So Amazon will advertise and sell The Shooter's Bible among many other gun books including textbooks for gunsmithing classes not to mention all the CCW holsters and other accessories, but two people using clearly fictional guns on the cover is too much?

I wanted to believe this was photoshopped, but if it is somebody has gone to great lengths for a prank. It's a real thing on amazon, though they say it isn't released yet.

There are literally books written on this subject. What exactly do you want to do with your rifle? If you could narrow it down to something a little more specific you'll probably get more help.

I read Cartridges of the World for fun.

I would think alot more because of companies wanting more money.

I offer several solutions. That you decide to pretend I did not is your issue. ALSO https://www.amazon.com/Homemade-Guns-Ammo-Ronald-Brown/dp/158160677X GO luck with that. Anyway I muting the post I really do not have the time for this.

I triple concur. A friend of mine gifted me The Handloader's manual of cartridge conversions. Awesome book.

I don't know that cartridge, but Mark @ C&Rsenal suggested a book "The Handloaders Manual of Cartridge Conversions". In it, they suggest 357Maximum brass and have one load with 180gr spire point and Alliant 2400.

I don't see how using 223 would work, this looks like a rimmed cartridge, but I'm not into converting stuff, just interested in the old obsolete.

It's strange that our FAQ actually lacks maintenance guides for guns that aren't AR. We should work on that.

I can't say that any particular book will have exactly what you need, but here are few to check out.

Of these, the last link is what I would buy, but if you can physically inspect these books at your local bookstore, I'd do it. Just wanted to give you a spread in case one happened to work better for you than another.
