Yea... I was going to comment on that... I thought maybe it was a small joke they added for this video, nope, they're 100$: https://www.amazon.com/One-Teaspoon-Womens-Original-Trashwhore/dp/B00CQGE8J0.

Maybe the old larger ones didn't seem to help because you were already so bruised?? I would suggest wearing skirts for a few days to give yourself a break and then trying linen or other softer materials in shorts. I have some Lucky Brand shorts that are quite comfy.

so glad /u/UpsidedownTreetrunk got the image working, I think I can help!

charlotte russe $23

D&K amazon $18

forever21 $20

I also saw some very similar shorts at target this spring but I couldn't find them online, you might have better luck in stores? hope that helps!

Oh my gosh, I can answer this! I bought these in February and only just now started wearing them to work out (winter just continues to hold on!). They stay in place and aren’t too long to look awkward. They’re comfortable and have great coverage. I got the grey but will buy the rest on my next paycheck. I just wish they had brighter colors.

I like these. Not too short, deep pockets and good stretch. I’m plus size and they fit true to size for me. Ymmv. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01E8111B8

Thank you! If you see something like them even in another color, let me know. Even if it is months from now. The waistband only goes just around my belly button (I think just below actually). I don't like things around my waist or neck, makes me feel like I am being strangled. I always wear extra long tshirts or tshirt dresses so it works out ok.

I just measured them. From the seam at the crotch to the top of the waistband is 7 inches. Then from the crotch to the bottom of the shorts is 14 inches. They are long, really hit the top of my knees. I wouldn't mind a little shorter.

I looked for drawstring Bermuda pants online and that is the style I like. I don't see those in stores. Why not?

I like these but the color is a little loud. Too bad they aren't a more earth tone like taupe, grey, black or whatever. Just not bright red. That wouldn't go with anything. I guess I could overdye them with tea or something.

I like these but $40 is way too much to spend on a pair of shorts.

Um, what the bleep did I just find online? Just what the hell is wrong with people? Just what the what? Some guy would breed with the creature wearing these and then its the teacher's fault when the resulting spawn can't do math. There's 171 reviews. Each one of them is an argument against Bernie Sanders' free college idea. I don't even want to pay for these hoochies' kids' free lunches. These shorts should come with a sterilization program. Then afterwards they can clip their ear and release these bitches back into the wild.

I couldn't find anything short enough (and non-shiny/denim) on Amazon, so I just ordered from discountdance.com. they've got some neat things for around $10 a pop.

Edit: Plus, right now theyve got a special running for first order $5 off :) (WELCOME5)

Edit2: i was going to order these from amazon but a lot of the reviews say its not good for workouts since its not very sweat absorbent and it rides up. It's an option to look at, but i wound up not buying it.

We have similar taste in a way!

I dabble more in Victorian-era style clothing, but retro-ish things find their way into my wardrobe and wishlist sometimes as well.

Some things I think you would like: These cute space-themed tights, another cute pair of tights, high-waisted shorts, way cute dress, just trust me on these capris, frilly socks, and a graphic tee for good measure.

Shorts - size 3!
Did it work?!

Recently bought these.

I absolutely love them and they fit a bit loose which I love! But, what the heck do I wear them with?

u/IDontItsCinnamon · 1 pointr/xxfitness

These are great. They come to my mid thigh and they are great for running.

I have similar measurements and shape to you and I wear these jean shorts from Levi's in size 29. They don't appear as awkwardly long on my figure (30" smallest part of waist, 42" at widest part of hips). Reviews say the inseam is 4-5" so I would aim for that in shorts.

I thought this may help my fellow new parenters out there. If you're anything like me, you scoured the internet checking off every "must-have" baby items list before your LO was born, but I still ended up having Amazon deliver things about every other day for the first couple months.

As a disclaimer, I'm not saying these are MUST HAVE items. I just went through my Amazon purchases and I'm writing down some things that I purchased in those 3 AM wee hour Amazon shopping sprees.

Here's a compilation of everything that I felt I missed in my preparation for my baby girl:

  • An electric nail file. I was terrified to cut her nails myself. This is a safe and easy alternative.
  • A Swaddle UP. This allows her hands to be by her face, which she preferred her first month or two.
  • Friedababy MediFrida. My baby had a rough go of reflux and was diagnosed with Ranitidine pretty quickly. This helped us give her doses with no fuss!

  • Comfy shorts for me. I was unprepared for my post C-Section body and clothing options.

  • Gripe Water / Colic Drops. My reflux baby had some rouuuuugh nights. These helped? Maybe? Witching hour SUCKS.
  • A bigger swaddle that ZIPS. Screw trying to unvelcro my child out of her swaddle quietly at 2 AM.
  • A mirror to help with tummy time. She still hates tummy time. But she does like looking at herself for a while. So I count that as a win.
  • MORE. BOOKS. you don't have enough. I promise. After the 15th time of reading "The Rainbow Fish" you'll appreciate a change of pace. I personally recommend, "The Wonky Donkey."
  • Trial and error pacis. Your kid will have a preference and you'll just have to figure out which. Once you figure it out, buy extras.

  • Bibs / ABSORBENT Burp Cloths. Again... You don't have enough. And the little tiny rags that Gerber tries to sell at Target will not do the trick. Get some THICK in your burp cloth regimen.

    ---

I hope this helps! Let me know if there's anything you would add to the list.
