I believe that you have come to the wrong website to buy hysop oil. But if you need some I found some on Amazon here

first of all... damn those are amazing tits!

as far as the mosquitoes, i hate the smell of the chemical stuff but I find that mixing some of this:

with witch hazel works perfect!! and it smells amazing. I know its an essential oil and all that non-sense mess but I like the smell and mosquitoes hate it and witch hazel, all in all with this tiny bottle and a $1 bottle of witch hazel you'll have enough mosquito repellent for all year long.

You can get a smudge spray. I personally have not used it, but I have a friend that swears by it and loves to use it at work since she can't cleanse with smoke there either.

Forget about your worries and your strifes.

I have some real needs right now since I lost my second job. I wrote a column for our local print newspaper for years, and they decided to do away with the section of the paper that I wrote for. Ugh! That is $400 a month that I am down so my "needs" are adding up!

A few things I could really use are:

I'll link to some stuff I bought that I've found useful.

My office has all mounted routes, so I don't walk door to door but rather I drive mailbox to mailbox. Instead of headphones, I use a bluetooth speaker and I can't imagine going through a workday without it. So headphones or a speaker, depending on whether your fiance primarily walks or drives on his routes, is a great idea.

A nice water-resistant backpack comes in handy, and maybe even an insulated lunch box or waterbottle/thermos.

This may sound stupid, but when I get home aromatherapy helps me relax and sleep. I bought a little InnoGear oil diffuser off of Amazon and I like the Prime Natural oils like Good Night and Anxiety Relief. It's just a chill way to end the day.

This essential oil is amazing! It's comparable in quality to Thieves from Young Living or OnGard from DoTerra, but at a fraction of the cost (a bottle of those will run you around $50). It's great for this time of year if you're prone to colds and coughs, AND it smells super yummy. It's a great winter/holiday scent!

29 y/o female on daily dose 60 mgs of immediate release adderall. I stopped taking it for 18 months and here's what I found most helpful:

  • essential oils. There's a blend for focus/ADHD symptoms called "In Tune" it's made by doTerra and I order it on Amazon. Its a roller ball and apply to the back of your neck/base of your skull. Warning: strong smell, I didn't mind it and you get used to it but other people will ask where that hippie smell is coming from https://www.amazon.com/doTERRA-InTune-Essential-Focus-Blend/dp/B00SYNF8E8

  • matcha green tea, I order organic Rishi packets. The matcha is in powder form and it comes in packets I would empty into a water bottle. Tastes gross but you get used to it. Matcha has become pretty trendy and sold places (can add to your green tea at Starbucks) but bc it tastes like dirt/grass it's often combined with a lot of sugar. Here's the Amazon link for packets I https://www.amazon.com/Rishi-Tea-Matcha-Organic-Powder/dp/B001EQ5KRM

  • vitamins/supplements: I went to an integrative specialist, she did various tests and suggested supplements to take to balance out my brain chemistry. They were specific to me and some I took just for a few months whereas others I take regularly. One thing she found was that I don't absorb b vitamins (genetic) so she recommended a specific kind I should take. So there was a b complex, taurine, coQ, and vitamin D.

  • diet : I notice when I avoid refined sugar/processed foods i feel much more alert and less tired all the time. I am not as good at sticking to this one though!

  • morning cardio: bunch of studies showing the effects of exercise to improve focus immediately following/shortly after exercise. I am worse at this than dieting especially since I'd have to wake up so early to work out before work but hopefully you're better at this and can benefit! My doctor (primary care) was clear about at least 30 mins of cardio vs things that don't necessarily get your heart rate up like lifting (the way I do it at least) or slow/stretching type yoga

That being said, it's really really tough especially when youve been taking meds. I recently started back up on adderall bc I am back in school and while I was learning to cope well at my job without it, I really struggled when trying to write/study without medication.

Good luck, hope this was helpful!

Edit: "30 mins of cardio vs. things that don't get your heart rate up

I don't want to be an adult anymore because it really freaking sucks sometimes.

I hope you feel better soon. :/ I hate feeling like that, and unfortunately, it's been a lot lately.

This oil is currently only $2.82 + $1.99 shipping, but the price literally changes every 30 minutes, so it will probably be $120 by midnight.

Thanks for the contest!

some also have anti inflammatory and anti cancer effects too. You can treat arthritis with this stuff

I’m an elementary teacher and every year I’d get sick with bronchitis and then had to take antibiotics which I hated. But last year I decided to try something more natural so I bought three things.

  • Air purifier for my classroom.

  • Pei Pa Koa- it’s a Chinese cough medicine with natural herbs and products. Any time I feel my throat hurts or that a cough is coming I take it, and the next day I feel better.

    Pei Pa Koa - 10 Fl. Oz. ( 3 Pack) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002S56K40/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_b8OBCbKCKH2N7

  • Respire Essential Oil - I put 4 drops of this in my humidifier when I go to bed, and the next day I can breath better, and it also helps with sore throat and coughing.

1 Respiratory Essential Oil & Sinus Relief Blend - Supports Allergy Relief, Breathing, Congestion Relief, Respiratory Function - 100% Organic Therapeutic & Aromatherapy Grade - 15ml

    Hope you’re feeling better!

I know this won't help at all right now, but I've been digging aromatherapy and essential oils to relieve my headaches. For example, this stuff: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00UGJ1KYU/ref=cm_sw_r_wa_apa_ReQsybTY46ZG6
I use it with an oil diffuser to change the air in my room.

I'm surprised by how well it works. This along with regular cardio exercise (even if 20 mins) has been helpful.

I also use this oil for symptomatic relief:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0088EUOYW/ref=cm_sw_r_wa_apa_6gQsyb64TZ66V
It's an Indian oil and I apply it all over my scalp. It induces a nice cooling and relaxing feeling that relieves things a little bit and helps sleep.

They may or may not work for you, but if your headaches are bad, definitely worth trying.

u/wheresyourgod · 1 pointr/Anxiety

I don't really trust medication for anxiety for many reasons including physical side effects. One thing I have noticed calms me down some are respiratory oils. What I do is dab some onto a cloth surgical mask. It looks a little weird in public so sometimes I'll just put it on a tissue and act like I have a runny nose. As soon as I get a good inhale, my body eases down a bit. But I have to keep breathing it in for constant results. So the best time it works is when I'm able to wear a mask without any weird looks. This especially works if you feel all messed up near your throat from anxiety.

Sorry to hear about your struggles. I use one of these steam inhalers with some essential oils. It really seems to help.

I have not personally tried this (snorer myself, but I'm 80% sure I have a deviated septum), but my friend raves about this. She says her husband puts it on his toe, and it makes all the difference. It sounds ridiculous, but they swear by it.

u/fosterrrrr · 1 pointr/essentialoils

OK, well in that case, can you recommend a good, ultrasonic diffuser that can cover a 350-400 sq foot room? It doesn't need to fill the room super fast or have LED lights or anything. Just something reliable for a beginner. Plan on starting out with this to see how I like it. https://www.amazon.com/NOW-Solutions-Natures-Shield-Blend/dp/B015NFD8GO

u/SecretLifeOfANerd · 1 pointr/soapmaking

What about this? It looks like a blend, but it looks okay.

u/EveryPixelMatters · 1 pointr/trees

With the blended mint I can do it for free.

But I'm interested in eucalyptus drops & ice:

I found this OZ of eucalyptus extract on Amazon for $8. You're talking about a eucalyptus dropper and not cough drops right?

Do you put water in your bong as well as ice + drops?

Will have to compare the two in terms of potency.

Wow! iI love hearing about wonder customer service reps.

Here's my item...

Stress Relief Synergy Essential Oil Blend Roll On 10 ml. Pre-diluted with Fractionated Coconut Oil, 100% Pure Therapeutic Grade. Anxiety, Depression, Relaxation, Boost Mood, Uplifting, Calming https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CLFMJN1/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_qLW.BbAX2M7KG

I get to most likely have a bypass surgery on Friday, and this would help with all the stress and anxiety.

u/GuoKaiFeng · 1 pointr/INTP

Get the oil itself. I got some on Amazon - not too expensive and will last you awhile. I keep it by my sink and just tip into my hand as needed. Bergamot pairs well with it.

u/dawgsjw · 1 pointr/LifeProTips

So you think adding black pepper to turmeric is just bullshit too. You speak of all this science you believe in but want to pick and choose I guess. All vanillin does apparently is make it not evaporate as fast, what is hard to understand here?

And plus I said more catnip studies need to be done, but catnip essential oil is safe for topical use, so really the only research needed is just larger studies of the effectiveness on mosquitoes.

I've shown you studies on how effective citronella, lemon eucalyptus and now catnip essential oil is on mosquitoes. The only downside for some is how long it lasts. This can easily be avoided by using a oil like coconut oil as the carrier, problem solved.

Plus like I said it works great for gnats as well, which is something DEET can't touch.

http://www.amazon.com/Eucalyptus-Therapeutic-Essential-Edens-Garden-/dp/B002RTVKOC/ref=sr_1_7_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1465101277&sr=8-7&keywords=lemon+eucalyptus+essential+oil

So for about 11$ you can get 1oz and 10mL of essential oil and only need about 20-30 drops per 4oz spray bottle mixed with witch hazel (or coconut oil). 1 oz is about 500+ drops.

Plus if you read any of the reviews it shows how well it works for other people at repelling them.

u/LinuxNut · 1 pointr/EssentialOil

Maybe get her a nice essential diffuser with a couple of bottles of your favorite oil. Maybe an oil for the brain, like rosemary, there a oil blends you can get.

u/LolaRockabella · 1 pointr/cancer

Hi, I'm late to this post but I wanted to throw my own 2 cents in.

I have suffered from mouth sores for as long as I can remember. Until recently, the only thing that worked for me was Oracort. Last month I was visiting with a friend who shills essential oils, and when I said I had a brand new canker sore forming, she gave me 3 drops of oil in a cup of water and told me to swish. I shit you not, that canker sore went away within a couple of hours and didn't come back.

The blend was called "Four Thieves" and can be found through various distributors. It's a mix of cinnamon, clove, eucalyptus, lemon and rosemary oils.

http://www.amazon.com/Thieves-Essential-Cinnamon-Eucalyptus-Rosemary/dp/B008B9Y0EY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1377136194&sr=8-1&keywords=Four+Thieves+Synergy

u/[deleted] · 1 pointr/BabyBumps

Buy an essential oil diffuser, like this one for example and get a blend or two of essential oils, like this this one or other blends that smell good to you.

And if you don't have the diffuser, putting a pot of water boiling on the stove with drops of essential oil does the same thing.

u/DarkOctober · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

My favorite flower, by far, is the lilac.

The smell of lilacs in the air always tells me spring has sprung! I swear, I wish I could drink that smell! I also like how the colors of a lilac are soft and creamy, so pretty :)

If I win, I'd like some peppermint essential oil for $6.72 under new and used (it doesn't have to be an add on item), I like to make cleaning chemicals out of vinegar and this helps dilute the scent :)

> So you think adding black pepper to turmeric is just bullshit too. You speak of all this science you believe in but want to pick and choose I guess

in the context that adding black pepper to turmeric makes food taste better? I don't think that is bullshit. I would think it is bullshit if you said that adding black pepper to turmeric cures a sore throat, cancer, helps the skins, and repels bugs. Though, if there are science backing up any one of those claims, then I would use it. And no, I don't pick and chose my science. I agree with you on lemon eucalyptus, but it was citronella/vanillin mix that science need more research for. (and in the study I provided it did say that vanillin extended the longevity of the repellent.)

> And plus I said more catnip studies need to be done, but catnip essential oil is safe for topical use, so really the only research needed is just larger studies of the effectiveness on mosquitoes.

On which I agree with you. I said it looks promising, but it still needs to be tested for human/animal safely. With new chemicals/substances/cures/etc, you never know how it reacts to human/animals. I simply said that many "cures for cancer" pop up and most never make it final product. Thus, Catnip may turn out to be a dud

> I've shown you studies on how effective citronella, lemon eucalyptus and now catnip essential oil is on mosquitoes. The only downside for some is how long it lasts. This can easily be avoided by using a oil like coconut oil as the carrier, problem solved.

Once again, I agree with you on lemon eucalyptus, but catnip and citronella need more research. Coconut oil (again, adding a new substances, I see) can be used as longevity extender since it is an unsaturated fatty acids (like you said slows evaporation). Again, they look promising as an alternative to DEET.

>Plus like I said it works great for gnats as well, which is something DEET can't touch.

......in a discussion about mosquito repellent.

People can claim anything they want about Citronella Oil or Lemon Eucalyptus and its effectiveness on insect repellent. Only with science, can we determine if those claims are true. Anecdotal evidence is worthless in science.
