The problem is always going to be the amount of shit on amazon that makes it hard to find decent bikes. My previous neighbor bought one of these It spent over a year on his porch and I never saw it move. IDK why he decided he needed a folding bike in the first place, but he was convinced it was the best "do all" bike. "people race this same bike downhill" he said, because one of the reviews he read.
For all their faults, and LBS would have set that guy up with a more appropriate bike for his needs. Or at least not sold him a $40 bike for $700.
