Belt
Blazer in XXXL. Fits my shoulder but I’m swimming in it chest down.
Shoes: size 41 from Tong
I love my AE blazer. It’s thick and warm. But I’m going to have to bring it to a tailor to at least get the waist taken in. I wonder if it’s worth the trouble to tailor a $40 blazer or might as well save the money for a better one.
Today's outfit:
An all-around simple, understated look.
for sure, here it is. just bought the "01-black-only for high waist" one in the size bracket I fit into.
Check Etsy and Amazon on the sash. There are many similar options out there that are waaaay less.

You might be shocked to see how similar quality is in person, though I appreciate it’s not quite the same look.
You might have luck with something custom on Etsy.

That’s just one example, they have a ton of options ranging from $15-20 and up...
Where is the stain, height-wise? You said your bouquet will probably not cover it, so I assume somewhere between your hips and boobs? If that's the case and the stain is just off-centered (hence not covered by your bouquet), look into getting a belt / sash. You are the MOH so you can look a little bit different than the bridesmaids. Amazon has quite a few options under $20 that are prime eligible and would arrive by Friday. For example, I found this belt for $18.90.
If that isn't an option take it to the cleaner. Do not use baby wipes. Once a stain is treated in whatever way, professional cleaners will have a very hard time removing that stain. Send the receipt to the bridal shop and request a refund. If they refuse, leave a bad review and contact your bank if you paid by credit card.
I own three of these and they're A-mazing.

Potential affordable options :
Davids Bridal
Mikado and Tulle V-Neck Ball Gown Wedding Dress
Garza Ball Gown Wedding Dress with Double Straps

Lace gowns are generally the most expensive and difficult to reproduce affordably. Cheap lace looks cheap.

If I'm being completely honest, I'd suggest going with something simpler. A tulle ball gown with a deep v and a modest amount of mesh and sparkle. It's going to look sleek and beautiful and you can zing it up with some jewelry.

My Suggestion

Accessorised with these

And maybe this if you need moooore sparkle!

Hi! I think this dress is really cute and just the right amount of formal for a college prom. I think you could really jazz it up with the right accessories- in particular a fun belt!
You could probably make one with a ribbon, applique, and hot glue gun. To give you an idea, here are a few I found on amazon that would probably go nicely with your dress :)
I would be happy to share!! I love talking about crafting lol.
I drafted a pattern which you can download here. I used paper to figure out the proper shapes, and the bodice design is directly taken from the blog Columbia’s Closet. For reference, I’m about 5’6” and Riff Raff is about 6’1”.
Bodice:
The gold material is called Aluminor and it comes pre-quilted (THANK GOODNESS). It’s some kind of weird thermal material that I believe is used for lunchboxes? I lined it with black cotton to make it more comfortable. Then I topstitched around the edges. The side panels are held closed with snaps.
Shoulders:
This was probably the most time consuming part. I cut the pieces out of 1/4” foam, and repeated the process with 4-way stretch vinyl (leaving a good 1-2” seam allowance on the vinyl). The vinyl was also the most expensive part, at about $30/yard!
I used Weldwood contact cement to attach the vinyl to the foam, stretching and smoothing it over the surface.
I folded over the excess vinyl and topstitched through all the layers. My cheapo sewing machine barely handled it, and I broke a lot of needles. Be sure to use THICK needles because it’s a lot of layers! The vinyl is also kind of “sticky” which makes it hard to feed through the sewing machine. I solved this by adding yet another layer at the very bottom: tracing paper. I sewed right through the paper and ripped it away when I was done. It allowed everything to slide more smoothly through the machine.
I sewed the shoulders on with thick embroidery floss. I had to trim mine down a bit because I’m shorter than Riff Raff.
Gauntlets:
Exactly the same as making the shoulders. When topstitching, I added some gold bias tape to the top edges. I used some little clasps to hold them together.
Belt buckle:
These are just wooden dowels painted silver and attached to craft foam. I bought elastic belts from Amazon and threaded them through the slits I put in the craft foam rectangle.
I could go into WAY more detail but this is already a novel. Just ask if you want more info :)
I was thinking a medium sized silk black bow
with maybe a nice black coat to go along with it
Or a black bow belt with shiny stones on it . https://www.amazon.com/Wedding-Bridal-Crystal-Rhinestone-Dresses/dp/B07FNN4F84/ref=asc_df_B07FNN4F84/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=242199969022&hvpos=1o3&hvnetw=g&hvrand=7898148718633626253&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1013790&hvtargid=pla-491821264215&psc=1#
Something like this maybe
Wide tan belt (suede I think) with a round gold buckleActually a skinny belt like this one is probably a better fit, simple gold jewelry and/or pale pink stones, chunky nude heels (patent/glossy), and my mind is thinking a jade green clutch. The dress is soft, ephemeral and flowy so solid, structured, and angular accessories in coordinating but contrasting shades will offer visual interest. Red lip, relaxed updo. It's a really pretty dress.I got one on amazon that I like! Belt
Sauce Box
I would like this black belt off of my needs Wishlist: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076YB7M6N/?coliid=I3T3Q0DJN0E76R&colid=ZTO0710QJHHV&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it&th=1&psc=1
Thank you!
I think this is the belt I got. Sorry it took me forever to get back to you lol
