8+. Otterbox SYMMETRY, Black :: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01K6PBSK4
Currently going through this same issue. There's a few things I've found to give me some relief. I see in other comments that you're from Germany so I'll try to keep that in mind 👍
I use a gel ice pack that wraps around my neck. I also have a heat pack, but personally, the ice pack is much more relieving for my migraines.
Menthol cream like Biofreeze is a great way to give you at least a half hour of pain relief. Just rub some on your forehead, neck and maybe a little on your cheek bones, and you'll feel a cooling sensation that can really help you out in a pinch.
I'm fortunate enough to be in a state that has relaxed its medical marijuana laws, but I see that Germany is still keeping its MMJ close to the chest. Medical marijuana isn't for everyone, but it's worth looking into, especially since you're in a medication overuse predicament. There's a lot of different capacities medical marijuana comes in, at least in the States. I looked up some information about qualifying for medical marijuana in Germany if this is something that interests you.
Best of luck. This isn't an easy battle, but it'll get better.
EDIT: I also recommend the steroid taper for really troublesome migraines. I’ve gotten one mega-migraine per month recently and each time I’ve used a prednisone taper. My neurologist has his concerns about using this method too much, but so far it’s doing the trick.
Another thing I’ve thought of is ER visits. Sometimes you just can’t get any relief and your doctor isn’t readily available. I don’t know what the emergency healthcare situation is like in Germany, but in the States we have ERs in hospitals and standalone facilities. The standalone ER clinics are pretty badass, so if you have some equivalent to that I strongly recommend it. Most emergency rooms are armed with the “migraine cocktail.” It’s usually some combination of an anti-convulsant, anti-nausea, muscle relaxer, steroid, triptan or magnesium. You can tell them about your medication overuse headaches and they can adjust the recipe. Like I said, I’m dealing with MOH and going to the ER has helped me out, so I wouldn’t worry too much about their meds triggering another headache. It’s worth a shot, anyways.
Beans you say? It could be a heating pillow type thing.
Pop that bad boy in the microwave for a minute, and it's a hot pad.
Here's an example
if you warm up these and put some around your arms, it almost feels like someone is there.
For your cooler, I like the ones that come in a hard plastic shell over the soft sided ones. Much more durable.
For sore muscles I like these new hot and cold clay packs.
I also get a lot of cramps relief from filling a sock with uncooked rice and then microwaving it for a couple of minutes. It stays nice and warm a long time and can be very comforting. I have also used these things a lot for cramps when I had to be in class or something

They are like those except that they can be boiled and used again.
So, you need one of those https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008F076HC/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_HMIPCbSMTWF8Z
They make them so they go higher on your neck if you need that. And they are portable. They probable is a lot of them have potpori. I'm sensitive to smells, but can deal with natural smells from flowers. If you can't, there are options. First, you may be able to ask someone on what to omit the scents and make you one. Second, you can make your own. It may not be as nice.
It's really hard to find good care on medicaid sadly, if your currently at an office and think your not getting good care from one doctor ask to be seen by another. Make a fuss, your in terrible pain and this should be taken seriously.
Have you tried capsaicin cream?
https://www.amazon.com/Zostrix-Arthritis-Pain-Relief-Cream/dp/B00E4MIDZE
Capsaicin is interesting as it is effective for both arthritis pain and neurological pain. I've had mixed responses with store brands but Zostrix HP with .075% has been spot on 100% of the time.
I haven't tried their new packaging
https://www.amazon.com/Zostrix-Strength-Arthritis-Analgesic-Capsaicin/dp/B000F5IEK8/ref=pd_bxgy_121_img_2?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B000F5IEK8&pd_rd_r=Q5MMB3VWC51XD9WYY3H6&pd_rd_w=gOSVN&pd_rd_wg=jmBTG&refRID=Q5MMB3VWC51XD9WYY3H6&th=1
and its rather stronger then the stuff I have used.
Wallgreens/DuaneReed carry the correct stuff as well.
Like this but blanket sized? Sounds cozy. My mom loves electric blankets but I'm paranoid about fire, TBH. I love a warm bed though and I like the weight of blankets so I tend to layer a lot of blankets in the winter and heat up some Magic Bags and pop them under the covers to warm up. I love a toasty bed. 😋
Yep, it's what makes peppers spicy! This is the one we currently use. They recently discontinued the one without menthol.

All used all over Asia, all hot as hell. Particularly Tiger Balm. As a beginner I recommend you try Salonpas.
I buy most of this stuff at Vons/Albertsons! The Wheat-grass is next to the basil/cilantro herb section in the produce area, which is near the organic stuff. Water cress (or land cress) should be in that area too.
Coconut water seems to be everywhere, but I guess it would be near wherever your pomegranate and naked juices are?
CoQ10 is just a vitamin supplement you can skip, but it has a good flavor in liquid form. Its supposedly good for 'all around health' and basically just adds a yummy flavor (its like orange cream sickle). I buy it at Costco for the best price per ounce.
Aloe Vera is the only one I have to go to a 'healthy food' store , or buy on Amazon. Also, all the stuff I listed will be at a 'healthy food' store for sure. (whole foods, sprouts, trader joes, etc.)
Kefir is by the yogurts.
Oh and the joint powder- again totally skipable, but I buy Schiff joint care from Amazon because, well, I just try to take care of my joints :) I prefer it in powder form for my juices, which is hard to find in stores.
I absolutely love my juice after 6 weeks of doing it and I highly recommend it!
Probably herbal patches like these.

I usually use them when I'm feeling sore.
Those dots down his spine look like warts or maybe marks from fire cupping if the whole eastern medicine thing is being portrayed.

Yeah, agreed. I have heard of Plum Flower before - some of their supplements came recommended by an acupuncturist I used to see, but that's all, just heard of them, never tried them. They were too expensive through my acupuncturist.
I've had nothing but positive experiences buying random stuff from my local asian supermarket. Foods, teas, even stuff like fried gluten in a bag. And in the medicine section, I've bought tons of axe universal oil (cooling), it's $3 at the market. red oil (heating) is about the same. White flower oil is $6. Seems like it would be safe but ya never know. The Plum Flower product has good reviews, but I'm also a little weary of Amazon reviews.
Actually the main reason I posted is because I wanted people to start talking about better ways. There's gotta be better/easier things to use. I had thought of using something like this or some other large bladder. So any better ideas are welcomed!
It helps me with migraines. it's a herbal oil...here is a link: https://www.amazon.com/Tiger-Balm-Liniment-Relief-Herbal/dp/B00S2YZLNC
I would never joke about anything that could help with headaches! Sorry, it was supposed to be an encouraging wink...
You can rub it on your forehead and temples.
Trying to get off the aspartame myself... Powerade Zero is alright and this Emergen-C is pretty good as well...
So fun fact, that is the same stuff as Alieve. You can buy it generically (Naproxen) and they come in bottles that are way easier to open up!
http://www.amazon.com/Naproxen-Sodium-Kirkland-Signature-Prescription/dp/B005ECO6JU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1405976650&sr=8-1&keywords=naproxen
Use myoflex
I use a hot waterbottle.
I’m not a doctor. Just FYI.
I also take Midol, which contains acetaminophen (paracetamol outside the US), caffeine, and an antihistamine (I forget which one specifically). Be careful not to take other pain meds that also contain acetaminophen/paracetamol (this is what is in Tylenol). You can overdose, which can lead to liver damage/failure.
If my cramps are really bad, I take ibuprofen along with the Midol (or Tylenol). Ibuprofen is what is in Motrin and Advil. People who have tummy issues/ulcers are advised to stay away from ibuprofen as it exacerbates those issues.
Always be sure to check the active ingredients in your medicine to avoid accidental overdoses.
Tylenol is filtered through the liver; ibuprofen is filtered through the kidneys. I avoid alcohol when taking Tylenol. I also avoid alcohol when taking ibuprofen because it’s been shown to increase the likelihood that you’ll get tummy issues, or damage to your stomach lining.
Edited to add: I also use this thing that my mom would use on me as I was growing up whenever my tummy hurt (gastrointestinal issues). I only started to use to help with period pains in adulthood: https://www.amazon.com/White-Flower-Analgesic-Milliliter-Ounces/dp/B0016BCSUC
I live in California, and it has always been in stock at local Asian markets near me—usually Chinese or Filipino stores. You just go in and ask for “White Flower” or show a pic.
Before cannabis became legal in California, I’d use it to help manage the nausea and vomiting that resulted from gastroenteritis (24 hour stomach bug).
Feel better soon!!!!
