For the long hair you could just use clip-on hair extensions to the hair on the back of your head. Something like this is pretty cheap though not very long.

I dunno about the pants and big ol' belt. Maybe a weight belt like this one on backwards and above some harem pants.

You might also reference these pictures 1 & 2 to do the blue warpaint and for a good visual on the wedding belt.

I couldn't find the exact model he's using, but I found these on amazon. HERE

Personally I use these but I only use straps on high reps deadlifts. Hope this helped.

I got that same pair but the "small" version, mainly meant for female lifters. They work great!

There is 2 types that are easy to put around the bar, one is the figure 8 straps (Eddie hall used these for his 500 pull). The other type is kinda hard to describe, the strap is shorter than usual and have a stiff element on the end which acts as a natural resistance. Shiek sells those on amazon, they are great.

Edit: I mean these

Bought my wife these liffting straps instead of gloves and she loves them: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HUFXZG4/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_awdm_l2p4wbG0WGJXW

Hands slid around in gloves and the padding was either too thick or thin in other gloves. Straps provide a nice consistent and durable grip.

Mine are just some cheap ones from Amazon, the standard wrap around and twist kind - never done me wrong.

Brother has given me his figure 8 ones but they are a bit meh.

Never tried the hook ones.

They just take that grip-strain off, that flares up my elbow, I only use them for rowing though, not had a deadlift grip problem yet so I cant say how they'd hold up above 200kgs.

Edit: this style.. cheap as chips

I got to that point around 180lbs. It kept feeling like it was going to slip out of my hands. So I started using a mixed grip when I got to that point. One overhand, one underhand. It takes some getting used to because it feels kind of awkward, but it helped a lot. As I progress, should my grip fail me again, I will start using some straps, similar to this. Those are actually the ones my boyfriend uses when he pulls his heavier deadlifts, so I'll have a chance to try them before I commit to buying a pair.

Other helpful things: My wrists began to feel sore after doing bench and OHP. I have very petite wrists (especially for my size... I'm 5'9" and 160lbs but my wrists are just itty bitty) and they have trouble supporting the weight I'm pressing. So I found a DIY Wrist Wrap pattern and tutorial (which I've posted in this sub recently) and made myself a couple wraps. Tried them out on Monday for bench, they were great, helped my stability a lot. Trying them out today with OHP.

Also have tried using a belt when pulling my heavier deadlifts and doing heavier squats. I use it less as a cheat and more as a cue to remind me to breathe into my stomach, as I tend to breathe more into my shoulders. It helps more than I thought it would.

  1. Check (:

  2. Lifting Straps My Deadlift game is increasing and want to avoid wrist injury.

Blender Blottle Mine cracked and have been using my brothers..

Ipod Sleeve Would make cardio and other lifts easier to deal with earphone getting tangled

Those are my only >$10 ones, and surpsing me would be cool if i won(:

  3. Fitness tip: you'd be surprised how much you can endure with a kickass playlist. Good music helps distract your brain from the pain.

Same here with grip, can't hold on for more than 6 reps with 225 but I can go much higher with these hooks:

Best $12 I ever spent on fitness stuff. I continue to work on grip, but it makes no sense to have that holding back heavier deads.

Go to a sporting goods store and pick up some of these: http://www.amazon.com/adidas-Hook-Lifting-Straps-Black/dp/B0088A0DI8

Might want to call ahead first to make sure they carry them.

Looking for a cheap but good pair of straps. I don't know what type to get, as it is mainly for dumbbell rows, machine rows and lat pulldowns, since grip isn't a problem on deadlifts.
Would something like this be enough?

The orange/black from GASP is the best IMO. Gives great support, good velcro that holds the wraps, cheap and lasts forever.

Got these cus they had the least cringy logo while being relatively cheap. I'm gonna try to get a reshipment and give it another try. I'm hoping I just got a defective pair, but if it breaks again, I'm just gonna shell out more and buy a pair with better quality.

My wrist supports aren't great, a bit short in all honesty. I just bought this bundle a while back ago, http://www.amazon.com/Lifting-Weightlifting-Crossfit-Powerlifting-Bodybuilding/dp/B00MZN3AHA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1418403495&sr=8-1&keywords=nordic+lifting+wrist

They both are fine for my needs right now, but there are definitely better ones out there. elitefts running some sales atm I would look at, and also heard people like mark bell's multipurpose wraps.

I've got some inexpensive stitched Nordic Lifting straps that I use for high-rep deadlift sets. Nothing fancy, but I've pulled 415 with them without any issue. They definitely help hold the weight (or rather, they help my wrists assist my grip) without any issue. I have no idea how they compare to other straps, but I've been plenty happy with these.

Edit: link.

I bought these, theyre cheap, have fantastic grip on the bar and have a foam pad so my wrists don't get slashed while doing max DL / Shrugs.

I personally acquired my own implements from Brodin's Building (Bodybuilding.com) however I note that the Amazonians offer similar implements to my own for only $10 (Amazon) with free shipping if a Prime friend of their tribe. Other than being a Captain of Crush, any recommendations for grip training for endurance?
