Boom! Buy one of these, rub some dirt on it. No one will know the difference.

I got this set (may have been a little different since it’s been awhile) of weighted baseballs .

But I would start with a regular ball and increase your throwing distance slowly. You aren’t looking for velocity or throwing the ball “on a line.” Just getting those muscles use to throwing long distances for strengthening. Even if it’s a higher looping throw (not straight up in the air) it will work.

Once you feel that you have “peaked” (throwing the long ball isn’t pushing you any longer) then move to a 7 oz and start the process again.

There's this ball with a built in sensor for under $30. I've never used anything like it so I can't speak of its accuracy from experience, but the reviews are mostly positive.

i think you are thinking of a different kind of rubber ball. they are identical to regular baseballs in weight and size, they are cork centered, wound, etc. it's just the covering is rubber/plastic, not leather.

Here is an example: https://www.amazon.com/Rawlings-Official-League-Recreational-Baseball/dp/B000OQA3N4?th=1

If frazier lost the ball, which you can see in the video he does, and reaches down and grabs the first ball he sees then this could absolutely happen.

Not sure if these are available there, but you should be able to find balls that are stamped with "OFFICIAL MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL". They're the same that's used in the MLB but without the magical mud rub.

Other baseballs are cheaper and work though.

Those are recreational-use baseballs and not made to official MLB standards like this one: https://www.amazon.com/Rawlings-2018-Official-MLB-Baseball/dp/B000096OJL.

The dead giveaway is that the "recreational" balls have a solid cork-rubber composite centre but MLB official balls - as seen in the gif - are wound string around a small solid centre.

If you want baseballs that the pros play with, 9" is the one you want. Those are fine for kids.

If you want to get a baseball, I'd recommend getting more than one (as you can lose them pretty easily), but a single baseball is usually 2-5 dollars (you can see thus here, or EUR 1-3.

As far as mitts go, I'd warn you against buying them online. Often, you need to try them on in order to figure out which one fits best and is comfortable. If you go to your local sporting goods store, you can try some on there (although it appears you live in Europe- I don't know how easy it is to find baseball equipment in Europe).

However, if this isn't an option, you can guesstimate what kind of glove you'll need. This site gives a good overview of the different sizing options. If you're just getting into baseball, look at the fielding gloves sizes.

Finally, here's a nice, cheap glove online. This is about average size for an adult, and costs $22.50, about $18.50 Euro.

Hope this helps!

I'm not saying it was accurate, but they make a baseball that reads your pitching speed. Like this

Sure. I don't understand baseball. Thanks, you condescending jackass.

Send me your address. I'll buy you a dozen balls if they are so important to you. Shit costs like $2 each.
