Wait. Are things like these okay though?

Because seriously these help my stomach like nothing else can.

As the other people have said anemia could be the culprit, iron deficient or other. The other thing that immediately comes to mind is some deficiency in your mitochondria. It could be a hereditary deficiency somewhere in the chemical chain or if it is a more minor one you might want to try pounding a bunch of antioxidents (tons of brightly colored fruits/veggies or a powder like this) for several days and see whether that helps your mitochondria out enough to decrease your mood swings. I hope this helps!

Are you refering to this stuff? Because that's not modafinil, it's some kind of seaweed extract that happens to have a similar name. It's not the same thing at all and will not have any of the effects of modafinil.

As far as recipes, I’m still working on these first 2. Adding black tea and raisins and b-vitamins seems to have kept things bubbling.

As far as juices, I get most everything from Aldi (or Trader Joe’s if you’re fancy) very few preservatives, dirt cheap prices and unique flavored juices (Harissa Mango Pineapple juice??!?)

Hope that helps! I’ll post updates as the batch progresses. 2 days from now I’ll probably cold crash and do a gelatin clarifier.

This is what I use, I've had success with it so far, though I've had to up to two scoops... I take it before every other workout, usually on arm/chest day.

I got a sample of this from bodybuilding.com. It tasted like drinking straight slushie syrup (blech!), but it got me VERY pumped.

I don't care posted twice in this thread, this is separate advice from the issue at hand.

Here's tips I wish I knew before body building.

  1. Start with a strength routine. Like Stronglifts 5v5.. This site is clutch because it has apt descriptions and videos of each form. I rep 225 lbs on the bench and deadlift 445lbs x 3, and have a really good physique. I STILL do a 3-day strength routine variation, an Iso routine will show you MUCH slower gains, I promise.

  2. Learn everything you can about form. Form IS GOD. I would rather bench 225 lbs with perfect form than 325 lbs with 10% off form. I swear. What people don't understand about injuries is that they don't just happen from going too heavy. A majority of workout related injuries were always pending, say your form is off 5% and you're putting additional pressure on your knees. Fixing your form could have saved you knee trouble when you're older, but not being aware will cause it to stack up and eventually cause you injury -> permanent problems. Form is God

  3. Supplements and eating aren't things you should be super concerned about the first couple months. Sure eating healthy is always desired, but you really can't get serious until you get some muscle on you and figure out what kind of intake you should have. At first, you SHOULD BE eating a little too much. Not enough to get massively fat, but in general people under eat and don't feed their muscles at the beginning. Take this with a grain of salt if you're overweight though.

  4. Supplements aren't necessary for a while. Get yourself a good protein shake and drink it after workouts, if you really have trouble finding motivation or drive, maybe get a pre work out to help boost your energy in the gym. Other than that and some regular daily vitamins, you don't need to worry about supplementation yet. Learn more about diet and supplements over the next couple months, amass knowledge before you take or diet in any way too seriously.

PS, I recommend White Flood as a first preworkout to try.

    Hope this helped!

Benefiber has a sugar-free version.

For the love of god, don't use more than one scoop in your quest to satisfy your curiosity. The back of the jar says 1-2 scoops, and I literally almost called an ambulance the first time I took two scoops. I was not joking about palpitations.

Try making homemade kettlecorn (or buying it, but compare sugar amount across different brands, some have a ton of sugar!) If you make your own yo ucan directly control the amount of sugar in it, and it's a good go-to when you wanna reach for the marshmallows. I will also eat regular stove popped popcorn with dark chocolate (at least 75%, currently I have the Trader Joe's 86%).

I consider soda a HUGE waste of calories/sugar (but I never liked it much so I'm biased). CVS makes some REALLY awesome flavored seltzers, lots of flavors and they're delicious.

Keep in mind that while you might go to marshmallows or osmething like it for a 'quick energy boost', they're a really shitty source of energy and you'll crash quickly. More substantial snacks will keep you full longer and won't give you the sluggish feelings from the sugar spike then plummet.

I really recommend the Oh Yeah Victory Bars cal 200
fat 6g
sugar 8g
carbs 28g
protein 21g
fiber 20g
net carbs 8g. They have a few different flavors, the cookie dough is my favorite, it tastes SO much like cookie dough, even has little chocolate chips in it! The fudge brownie is pretty good, and I l ike the peanut butter a lot also.

As opposed to ravebox; there is raveMAX. Basically does exactly the same thing. Boosts your seratonin, and afterwards with 5-HTP cleans up the mess you've made while rolling.

Only thing to notice, don't take any 12 hours before the show. or you could risk to diminish the roll

Two things that come to mind:

- How much metamucil are you taking? It looks like you can take up to 2 rounded teaspoons 3X per day, per the label. I would think about (gradually) moving up to that amount and see what happens. Just take 2 tsp with each meal (you could experiment whether before vs after vs during makes any difference). Move up gradually, not suddenly, from whatever you are taking now.

- You could try some of the other fiber products that are supposed to do well with IBS, to see if they are any better or worse. They are generally soluble type fiber. Examples are something with Sunfiber (one example) and Heather's Tummy Fiber.

I get these. It takes awhile to get used to all the extra fiber but if you can deal with being gassy for awhile they fill you up and kill the appetite.

We use this probiotic

And I just got this at the grocery store:

I'm not too specific on how much I give him. One stick lasts a couple weeks. I only give him the fiber in the morning, probiotic both meals. We also give him this stuff because he had a bit of arthritis that we don't want to get worse:

I know a lot about baobab, baobab powder and the oil. AMA

It is really healthy and is really good for you. But it's also important to maintain a balanced diet and active lifestyle and drink lots of water.

Morte on baobab powder:

If you are trying to clean peanut butter or mud that tells me that you're not getting enough fiber. You should try taking 3 of these 3 times a day with your food. I know they've certainly helped me.
