And then this insane Intel deal.
I want to buy an SSD for my new build. How does this
SanDisk Ultra 3D NAND 1TB Internal SSD - SATA III 6 Gb/s, 2.5"/7mm, Up to 560 MB/s - SDSSDH3-1T00-G25
compare to this?
XPG SX6000 Pro 1TB PCIe 3D NAND PCIe Gen3x4 M.2 2280 NVMe 1.3 R/W up to 2100/1500MB/s SSD (ASX6000PNP-1TT-C)
Do you think that there could be better BF deals? Thank you for your answers in advance.
PS: if the Sandisk is better, I also consider getting the 2TB version of it for $180.
I have an mx500 (500gb) boot + storage drive, and a 1tb XPG nvme drive for addition storage. I was surprised that 1tb nvme drives (albeing QLC) are cheaper than 1tb sata drives. Example here is a 1tb crucial drive vs the 1 tb Nvme drive I picked up
You probably won't notice the speed difference between the two so just get the XPG since amazon doesn't charge tax for that.
Ah, interesting, thanks for the link! Sounds important for sure. What about the XPG SX6000 Pro? It's an NVME drive, but I can't quite tell if it has cache? The read/write speeds are way faster though, would that be noticeable for using the OS or for game loading?
Yeah, you don't need such an expensive drive. Have a look at this one.
Still NVMe but far more affordable at the same capacity.
Looking for an SSD. Do I get the XPG SX6000 Pro, MX500, Intel SSD 660p, or Sabrent?
There are so many good options right now.
