LaRoche-Posay Cicaplast is amazing. Tested on babies as young as a week old, and antibacterial.

I googled am Amazon link since the French names can be hard for people: https://www.amazon.com/Roche-Cicaplast-Soothing-Multi-Purpose-Sample/dp/B01LZC8F8Y/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1520686330&sr=8-1&keywords=Cicaplast&th=1

I use this Gold Bond Anti-Friction stick on my inner thighs and it works well. It's like a deodorant stick so I throw it in the cooler when I camp to make sure it doesn't melt, plus it feels really good putting it on cold. Seems like it's out of stock on Amazon but Target and Walmart should have it.

Stop wearing open heeled shoes like clogs/mules/flip flops.
Exfoliate a lot. And use a high quality moisturizer at night in socks- Bag Balm, Happy Feet, or even Cera Ve SA work great.

These foot peel masks are said to be super effective- I never needed them enough to try but the reviews are impressive.

A foot peel mask like this one, there's a lot of different brands, personally I like Tony Moly Shiny Foot

Emtpies - CeraVe Moisturizing Cream in the tub - This was my first tub, and while I liked it, it also made my face feel kind of tacky/sticky. This is annoying when I'm trying to fall asleep! Even if I apply a smaller amount, it still bugs me.

Purchases - Eucerin Skin Calming Moisturizing Cream - I bought this for use on my feet because the U-Lactin wasn't really working too well anymore. I really like how rich this lotion is, and it sinks in nicely too so my feet don't feel sticky and gross. So far, so good!

u/kmbigoni · 5 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

I ordered this one. I think it is the one that everyone is talking about. Someone please correct me if I found the wrong thing.

u/tristamshandy · 5 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

You can buy Nivea Creme in squeeze tubes on Amazon! The jar/tin was the only downside for me, the tubes were a godsend and they're small enough that you can travel with them in a carry-on.

u/wefearchange · 5 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

Are you in the US?

If so, try German Nivea Creme w/o some of the shit we use in the US to stabilize and stuff, works for most from what I've seen.

u/modestthief · 3 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

Dermatitis can be frustrating and the only thing I've found to truly make a long-term difference is eliminating certain foods from my diet, like milk, peanuts, sugary beverages, and alcohol. Otherwise, it's Nizoral or Head and Shoulders in the shower, leaving it on for a couple of minutes, then hydrocortisone cream out of the shower and Vaseline before bed. I use this routine when it's a severe flare up, though. Normally, I use hydrating CeraVe cleanser or Epaderm.

u/TeenyTinyTrekkie · 3 pointsr/AskWomen

I’m about to change your life.

Try Nivea Creme (made in Germany) be sure to get this exact one.. a lot of other ones are sneaky and are actually made in Mexico.

This stuff has blown my mind and I wish I knew about it sooner. I’m so excited about it!

u/kjsafo · 3 pointsr/amiugly

Jealous you got to go to Japan! Tokyo is a travel goal.

Neogen's Bio-peel exfoliating pads are incredible, and I use them once to twice a week. I just finished my pack of the wine exfoliants, and purchased the green tea one as a replacement. The wine one contains antioxidants and seemed to be more of an anti-aging product, whereas the green tea one appears to be more of a cleanse and tone and neutralize type of effect. Both are great, although I've only used the green tea one twice thus far. The wine one really helped mitigate some acne scars I had on my cheek, and has the highest ratings on Amazon.

I follow the exfoliant with a quick wash (just normal Neutrogena face wash) and tone with Thayer's Rose Water Witch Hazel. It's a non-alcoholic toner that moisturizes while tightening up the pores and cleansing a little extra. Most drugstore toners contain alcohol, which serves the opposite purpose of drying your skin out, and accelerating oil production, thereby creating more acne. You can purchase Thayer's at CVS or most drugstores; there's several other witch hazel alternatives that seem to work fine as well. This one just smells extra nice.

After toning, I slather on some aloe vera gel. The one by Nature Republic is dirt cheap, gets the job done, and the tub lasted me like six months. Aloe Vera is a great moisturizer because it's all natural, contains little to no additives, and isn't oily so it won't clog up your pores. It also feels great on the skin, kind of a cool jelly feeling.

Once that's done, I put a small dab of Skinfood's Royal Honey Propolis Serum. This shit is pricey, but it's magic. This, paired with the Neogen exfoliator, really wiped out the acne scars. It doesn't have a smell, and the consistency is thick and syrupy, so just use a small drop and it goes a long way. Your skin will feel super glowy afterwards.

A few times a week, before bed I'll wrap up the above skincare routine with Etude House's Moistfull Collagen Sleeping Pack. Legit, the morning after wearing this, I won't put on makeup because my skin's so on healthy. If you exfoliate, do the whole aforementioned skincare shebang, and then sleep with this baby on your face, you will be RADIANT. The sleeping pack is a jelly-like cream that you slather over your face in a thin layer. I've had my pack of it for like two months and it's still more than half full. It dries up within about five minutes, and is barely visible. It rinses off easily the next morning, with a little soap and warm water.

Hope this helps!!! I freaking love skincare lmao, if you couldn't tell.

What country are you in? I really like Vaseline petroleum jelly cream, it's basically just as moisturizing as pure vaseline but it's much more breathable and dries more matte so it's less greasy and shiny.

You'll have to try a few things to see what works and what you (your body) likes. Here's what I've done in the past when I've had a whole body issue. #1 Get the flare down and #2 Eliminate any itch causers.

  1. Bath. I soak my body in water and do some sort of oat bath like this http://www.amazon.com/Aveeno-Soothing-Treatment-Count-1-5oz/dp/B000UEAARO

  2. Cream. I also find many creams tend to burn my skin when it's flared up, but I've stuck to this one for the one I use right out of the shower. So pat dry and lotion up with this http://www.amazon.com/Cetaphil-Moisturizing-Cream-Fragrance-Free/dp/B000052YMQ. If that doesn't work for you, try to find a lotion that works for you. Plain old nivea lotion also worked for me but it's a bit oily.

  3. Steroid. If you okay with them, you should hit this hard with something for a week (2 x per day), then back off to once a day.

  4. Sheets. Use clean sheets as much as possible. Even iron them with the steam on high (including pillow case). Use a smell free detergent if possible.

  5. Keep you bed and floor area clean and vacuum. Dust mites could be an issue.

  6. Chill out in bed a lot, relax, but on a good TV show. This will reduce stress.

  7. Drink lots of water to stay hydrated

  8. Take an allergy medicine to reduce itch

Okay, that's all I can think of now.
u/seriouslyrawr · 2 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

Ah, I don't care about natural. It was just my best guess of what would work. Is that this one?

Thanks!

u/GoldenEucalyptus · 2 pointsr/SkincareAddictionUK

Yeah, I'm looking into hydrating moisturisers at the moment. Will order the Nature Republic Soothing & Moisture Aloe Vera Gel.

And also will get a gentler cleanser rather than an exfoliating one.

u/twotimestacotuesdays · 2 pointsr/eczema

I get this as well but mine is especially bad in the corners of my mouth. I put lotion on after brushing my teeth both morning and night. I use this lotion. You might want to try a few other ones to see what works for you. Good luck and hang in there!

I have been on Estrodial for three plus years and recently started using Pueraria Mirifica and other breast enhancement creams. I have been considerably more pleased with the result of the creams over the hormones. I started hormones at age 60 and I was told they might not have much effect. I saw good results but I truly am more pleased with the creams. I use creams over capsules/pills as I read somewhere that the liver absorbs about 90% of what you ingest so applying directly to the breast area gives better results. I have also noted that just like everyone recommend drink lots of water and exercise regardless of the weight loss plan, everyone offering advice on breast growth recommend massage the breasts and massaging has only been part of my regimen since I started using the creams. Quick disclaimer -- I cannot of course speak to the effectiveness of the creams if one is not already on hormones or one does not already have the benefit of some growth from hormones. Also FYI Amazon has several breast enlargement creams and herbal supplements. Here is a link to the one I am using along with a Puerara Mirifica cream -- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K4OPD6I/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1. Hope you find this info useful. When I have the opportunity to do so I will take some pics for those who are interested in what results I have seen so far.

u/jenn4u · 2 pointsr/asktransgender

Well I started off with pretty bad gynecomastia so that definitely helped. I was like an a cup when I was 9 xD, depressing growing up with it, turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I also have really wide chest and shoulders so it takes a lot of growth just to go up a cup size. So I started using a cream when I started HRT so they are big enough to downplay my shoulders.

So HRT is 4mg of estradiol and 300 spiro. The cream if you are interested. I've been using it for a month and it doesn't have the phytoestrogens that compete for receptors with your HRT.

This is the curvy pills: purebody vitamins

This is the breast tissue cream: isosensual

They seem gimmicky and superfluous but I’ve been using both for about 2 months and I’m liking the results. I’m also boujee af tho- yrmv.

I have dry skin and I use milk cleansers since they're more moisturizing. Here's a list of all of the ones I'm aware of:

u/LaraDark · 1 pointr/AsianBeauty

-the cetaphil doesn't foam, its more like a gel, its my go to for years, it really helps with my dry lids on the morning(i didn't use it fo this before ) which is the result of my new dry eye condition (thanks to prolonged computer use)

-isn't the (Vitamin C and BHA) whats going to make my skin flawless :-O?? I thought those two was the whole point in having beyonce's skin

this is my moisturizer i just added to combat the dryness, i've only used it a week..

Calms the itching and moisturises, was recommended to me by my GP. I'm from the UK and it's very commonly stocked in pharmacies and even on amazon; https://www.amazon.co.uk/E45-Dermatological-Itch-Relief-Cream/dp/B001PMM1LI/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_2?keywords=e-45+anti+itch&qid=1571623495&sr=8-2-fkmr0

u/fuck-a-doodle-do · 1 pointr/eczema

Lots of good advice here...

I've switched to a more intense moisturiser Epaderm Emollient twice a day (alongside steroid creams as I'm having a flare plus I've Pityriasis rosea this year, what joy!). Hasn't gotten rid of the lovely flakes but helps and doesn't sting!

u/Nocturnx · 1 pointr/Wetshaving

Vanicream

I echo what the reviews say. It works great for my son who has really bad eczema.

u/mybigballs · 1 pointr/Fitness
u/LikesGreenTea · 1 pointr/SkincareAddiction

I think creams would be too thick. Try a lotion, like Cerave. Or try a gel, like this one.

Also, if you want a new body wash, check out Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle Body Wash - only $4 per bottle!

u/[deleted] · 1 pointr/eczema

I had them about 6 years ago. I believed I used e45 itch Relief https://www.amazon.com/E45-Itch-Relief-Cream-100g/dp/B001PMM1LI

I would see a doctor if it doesn’t clear up though.

u/wellsomuchforlurking · 1 pointr/SkincareAddiction

After 3 weeks of using CeraVe in a tub, my skin had a horrible reaction. Big red bumps all over my cheeks. I didn't know what to do, but I know I had some Eucerin Calming Creme (http://www.amazon.com/Eucerin-Calming-Daily-Moisturizing-Creme/dp/B001FB5IN2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1370635587&sr=8-1&keywords=eucerin+calming+creme) in the cabinet. This is my now go to face moisturizer. I might need to find something a little lighter for the summer, but at least my skin looks much better.

u/PennyIsMahName · 1 pointr/eczema

I use CeraVe psoriasis cream. It is SO amazing, but some thibgs work better than others. I get mine at CVS. It comes in a short bottle with a pump. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B075N8392D/ref=mp_s_a_1_3_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1517897759&sr=8-3&keywords=cerave+psoriasis+moisturizing+cream

u/nnuts · 1 pointr/SkincareAddiction

So, I'm not good at taking care of my skin. Like, until about a year ago, when my redness got too bad for me to ignore anymore, I was using literally nothing but Irish Spring bar soap. Since then, I've used a real cleanser and a moisturizer with SPF 30. My skin seems to like it, but I'm still all red so I'm newly determined to be kinder to my skin.

Anyway, I'm pale with some freckles, with widespread redness along my cheeks, nose, forehead, and chin. I sometimes get semipermanent red spots but don't get all that many raised bumps. I'm dry between my eyebrows, as well as near and below the corners of my mouth. I'm oily along my nose, which is where I normally get any actual zits.

Right now, I have the following products :

Paula's Choice Skin Recovery for Redness/Rosacea - https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00DH20HU6 - I use this every time I shower, as well as before I put anything else on my skin

Goldfix Retinol Moisturizer with Spf 50 -
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B071JCFSXB?psc=1&ref=YO_POP_MB_PD - I currently use this both morning and night, though I'm about to try a new product without sunscreen for nighttime use

Nature Well Retinol Moisture Cream -
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01BRU1PVE - This is what I'm going to try to use at night, and I intend to use it on both my face and my body

Umber Dead Sea Bentonite Clay Mask - https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B071GD2V7B - I've only used this once, but my skin loved it. I'm probably going to use it twice a week unless someone tells me that's too often

I'm trying to find a moisturizing mask to use a couple days a week, as well as something for my redness, perhaps like this Prosacea gel here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B071GD2V7B Unfortunately I know virtually nothing about skincare so I don't even know if my current regimen is OK, much less what else I should be doing. Any and all advice is much appreciated...

u/redrider65 · 1 pointr/wicked_edge

What others have said, but I'll throw in:

  • change blades back to Astra
  • don't face lather; use a bowl
  • try a pre-shave oil like Shave Secret; read the reviews
  • coat the area with a little Nivea Creme, like granma used; very protective and helped me a lot years ago when I was noob--got the tip from a poster on shaveden.

    Good luck; let us know.

u/upvotes4jesus- · 1 pointr/comedyheaven

check out this cream. my wife uses it for hers and it works really well for store bought shit.

u/The_Bearded_Doctor · 1 pointr/AskDocs

Wash hands and shower with these

Use this as your emollient which can also be used as a soap substitute

And these gloves will help the emollient work even better

Once up and running throw in another 1-2 weeks of what your uncle gave you and Bob will be your father's brother.

u/RadiataMage · 1 pointr/SkincareAddiction

Agreed! The scent isn't too bad for me though haha. I have never seen it in stores but here it is on Amazon.

u/Princess_Queen · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Oh boy I shouldn't even comment cause it's embarrassing but my skincare routine consists of begrudgingly washing my face with like generic soap, if I was wearing makeup that day.

My most embarassing pimple story is my entire life from the age of 13 onward. (I don't want to feed the belief that people only have acne because they're not taking care of their skin hard enough or whatever though, nothing ever worked, i just extra gave up recently.)

This is on my beauty/skincare list and it has free shipping apparently. could be good because i don't have any moisturiser right now because I'm a bad person

u/GreatlyUnknown · 1 pointr/gentlefemdompersonals

I would not advise using Nair down there. Instead, use a product designed for that area, like Balls Balm and even then, follow the time limits on how long to leave in place.

u/aquajack6 · 1 pointr/SkincareAddiction

Vanicream is my hg brand for sensitive skin. CeraVe products break me out but Vanicream doesn't. I'm going through a bad eczema flare up right now and this Vanicream moisturizer is the only moisturizer that hasn't burned when I've applied it to my eczema. The formula is wonderfully bland.

Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream for Dry Skin-1 fl. oz is currently a lightning deal at 30% off + there is another 30% off for prime day.

u/goodlookingandrich · 1 pointr/SkincareAddiction

Yes thats right - its the moisturizing cream. Its non-comedogenic so it shouldn't break you out.

u/lumbarmoose · 1 pointr/running

I'm a big fan of classic Carmex.

I also just started using a Japanese cream called Yu-Be that's extremely moisturizing. I've been using it for dry skin on my face, but some of the reviews I read said that it's great for lips as well- particularly if you're dealing with wind burn.

Here it is on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Yu-Be-Moisturizing-Skin-Cream-Skin-1-25/dp/B0001UWRCI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1418105758&sr=8-2&keywords=yu+be&pebp=1418105808881

It's $16 for a tube, but if you're only using it on your lips that tube would probably last you damn near the rest of your life.

u/Dodgyrommer · 1 pointr/Makeup

Is this what you're talking about?

u/f3rn4ndrum5 · 1 pointr/bootroom

I use an anti-friction bar, every time I play and my caluses are great and no blisters between the fingers.

I apply it to the toes, specialy on the calluses and between the fingres. I also have a smaller local product that does the same thing but is thiner, like a stick glue.

Also I use double socks, a cotton one first then the long soccer socks. I feel cotton sucks the moisture better than synthetic.
