Husband just installed for me! Everything was sitting on the counter before or hidden away if it wasn't part of my active routine. Feels so nice to have it all on display!

Personally I would avoid drilling into the surround. If the surround cracked it would not be an easy repair.

Sure there you go: Link

And another wider photo of it in my bathroom.

I've been waiting for this shelf to arrive before posting this Shelfie :) Had a bad one that needed replacing and installed this shelf last week. Really happy with it, it also has 2 tiers as you can see.

If drilling is not an option, you can also glue it, I glued mine to china tiles and its solid as a rock. Used extra strong industrial glue.

Installing a WiFi thermostat has been helpful. I can monitor and change the temperature settings away from home, if I need to.

Steel storage racks in my laundry room with write-on magnetic labels. I use storage cubes and a dry-erase marker on the labels in case I ever want to change anything.

Phillips Hue lighting. I thought they looked cool before buying but was hesitant to buy because it's a little pricey and I figured it would just look cool and not really be useful. But being able to dim the lights, change to any color in separate rooms, and time the lights for being away or for bedtime has been very useful to me. There are a lot of options with these.

Edit: noticed and wanted to share a few more things as I walked around my house:

Humidifier, 1+ gallon capacity. Bought one from Target and set it in the dining area. Helps a lot with static shock with the dry air in the winter time.

Glass shelving (I shop a lot through Amazon.) on the side of the bathroom sink. Small bathroom with not a lot of space, so had to get creative.

And one sort of strange improvement: adopted a dog. I have a somewhat small house and a large yard in comparison to the neighborhood and house sq footage. I started to get resentful of my yard because it's a decent amount of upkeep and I didn't even really utilize it. Adopting the dog really made me appreciate the yard more; it's great that he has a lot of space to run around.

Probably not what you're looking for, but I actually already bought this shelf because it is the perfect size to sit on my extra-deep window sill. Super versatile, super plant-sized, and probably gonna buy another 1-2 because I just realized I think I can actually fit 3 of these in my one window.

I used to have a similar space between my fridge and wall in one of my apartments and someone installed a sliding towel rack to hold towels, potholders and oven mitts. So I think it would work. Not sure if a drawer slide would be enough, like Thelatedrpepper mentioned, but maybe if you had something designed to slide and be mounted on a wall.

The one I had was kind of like this or this

Or one of those plastic bins under your sink for items you don't need access to all the time. You can also repot things to make them more aesthetically pleasing if that's your thing

Cerca "scaffale acciaio" su Amazon e vedi cose tipo questo, ci sono varie misure, vanno bene per il raffreddamento dei dispositivi ed anche per il cable management.

edit: Io li trovo anche da Brico e simili.

I purchased this setup for my windowsill. Overall I like it, if you have spider plants or pothos it maybe a bit difficult to place on the lower shelves.

Oh interesting!! I thought you meant something like this. What type of product do you have?

u/xscubasam · 0 pointsr/organization

Personally, I would take down the shelves if I saw no use for them. Do you have a photo of the shelves?
I bought a single glass shelf from Amazon for the towel rack. I recommend it for small bathrooms. But if you plan to keep the shelves, I'd place an air freshener and small succulent or fake flower decor for the shelves that aren't practical. Possible a small basket that can hold spare toilet paper. Especially if you don't want to remove them and patch up the walls. If you decide to take down the top two, I suggest hanging some wall art to cover it up.
