a similar product already exists , unfortunately they’re pretty overpriced.
I found that at Christian bookstores, they sell Bible cases with handles which are perfect for bujos. Actually, to make them perfect, I put two journals in at the same time. For the standard bujo size, you're looking for a Medium sized bible cover.
This is the one that I eventually settled on, and then just used an exacto knife to remove the little metal fish thingy.
Here are some others worth looking into:
This one is the right size, but has some downsides.
This one is WAY too big, but I found a Medium sized one at a store once.
This one is an ok option.
This one is the form factor that I like the most, but it's the wrong size, the color is ugly to me and it's way too feminine.
This is one of my favorite options, except for that obnoxious as fuck camo design.

Amazon is a beautiful website!

My boyfriend is a book worm and still mostly reads from actual paper books rather than kindle/tablet. He also loves being outside and doing nature-y stuff. So he's always using random things as book marks so I got him these bookmarks as a part of his present. Other than that, I got him a month long pass to the mountain so he can go snowboarding anytime he wants.
I'm really close his family (we've been dating for 2 years now) so I'm getting his dad a steak of the month thing. For him mom and sister, I'm getting a joint day at the spa for all three of us when we go visit them in Feburary. His mom and sister are also getting a necklace each that I found on etsy.
I stumbled across a writer's Youtube vlog Writerly Witterings and one of his videos talked about these things called Book Darts. They're basically a bookmark and mainly used for highlighting words, paragraphs or just pages you want to go back to or jump to rather than using a post-it note or writing and ruining a book.
It actually then dawned on me that these would be really good to use in notebooks to highlight pages to go back to, maybe if it's just a particular meeting note, or something else you've written about.
The darts clip onto the page, so you can't have that many on a single page, but when the notebook or regular book is closed you can see them on the edges of the book.
Anyway thought these were really cool and thought I'd share them as I just had a tin arrive today.
You can buy them on Amazon UK for £9.45 or on Amazon US for $8.50.
They are actually book marks:

They are pretty crappy book marks in actual use, to be honest, but they make for a nice little display addition on the cheap.
I like Sprouts better.

"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." Honestly, I love that quote.
It's my nieces birthday too!
This has been on my list for a moment, and I want it so bad it hurts!

These under $10 animal shaped paper-clips are adorable and full of whimsy. I use them in my planner and they make me happy when I see them. They are also eye-catching, and people always comment on them.
This under $5 lash separator removes clumps after applying mascara.
Amazon!
And for colored paperclips
I had gotten my book darts in a book journal kit from either Modern Mrs. Darcy or Boho Berry a while back, and my current set of colored paperclips from WalMart with some Binder Clips as well, during back to school, so you could check WalMart as well for the paper clips in the office supply section too.
My roommate and I got tired of playing on our print out of the Pokemon drinking game board with out Pokemon game pieces to play with. So I rectified the situation!
The Pokeball borders are done in the various Gen I ball types to make it easier to differentiate between your Charmander and McAsshole's Charmander.
Some useful information on how I printed and assembled these things:
Each pokeball token is 220 x 220 px. I had 1" game pieces and set the sheet up to print at 220dpi (on an 8.5 x 11 sheet).
I glued the entire printed sheet down to 1/8" thick foam board and cut out the pieces after the glue had set. As there are obviously for more tokens than you need for one game I initially only cut out about a quarter of the pieces.
To laminate the pieces I'd use clear adhesive book covers, like these.
If that sounds like too much work you can also just tape or glue the pieces down to quarters (almost the perfect size), scraps of cardboard or what the hell ever.
Happy drinking, fellow trainers.
Happy anniversary!
Instead of using paperclips to mark your place, you could try Book Darts. They're a lot slimmer than paperclips, so not as obvious, but they don't make your book bulky and I haven't had one fall out yet. You can also add more ribbons to your journal if you need them. I've done it a couple of times and it takes longer for the hot glue gun to heat up than to actually glue the ribbon in.
My initial thought was to purchase some book covers/sleeves (ex:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01I7DFKYC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_qvK9BbARWT958) for the school. Maybe kids would be able to check them out along with a book? I guess people might still be suspicious if they saw a kid using them, but maybe they wouldn't notice or care (especially if they were popular to use). I don't know if this is really the right answer to this problem since it could be expensive and all, this was just the first thing to come to mind.
How about a nice embossed bookmark. Everyone has room for a bookmark. write a nice personal note on these.
Or one that looks more like that one here
Or this...
Hehe I dont think that's a faux pas at all so here you go :)
There are way better: link
This has been around for a long time, and doesn't have the ridiculous elastic crap to deal with:
Amazon sells them.
I was going to say Why Should I Worry and then tell you (if you didn't already know) that Billy Joel wrote the music for Oliver and Company.
But then I saw that you said that you were trying to grow your disney collection.
My favourite isn't a sing-along song but is either The Kingdom Dance from Tangled or The heart-wrenching Paperman
I saw someone else get gifted this and my jaw dropped at it's simple beauty!
[Finger, well rubber one anyway] http://amzn.com/B003NTIMVO
Ninja time!!!
You can buy plastic sleeves and insert a decorative piece of card or whatever but sewing ribbon on the back is nicer. Or just lay a blank piece of the same material on the back, stitch the two together just outside the pattern area, cut a little way outside that and fray the edges to make a fringe. (You could add a personal touch to the "blank" piece -- initials and date, or something.)
For a quick solution you can use iron-on fusible web to stick a piece of ribbon or felt to the back.
I found these yesterday and fell in love. They are so cute I can't even...
I'm a stationary addict, and lately have fallen in love with post-its and the such. Cute things liven up my desk at work! And they're cheap + free shipping, which is always a plus in my book.
The KJV Concord Reference Bible is my ideal Bible. I bought one a couple of years ago and it's perfect. Red letter, thumb index, double column, Times Roman semi-bold typeface with black split-calf leather cover and Smyth sewn binding. The reference is high quality, too, and includes a concordance, Bible dictionary, 15 color maps, and cross reference. I bought this Bible cover to go with it, which is perfect for carrying my copy of the 1689 LBCF and Baptist Catechism and the 1650 Scottish Psalter in the second pocket. I have the perfect setup for my own personal needs.
I was originally going to post a link to Amazon but it looked to be against the rules:
50-count // 125-count
I'm not sure where I got them, but I got a couple 50-packs and they're great to give out to friends who read.
Well I have this for under 2 with free shipping on my wishlist that I would like to use for textbook marking and book marking. They would really help with remembering things without messing up beautiful books.
Probably off of amazon somewhere or at a local bookstore.
Edit: found a link to a few cheap ones on Amazon.
Love hiking? Want something unique? Try this!
I would love a gift card so I could watch Kick-Ass on Amazon Instant :) Thank you either way!!
My favourite way to finish them is to sew some cute fabric around it to cover the back and the sides. Walmart and any craft store has a bin of 'left overs' where you can get fat quarters in cute prints for as little as $1. It takes a bit of pinning and backstitching but it's not too difficult to do and it's well worth the aesthetic of the fabric against your picture.
They do make plastic covers you can use too if you want to go that route. and They even make fabrics that are prelaced just for bookmarks.
I found this hiking bookmark I figured you'd like from your post history.
They sell book sleeves like this
But to keep them from bending, I’d suggest one of these
Green in color and somewhat green thumb-related! Thank you!
(If it's too late to enter let me know, it's 3:15 pm central time and your original post says submitted 2 hours ago)
73 & 218!! :D
If I win, these bookmarks would be adorable!!
A little over $5
I think she would love something like this if she Loves Harry Potter :D
HARRY POTTER.
I know this song is really popular but HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE IT
I think these are really sweet. Plus, there's four of them!
Get a cardboard whatever size you want. If it's white, your job is almost done, otherwise, line it with white paper. Then wrap the whole thing in a layer of an adhesive bookcover, like this one. Try to buy a high quality version; something that's thick not thin, otherwise it will be a headache to stick on the cardboard.
Ta da! Super cheap super light dry erase board :).
These are pretty interesting
I love magnetic bookmarks and you get 20 in the set!
You can put whatever you like in this one and choose your color :-)
I really like these finger ones.
I also like these ones you wear on your thumb!.
Stealthy
Thanks for the contest.
Been using a last line bookmark for about 20 years. Love them. Great when one of the kids needs something and I can't get to the end of a chapter.

It is probably a little too thick to laminate. I'd go to Lowes or Home Depot or even Michaels and see if there is a sheet of clear adhesive... like a giant sticker heh
Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Kittrich-Rolled-Adhesive-Bookcover-03-750-12/dp/B001GIJNVC
Honestly, I would recommend just getting a flip-mat:

Hello, I'm sorry your team lost. Mine did too and I KNOW there are many people happy about it! But, there's always next year :/
Here is something to make you smile.
I have a few things on my $10 or less list but this is something I've been wanting to get.
I've been using these for years. I use them in reference books as well as in journals.
