Just try it. It doesn't make it any more 'warm' if you use a strap that isn't too wide. I think the commercial one that's out is too wide; I just use a simple strap I got from Amazon. It's stretchy so it gives the whole headset a bit of 'bounce' and makes it a lot more comfortable.
