I bought this mount during their last sale on it. Its a great mount. However if your not using matching monitors it may annoy some. For example I have about 3 inch height difference between my two monitors. You can always use two gas arms instead of a single mounting unit.

Edit: So I just discovered this: https://www.amazon.ca/VIVO-Adjustable-Accessory-Individual-Stand-VAD3/dp/B0741CFJVW. Not a great deal once you add to the cost of the mount. However I may buy one for my mount.

People don't always think about the fact that the VESA mount is in a different location on different monitors.

Your easiest/fastest solution is a VESA height adjuster: https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Adjustable-Accessory-Individual-Stand-VAD3/dp/B0741CFJVW/

It's got "notches" so it may not be mm precise, but it should get you in a much better place than you are now.

Use this $15 adapter with the cheap mount. I was able to get mine lined up right.

in regards to the wierd vesa position, i bought one of these to help with one of my monitors that was like that, it's worked out nicely. Note it won't work for portrait mode since it uses gravity to lock in the height once set.

You could get one or more vertical adjustment adapters.

Not sure if you've received the answer you're looking for yet. I would approach it with a plate of some sort. Depending on your current mount I would just make a plate with the drop you want. It will be a little flimsy so some sort of reinforcement would be required. Here is an example of an adjustable height plate for smaller screens. You could use this as an idea for making your own plate.

To have both monitors even

No real easy way of raising or lowering vesa heights. So you either buy the same monitor or build some weird mod to adjust the individual heights.

You can buy these

but if your cables are in the middle then you can't use them :(
