium dry brushing of Dawnstone all over. Spots of Heavy dry brushing.
Light Drybrush of Longbeard Grey. Spots of medium dry brushing.
Thin coat of Nuln Oil to blend it together a bit.
Agrellan Earth in the cracks and on the edges.
Make Stencils out of thin cardboard (I used paper plates).
Using the stencils, sponge on Averland Sunset or cottage cheese ... aka Ceramite White
TBD Agrax Earthshade on the Agrellan Earth
TBD Cleanup edge with either Abaddon Black, Zandri Dust or maybe Steel Legion Drab. Haven't decided yet. Open to suggestions.
TBD Grass Tufts and Skulls.

Even if the cork is rotting, you can fix that shit for cheap.
