So this is less than $17 on Amazon, and for an international customer I am basically paying $40 to have this sent to Australia. Apparently with no sonic upgrade, just different colour/packaging...

Time to pick over the same 20 disappointing swaps again, I guess.

Love Francoise Hardy! You can get TCG from amazon for cheap:

Tous Les Garcons Et Les Filles https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N07JDPL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_QI9pDbW9M2CKA

Also recommend Sylvie Vartan, France Gall, Jacqueline Taeib, and Gillian Hills for some more sweet Ye Ye.

I got lucky on that whole JR.com thing. I ordered 9 albums and they only cancelled one of them.

Look around on amazon, there's some good ones for cheap. Don't know if you're into jazz, but there's Thelonious Monk going for cheap. I'll post some others if I remember that I got cheap:

some cheap Sonny Rollins

phoenix album for under 16 bucks

Earthless - Rhythms from a Cosmic Sky. Kickass Jam/psych album, one song per side, but both awesome

some black keys for cheap. rubber factory and chulahoma for 15

some tool going for cheap. Especially Undertow and Opiate

Can't go wrong with Miles Davis

There's a few more cheaper ones from him as well.

Amazon has it for 15 bucks at the moment. Not pink, or detail that VMP gave their version, but the option is still there.

Ali As - Amnesia

Das ganze Album ist einfach ultra geil und ich feier's richtig!

Dann noch einen Track den ich entdeckt habe. Unter anderem auch mit Ali As. (Neuer deutscher Lieblingskünstler)

Einfach ein geiler Track!

Then last night I went and saw Caspian... They sounded great, and I wanted to buy a shirt, but they only had Small size left. Might pick up their newest album today.

Edit: Forgot that I bought tickets to a bunch of shows... Intronaut/The Ocean, Melvins/Napalm Death/Melt Banana, Conan, Black Cobra/Bongzilla, Behemoth/Myrkur buying today, and then non-metal tickets for Godspeed! You Black Emperor! and Black Mountain goes onsale today too. Next week tickets for Dragged Into Sunlight/Primitive Man/Cult Leader go onsale and I am close to wetting myself with excitement for that one!

Vielleicht die CD zum hundert Jahre Sankt Pauli Konzert?

Oder die We Love St.Pauli CD?

Die gibts jetzt beide so nicht im Fanshop.

Oder was vom True Rebel Store? Die haben teilweise auch Pauli Sachen. (1 - 2)

Und je nachdem was er für ein Typ und Fan ist kann es ja vielleicht auch was Politisches oder Szenezeugs sein. ('FCK NZS' - 'St.Pauli Hardcore' - 'Love St. Pauli Hate Racism')

I can't narrow down the songs and movies to 5 but I think I can take a stab at the albums. The links go to Amazon. In no particular order...

  1. Kind of Blue by Miles Davis - It works in every situation. It makes me feel like I am out in nature. Just that feeling of being able to breath deeply and you think, "this is where I am supposed to be."

  2. Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd - It's so timeless. If this album came out today it would be hailed as innovative and fresh.

  3. In On The Kill Taker by Fugazi - The energy. The passion. The emotion. When I need to get pumped up, this album does it for me. I can hear the first notes of Facet Squared just typing this.

  4. A Fistful of Film Music by Ennio Morricone - My favorite film composer. This anthology is awesome from top to bottom and I could listen to it all day.

  5. Highway 61 Revisited by Bob Dylan - I was introduced to Bob Dylan way later than I wish I was so I feel like I am making up for lost time when I listen to him. No one makes nonsensical lyrics make so much sense like Dylan.

I could survive on a desert island with these 5 albums and never want for music. I might want a power supply though.
