Remember guys, physical still exists

If you keep an eye out you can get the Legendary Edition for a lot less than $60. I got a physical copy for $27.70 on Amazon UK sent to the US. That's with shipping included and it activates on steam. As a matter of fact you can get it right now for $30 Link. Steam itself was also selling the game for $35 during the summer sale and probably will again during the winter sale.

Just saying, if you're in the UK you can get it for £15 on amazon (physical copy), which is £2.50 cheaper than steam right now. Free delivery, so yeah, if it doesn't go to/below 50% off then do that if you wanna save a little bit more.

Why are there no cheaper digital copies? If I'd known they'd be so hard to come by I'd have bought the above back when it was ~£16.

It's 15 GBP on Amazon UK's site and with shipping to the USA it's ~ 17.5 GBP (around $26.71). It activates on Steam no problem.

A better alternative to this, is to grab a physical copy of Skyrim LE from a local store that still has old copies of this in stock.

I know you asked for stuff that works for vanilla so I'll at least put in some that I know such as Moonpath to Elsweyr and MadFrenchies mods but I really would recommend getting the DLCs. On Steam they cost a whole bunch at the moment but you can find them elsewhere like on the Humble Bundle or even Amazon's disk copy.

I'm not sure where you are seeing it available on Amazon. When that claim was made (and linked to) last night, it was unavailable then and still is unavailable.
