We still don’t watch a whole lot of TV but when we do, Iver is super into Mickey Mouse Clubhouse so I bought him a Mickey Mouse stuffed toy for Christmas. I also scored a Melissa & Doug table top easel for him! It’s a magnet board on one side and chalkboard on the other and has a paper roll holder. It comes with magnetic numbers and letters, chalk, dry erase markers, and a felt eraser. We already have a paper roll and I’m so dang excited for him to get it!

Yep the one we have has more of a plastic like paper. We have two newer model ones. One is a cube and one is a big one that stands on two short legs and has some different lighting modes like blinking. It's too damn big though.

My sister is 7 and pretty into learning so I got her things to try and keep that spirit alive. I bought her this telescope and a childrens book about celestial bodies. I also bought this for a girl about Isla's age for Christmas. I got to play with it in the store and it feels pretty awesome and never dries up.

Edit: Adela might be interested in the other things I got for my sister which were a Crayola crayon/marker maker, Bill Nye science books and this DohVinci thing

I just ordered this yesterday for my daughter to use on a 5.5 hour plane trip. It’s a magnet board, chalk board, white board complete set with chalk, marker and 100 magnets. I’m not sure on the quality of it as I haven’t physically had it but it’s small 9 by 12 inches so would be easy to pack magnet travel easel

We have the colored circles from Ikea that stack, a teepee, tea cup set, fisher price barista set. crayons and coloring book. Elmo, grover and one baby doll she took from daycare. Toy Dyson vaccuum. Melissa & Dough play pots and pans.

I get play dough intermittently but typically throw it away after a few uses.

She is home with me typically one-two weekdays. We go to please touch museum often (season pass) ,have therapies in afternnoon (early intervention, they bring their own toys). Im a big fan of things like this that are one time use : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y18RVSH/?coliid=IVFH7S9DPZ8Q6&colid=20G203TBMJI7S&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

. My daughter enjoys being a helper so most he day she just wants to do/watch what Im doing.

She also spends time on the gasp, ipad if Im doing work. I do limit to 1/2 hour a day

oh, i know you're not blowing smoke. the first couple of perfboard builds i have planned (after the few pcb kits i have lined up) don't need large cap values, so i skipped them for now. i'll pick them up once i've finished my first round of builds.

speaking of perfboard, this set should work, right? or is single-sided perf preferred?
