I bought this one. There's a spot that you can fit the iPad on without any issue.

I recently purchased one for myself during the holidays. There are a handful of simple, compact bikes that just use magnetic resistance and a few batteries. At work so I can't remember exactly which one I use, but here is one similar:

Honestly just 30 minutes a day makes a huge difference. Calorie counting and using this I'm down 15 pounds since the beginning of the year. About 200 miles later I feel a major difference. Only 35 to go to my goal!

I have the Aria by fitbit for my main scale.

My "double check" scale is this one here. Just to make sure.

I also use: This food scale as my in house food scale.

I have this one for my purse.

I also have these at home for use during the day: Fit Desk 2.0 wanting to get the extension desk for it at some point soon.

Elliptical/Bike Trainer in case I would prefer to "run".

Fitbit HR Charge Love this.

For hydration purposes: Electric kettle stainless steel with no plastic parts touching water ever. Love it.

Primo water pump with a two interchangeable 10 gallon jugs for easy no excuse water drinking.

My coffee maker right now is pretty... meh? I want to replace it this year with the ninja coffee bar.

Hunt around, you should be able to find a suspension corrected fork that will suit.

For example

Edit: I've done this to three bikes in the last few months, it can take a fair amount of searching to find the right fork, but it's worth it to get the geometry correct.

The crown height you should be looking for is actually 430mm - whatever sag you ride.

Edit 2: Another, but probably too short

Edit 3: Another possibility depending on which is the correct installation height. I used a version of this fork on one of the bikes I converted ( 465 mm fork to crown).

Try one of these http://www.amazon.com/Exerpeutic-Capacity-Programmable-Magnetic-Recumbent/dp/B00EKCCJCG/

It has a built-in mount for a tablet/laptop, and you can buy a side-mounted addon shelf to install a microwave in case you get hungry and need a Hotpocket during a long workout. 👍🏻

Not quite under 200 right now, but I'll say that my wife bought one of these Schwinns a few years ago and I've put an improbable number of miles on it without drama.

Do you like riding a bike? Because riding a real road bike is way more fun, but if you have the room at your place and can watch tv/movies/ipad/listen to podcasts/music/etc then yea I think it works great. I've had this one for about 2 years, its not too bad for the price (I liked the magnetic resistance for HIIT, screen for distance, and its pretty quiet).

If you don't care about those features you can get a spin bike with the resistance knob even cheaper.

For me it would be a toss up between:

Shit, I have an unopened Fitness Reality Bike in my garage that I'm waiting to assemble until I move into my new apartment...

Wife got this one just less than a year ago. They seem to have a ton of different models.

It is quiet. Only real noise is real low sound from the friction contact. Easy to have a conversation at normal levels when she is riding it.

Also nice, this had dual platform pedals so using SPD didn’t require new ones.

I bought this recumbent bike for $150 off of some guy on Varagesale the other day. It was pretty much brand new, dude said he only used it like twice and said it was too uncomfortable for him since he was really tall. So far I love this thing. It's good for me since it's pretty low impact on my knees plus I convinced wifey to let me stick it in the living room so I can game and/or watch TV while I work out.

Now I gotta work on maintaining a diet. Can anyone list some foods that are low in calories but filling? Also does anyone here meal prep? What do you make?

Hi,
Mediengestalter seit knapp 2 Jahren.

This Sole SB900 is the closest thing I’ve found to what the peloton bike is, without going over $1000 (it’s $999 at Dicks Sporting Goods). I would much rather save $700, but also don’t want it to go unused because it wasn’t what she expected/wanted. Hard to manage expectations when I have no idea about any of this stuff and have to read reviews from “cyclist” to see what’s good and what’s not.

They are Marcy Club Trainer bikes like this but a different model or color scheme.
