Everybody knows that in the off season, the Easter Bunny lives on a farm where he brags insufferably about how important he is, and acts like his shit don't stink. Of course, all the other animals think he's kind of an ass, but they never say anything because they're too polite.

Finally, one day last winter, Pig had had enough. He couldn't take the boasting and bragging for one more second! So he told Bunny that any animal could deliver chocolate just as well as he could - heck, Pig himself could do it better! Naturally, Bunny was offended and laid down a challenge: this year, both the Bunny and the Pig would take over Easter duties, and they'd just see who did the best job!

Pig agreed, except for one thing. Bunny had already spent years perfecting his system, and months making this year's candy - there was no way Pig could be ready in time to deliver candy to the whole wide world. So the barnyard animals voted and decided that Pig would have to deliver candy to one child in each state or geographical region of the world.

And that's how the Easter Pig got his start in the candy-delivery industry.

Dark chocolate cookie butter cups. They're like the Saturday night version of quinoa.

We never really painted eggs growing up. Hunting for them around the house was our game. We would take turns hiding and then hunting for eggs and that was awesome. It started off with 20 regular plastic eggs, but as we got older it got harder and harder.

By the time my sister and I were in high school, we'd hide them in the yard half buried or in trees and you'd have to climb 15-20 feet to get them down. It got pretty intense. We haven't done it in years, but that was always so fun. To this day we'll still sometimes find eggs buried in the yard.

I wonder if you let the dye sit for long enough if the eggs themselves would be that color.

I think right now I'm about 80% to be a season ticket holder next season. I had a decent exchange with my rep today and I think we're on the same page now more or less. We'll see if he can keep it up when they're not pushing him to get sales though.

That they are mass produced commercial successful products I do not deny it. But Nutella is successful, while everyone recognize it is a murder in waiting.

But calling it the edge of the chocolate game, not really. And it is not a matter of branding or of price as you can find other mass produced products of far better quality. Côte d'Or for instance, either in taste or ingredients are far ahead. I have even found the Auchan branded chocolate orange confit far better in taste and in ingredients quality than the Lindt. Cadbury or Milka are chocolate products close to a candy but they don't hide from it. It doesn't make it good, but they sell them as they are.

Lindt markets their products as high quality stuff which is ridiculous. It is polished turd and it is depressing. When I see that I whish I could send emergency packages to the USA to make them discover how Lindt is selling them tasteless fat infused products.
