Thanks to discovering this sub a short while ago (it must have been u/victrhugochavez who posted the link in some of the other lifting-related subs I lurk in), I have managed to assemble a small, but perfectly formed home gym in a space of about a month.

As I haven’t got the room in the house for all the kit (nor would I want to noise pollute the living space, given that I do drop the weight on occasion), I have opted to set out in the small patio area, strategically taking over the space that was previously occupied by a children’s trampoline, before my wife made a move to put some garden furniture in :)

The equipment list is short (but sweet), reflecting the training I do (I’ve competed in a couple of powerlifting meets, but have been doubling with some weightlifting assistance recently):

Hey bud, I have those same rims, scoop up these to clean up the middle, they're cheap and resist rust. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001O0CQR0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I've done a few timing belts on those cars, they are not too bad.

  • The tricky part is you need the pulley holder tool and either one mofo of a breaker bar or a 3/4 air impact to get the crank pulley off.

  • On the interwebs there are lots of PDFs of the FS Manual for that car. Of course the tricky part is lining up everything.

  • On that engine you have both a timing belt and a balancer belt.

  • You also want to change the water pump, tensioner as well as crank and balancer shaft seals.

  • Use Honda coolant.

  • The 2.2 motor had the bad habit of spitting out balancer shaft seals (which dumps all oil instantly). There is a special balance shaft retainer clip you do need to install to prevent that seal from popping out.

It looks like your bearings are a full assembly.
Like the one at this link(not sure if its exact fit for your car):
[bearing on amazon] (http://www.amazon.com/GMB-730-0113-Wheel-Bearing-Assembly/dp/B004QHGQ0Q/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1408050848&sr=8-5&keywords=2002+subaru+legacy+wheel+bearings)

Here is a good video, your car should be similar, this guy makes tonnes of good videos!

Had this problem on my 05 Colorado and 08 Cobalt. Both were the wheel bearing hub. Here is the one I ordered for the Colorado from Amazon . GMB 730-0401 Wheel Bearing Hub Assembly https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004QHNCY4/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_AuCWub19NQ319

You need a few things to do this. First go to Google and search for "go kart plans" or "go kart schematics". This will give you a ton of options for building the frame. I've seen wood and metal stuff out there so you have quite the range.

Next you're going to need some kind of setup to drive the wheels and turn. You'll need the following:

Horizontal drive shaft engine

Clutch

Axle and bearings

Sprocket to drive the axle

Spindles for the front wheels

You'll also need a chain, steering linkage, steering wheel and some kind of brake system but you can figure it out yourself. Expect to spend at least $300 for the parts not including metal cost.

It really doesn't look that hard to build but if you're not serious it is a fair amount of money to drop on something that can't really be driven anywhere.

Oh, I want the front one lol. I also only planned to keep it for around three to five years. It's got 130k miles on it and after a paint job, she'll look good as new. Is NSK really only good for a few years?

Check the electrical plug for the ABS sensor from the hub assembly, it may have a bad connection. Here is a random assembly for reference. https://www.amazon.com/MOOG-515036-Wheel-Bearing-Assembly/dp/B000BZJVFY

2 wheel drive.. replace it.. you should be able to find a good used one..

it would be far more expensive to have it repaired..

there might be repair sleeves.. i have not seen a catalog for those in a long time.. i will have to look around.. the sealing surface Od should be 1.940" or 49.276mm its .250" wide..

http://www.skf.com/binary/30-128020/11337_2-EN-SKF-Speedi-Sleeve.pdf

perhaps the bottom 2 on page 23.. but they look too wide..

http://www.timken.com/en-US/products/Documents/Seal-Specification-Guide.pdf

page 92... KWK99193 but its still 5/8" wide after you knock off the removable flange.. could you grind it down before you install it????? could you grind it off after you install it.. probably a better idea..

it just might fit thinking of the surface width .. you have to do the measurements.. oh.. http://www.amazon.com/Timken-KWK99193-Oil-Seal/dp/B000EPSEK4
enjoy.. cheaper from rock http://www.rockauto.com/en/parts/timken,KWK99193,transfer+case+input+shaft+repair+sleeve,10517

don't forget to call your local parts stores.. my local az actually stocks it but i live near a hub store.

You are going to need the hub seal tool. Depending on year you'll need this. That hub seal you need, and your 4x4 wont work right if its not on there. Needs to be airtight fit.

If I am flying Y, I ALWAYS bring my cup pilot. I got it at a travel conference and thought it was a stupid idea. I ended up using it on my flight back and was hooked. It's also great for trains (used it in Japan and UK). I'm pretty tall so it's nice not to have my tray table down crowding my knees just because I'm not finished with my drink yet.

Something like this will do fine. Valvoline VV370 DEXRON-VI Full-Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid - 1 Quart https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002ZSKBU4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_98ErybYB570MD . My Mazda lists Dex atf on the cap, as others here have said.

I had to go look that up. Didn't realize changing bearings on Hondas was that in depth. The M3 has assemblies too: M3 hub assembly
