I think I'd rather have this shoes from asics..at least I think it looks better http://www.amazon.com/Asics-Mens-Met-conviction-Cross-trainer-Shoe/dp/B00ZCFZJIG
I really love my Inov8 335s:

Solid as a rock.
Socks are cool but fuck athlete's foot. I won't let my feet or socks ever touch the floor at any gym, ever again.

Chucks and Vans used to be the shoe of choice back in the day.
Ah, I was searching the grey ones. Size 11 is 34.
I just upgraded to clipless from several years using straps and I bought a pair of Giro Rumble VRs and they're pretty damn nice (though for a more casual look I probably would have gone with the milspec color instead of the black and orange I got).
I've seen COUNTLESS fakes on amazon, the amount of terrible rep yeezys listed there is crazy. Take for example, this listing:
https://www.amazon.com/adidas-Performance-Ultra-Boost-Running/dp/B00WW7JCCG
supposedly sold by "adidas" but if you scroll down to the reviews, you see seething reviews talking about how the shoes they received were fake. of course, you never know, but when it comes to sneakers i'd stick to retailers or reputable reselling platforms like stockx or goat.
here, the only sizes near that price are 11.5 and 12 though.
Saucony Men's Ride 8 Running Shoe, got fit for it at Marathon Sports here in Boston, I love the shoe and they just came out with the 9 so the 8 is only $75 on Amazon!
Hydration belt, keep my phone in the pouch to listen to my audibook and usually fill with water or Gatorade depending on length of run
Garmin Forerunner 235
TaoTronics Bluetooth Headphones
And in 1s and 0s I carry The Dark Tower Audiobook
Focusing just on shoes, I don't mix up shoes I'm not that advanced. The Ride 8 are perfect for my marathon training.
My feet are wide, very wide, like 3E dress shoes are tight wide, the Ride 8 are the wide version (as linked I believe?) and they feel fine
Never had a problem with shoes in the past except for not switching to new ones after they've become worn out, which is why I bought 2 pairs of the Ride at once.
I don't see the point of wearing multiple shoes granted I've never tried, I guess theoretically it would extend the time before you need to buy new shoes but I think it would be the same e.g. 1 pair for 3 months next pair for 3 months vs 2 pairs simultaneously for 6 months...
I bought cheap Adidas HVC wrestling shoes on eBay, and they're great for deadlifts (better than Cons or Vans). As for squatting, your personal squat style, body proportions, mobility, etc will determine how much benefit (if any) you get from weightlifting shoes.
I wear a version of these.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00Q77UUEQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1506564611&sr=8-1&pi=AC_UL420_SR280,420_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=asic+wrestling+shoes
I wear these shoes everywhere I go.
I've worn Merrells, trail glove I think. They all seem to have a slight arch support thing going on. Eventually I found: Vivobarefoot Men's Stealth 2 Walk Shoe https://www.amazon.com/Vivobarefoot-Mens-Stealth-Walk-Black/dp/B00TRQ7CMC/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1464794190&sr=8-2&keywords=shoe+stealth
I can feel a post it note on the carpet in these things. Completely flat, no support at all. Nice looking. I've run a few miles in them and coming from the Merrells I have to actually get used to it. Not as bad as going from regular to fivefingers but still an adjustment.
I run 3 miles and then wait till it doesn't hurt anywhere, then rinse repeat. Eventually all will be well.
Just chiming in as another vote for vivobarefoot. I've owned 6 different pairs over the years and they're well worth the investment IMHO.
They can wear out a tiny bit faster than some shoes, but only because they're thinner by nature. I suggest saving and buying multiple pairs so you can alternate them. I find that extends their life significantly.
My favorite so far are these, but I'd also recommend these or these.
If you buy the slip-ons keep in mind that vivo shoes run wide by nature so you might need to size accordingly (so they don't slip off).
Ha, for sure.
I totally do recommend getting pedals and shoes, but it's more of a bike handling and confidence thing than raw power. Again, what I said before. It can be done pretty damn affordably, FWIW! These and these would be a pretty damn solid starting point. No need to go full Sidi and Speedplay Nanos off the bat.
Looks like the Etnies Scout

Please dont free solo in BOATSHOES
These are the shoes.
I drum in these. Basically barefoot without actually being bare. I use them as an everyday walking/running shoe as well.

They are.
/u/gunslinger_006 linked them! https://www.amazon.com/Inov-8-Fastlift-Weight-Lifting-Thyme-Orange/dp/B00QTCZ69S/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1479859380&sr=8-4&keywords=inov-8+fastlift+335
They were affordable (~100USD) and show no signs of wear. I've owned them for about 6 months now. My previous pair of lifting shoes was a knock-off chinese brand that tore off of the sole, but these ones are solid.
I couldn't find them on the puma website but they are called Puma carson apparently. They are pretty dope, I had to cop a pair myself. You can buy them on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/PUMA-Mens-Carson-Runner-Cross-Training/dp/B00J8IHFBM/ref=pd_sbs_309_4?ie=UTF8&refRID=HXD7ZW87RS2P6XPE3QB4
I lift in these:
https://www.amazon.com/ASICS-Matflex-Wrestling-Black-Silver/dp/B00Q77UUEQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1495633043&sr=8-1&keywords=asics+wrestling+shoe
I love them.
I'm currently wearing Asics Matflex 5's. Super lightweight, good grip, and minimal sole. Laces replaced with Lock Laces because I'm a lazy who hates tying laces.
Personally, I use wrestling shoes.
ASICS Men's Matflex 5 Wrestling Shoe, Black/Silver, 11 M US https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00Q77UUAA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_jv4gzbP1W44RH
I wear the ASICS Matflex 5 wrestling shoe, and I cannot recommend them, they are too flexible and soft.
I've got the same shoes. I'd recommend against using them as they might develop some bad habits (flat footed). There's some pretty cheap wrestling shoes like these Asics that will give you more flex and keep you bouncy.
Here ya go, OP.
You can find the pedals on their own somewhere. I have these and I really do like them. They're cheap and don't have the best bearings but I haven't had issues with them.
Edit: Found these.
It's not too bad if you go with something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Venzo-Mountain-Bicycle-Cycling-Multi-Use/dp/B00PJHOL4K/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1468702073&sr=8-4-fkmr0&keywords=venzo+clipless+pedals+and+shoes
That's $60.00-$75.00 for both the shoes and pedals. I have both expensive Shimano brand pedals and shoes, and these Chinese knock-offs Venzo. Honestly, I can't tell much difference. And most of that difference is probably in my head.
The Shimano's look and feel better built (they probably are), but once you get on the bike, you can't really tell. So if you're going to try going clipless, go with a cheap brand like this before sinking a ton into a set a Shimanos.
I have the previous generation of New Balance Minimus Trainers. They're pretty awesome. Large toe box, flat Vibram soles, lightweight, breathable, low profile/minimalist. Great for dead lifts and squats. Bought them last May, they're still in good shape.
For pedals just get these. They're well-built, light, and work just as well as the more expensive variants (plus that bike is all 105 components so you might as well have the pedals be 105 as well). You'll need a pedal wrench obviously. You'll also need SPD-SL compatible shoes. Get these on amazon to save money. These are a pretty good starter shoe.
Yeah, if you're 6' a 57 should fit. I'd inspect it to make sure shifting, brakes, etc. are in working order and once you have the bike go to a place that does bike fitting (here is a good place to find locations). It'll run you around $100 but they'll be able to adjust heights, swap out the stem for a proper length, etc. Totally worth it to prevent injury (plus your bike will feel much better).

If you can't go barefoot try minimal training shoes like Merrell's Vapor Glove
IMO worth every cent.
Not sure if you're still investigating or not, but I've been a loyal Mizuno fan for over 15 years now. I've actually made a transition from vball shoes to running shoes, and just bought the Wave Rider 18 and wore them for a tournament yesterday (with Active Ankle T2 braces) and I have to say that they were amazingly comfortable. Tons of cushioning, great support, breathable, and off of Amazon, the style I wanted was only $65. Hope this can be helpful!

I bought these a few months ago. I enjoy that I can run comfortably in them and they give me a good base for my compund lifts.
I know they aren't technically climbing shoes, but I climb with these and they're fantastic and I absolutely love them. Only 30 bucks too.
