the audio is compressed for the download. It unpacks on completion and takes several minutes to do so. The actual download is only around 20GB, but Origin (until recently) showed the final unpacked size to

  • 1:) inflate their download speeds
  • 2:) give users a better idea how much space would be taken up.

Besides, if your internet is really crap, This is also an option. But if your internet is so shit that 20GB is absolutely unbearable, why did you get a multiplayer game in the first place?

    >40GB of audio so a few really slow PCs don't stutter when loading sound is outragous, especially when you consider that if a PC can't decompress audio fairly decently, how is it meant to play Titanfall at acceptable framerates?

By not having to decompress audio while the game is running? If the PC is too slow to decompress audio while a game is not running it's obviously fucked. Besides, according to the Steam hardware survey almost half of the reporting systems are still dual core. A little more than a few, wouldn't ya say? Especially seeing how much we love to recommend the G3528 around here?

It was $10 on Amazon a few days ago... such a great buy. It is a huge download though.

It turns out it's still on sale!

I wouldn't get it at full price, it's pretty easy to find on sale.

It was $10 on Amazon not too long ago,

$17 now. But still pretty cheap.

The playerbase might be a bit low for certain game modes like capture the flag or domination, depending on what area you live in. But if you're fine with their deathmatch mode (attrition) it's generally pretty full, same with the horde mode.

Yes, Respawn confirmed that physical copies will be available at launch, and you can preorder with release day delivery from Amazon.

>What can XBox one do that PC can't

>Titanfall

What?

My Mini ITX PC is easy as hell to move around. Split screen is all but dead on consoles. I can play all the games I want on my couch with a 360 controller. Party chat exists (on all three platforms). Online play is no worse than on consoles (often better) and PCs are simple plug and play to set up. I also get mods, support and communities for games you would assume are long dead, full backwards compatibility with previous OC games, more full-featured video playback, any app I could possibly desired and actual options when purchasing games instead of being forced to use the console manufacturer's store.

Amazon has it for $37 and free shipping here.

I can't seem to find EA's physical copy location either, so I'd just go with that.
