Argh! I've seen that before. First, I thought it was a holder for those metal garlic odor remover disk things, but I'm googling and that doesn't seem to be it. I'll edit this if I figure it out.

A bamboo drying rack. I had one for about 5 years and it was the best thing ever. I have a really small kitchen as well. this drying rack really comes in handy. The dishes just kind of live there after getting washed so it freed up the prep area for cooking and the actual cabinets can now store the pots, pans, and misc cooking equipment I have when it's not in use.
