Replying to myself and my list is all over the place but these all made me happier (and no affiliate links here people):

Devotions by Mary Oliver - this book of poems was the nicest thing I gave myself this year

My new favorite necklace stand

Bluetooth shower speaker - I start my day with a positive podcast each day now

Tea Tins - I drink an insane amount of teas and these keep the quality up

Wine opener - Do I really need this? Do I even drink enough wine to justify this? Questions I asked when I was younger and more naive because this was the best thing I ever asked for, especially ahead of hosting a bridal shower

Puzzles. Last Christmas I decided my husband and I would do puzzles and drink cocoa and eat Moose Munch while listening to happy music or watching classic movies, many of which were Christmas themed. Best idea ever. I plan to make kits of these for a few people I'll be seeing at the beginning of the month and therefore they can enjoy their Christmas gift all month long.

Microfiber washcloths. Such an upgrade.

Yes! All this.

Sanitary napkins with wings

Tampon variety pack

Hair ties (get the ones with no metal joiner)

Makeup remover (get the individual packs)

Now here's what I think you should do: Take all of these things out of the original boxes and put them in a basket. No girl wants to see a pack of 20 makeup wipes with only two wipes left; we know you weren't a virgin when we met, but keep it classy.

I bought a 16 pack from amazon and I really like them. I never run out and the texture is fine for my skin. They are a bit big for what I was used to, but that means you can wipe off a full night of makeup with just one pad so I'm happy with it. There are so many you can use from. I have tried ponds cleansing balm, that clogged my pores. I tried softymo from Amazon, that clogged my pores. I was super frustrated and started researching. I then found posts about grape seed oil. I ordered this one from amazon Handcraft Pure Grapeseed Oil -... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D9VTBK2?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share and wow must I say. My skin changed dramatically. Apparently my skin loved it. I also ordered these microfiber towels Sinland Microfiber Facial Cloths... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H4J5RC5?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share since the double cleanse method requires a towel and warm water. It is all trial and error. Do not try avocado oil or coconut oil. Those clog your pores like crazy. I heard mineral settles with most people but it didn’t with me unfortunately. Good luck with everything!

I'm not sure what you mean by heavy, does it not take off your makeup well enough? I find I only need to use a little, I usually take off my eye and lip with a makeup remover cloth then use this all over my face. The cloth gets off much of the heavy makeup but the balm will get most of the rest. It's usually black from mascara when I wash it off.

Foaming and sudsing cleansers are actually usually quite drying and can have a pH unsuitable for skin. Milk and cream cleansers are your best bet. I like Eucerin Dermatoclean and Avene Extremely Gentle Cleanser. Cerave Hydrating Cleanser is also decent and is more affordable. Milk and cream cleansers should be applied to dry skin with clean hands.

For what it's worth, I can't stand splashing water on my face either. It just gets everywhere and runs down my elbows onto the floor. Try soaking a nice fluffy microfibre cloth in warm water, wringing it out, and taking your cleanser off that way.

I get a fresh one out every morning, use it AM and PM, then put it in the wash basket. Make sure you don't wash them with fabric softener, as that clogs the fibres. I prefer using a white one so I can see that all my makeup's come off

Amazon or beauty aisles at Target or Walmart - their makeup remover towels (which are soft microfiber cloths) are like less than $10.

I got mine from Amazon

They are awesome. I have washed them in the washing machine and put them through the dryer multiple times and they're still going strong.

if you’re looking for something to remove makeup, i recommend this makeup removing towel from amazon. It’s reusable&washable so it’s not contributing to your garbage like makeup wipes do, and it somehow magically removes all the makeup from my face.

30 miles a day without any bike experience is a lot, but with the right discipline, you should be able to do it.

whatever your budget is, i'd recommend aiming for lower. There's little sense in buying a really expensive bike right away. You wont know how to maintain it, how good it actually is, and most important of all, you generally need to spend a good amount of money on gear (helmet, lights, bag(s), tubes, etc) anyways so saving a little on the bike is a good idea. upgrade later if needed.

i generally recommend buying a used bike until you know exactly what you like, but do go to a bike shop and figuring out what kind of bike you'll want, size, and what options are available. Sizing is very important. they can measure your body and fit you for the right size. Maybe even test ride a few. Buying used on craigslist takes time, but it'll be worth it. The first bike i bought, I sold a year later for about the same price i bought it for. Its almost like a free rental. There are benefits from buying directly from a shop, but I'd still go used, especially in the beginning.

For me, I started with a hybrid bike last year. Some people have no problem going long distance on those, but I had trouble going much more than 10-15 miles on them. The short rides are comfortable, but gaining much speed to go longer distances was tough. You may want to look for a commuter bike for the best tradeoff between distance and comfort.

I carry wet wipes with me when riding to places where I need to be presentable. I go to the bathroom upon arrival, wash up a bit, use these https://www.amazon.com/Yes-Cucumbers-Soothing-Hypoallergenic-Facial/dp/B079NV9PBG/ and then change my clothes. Deodorant is also a must.

My girlfriend and I swear by these... So incredibly refreshing in the morning and evening, and I did not break out once last year.

u/gimmeyourbadinage · 2 pointsr/sex

Lots of good advice, so here's some links for ease:

makeup wipes

tampon variety box

Yes you can buy a pack of hair ties and bobby pins and stuff but unless you're trying to open a convenience store for these ladies (and by all means if you want, go for it) these two things are plenty.

u/SoJenniferSays · 2 pointsr/Septemberbumpers2017

Mine was awful, then I fixed it with two products, then I got lazy and it came back. Lessons were learned. My two products are tea tree oil body wash (https://www.amazon.com/Body-Shop-Tree-Wash-Vegan/dp/B002K8W1UC) and glycolic acid pads (https://www.amazon.com/Nip-Fab-Glycolic-Daily-Cleansing/dp/B00BL5LB2Y). Note that this combo would be way too harsh for your face, so don't get any crazy ideas!

u/roogoogle · 2 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

I swear by the Wonder Cloth.

u/sopreshous · 1 pointr/muacjdiscussion

I’ve been using these pads. They’re huge and soft and I just wash them with the laundry. They soak up my makeup remover nicely, and I only have to swipe a few times to clean my face. I would like to have more but I just flip them over because the other side doesn’t soak up the dirt.

I'd drop shampoo altogether, use conditioner. Massage your scalp gently but thoroughly with your finger tips. If your hair is long, be sure to gently smooth the conditioner through it. As for your skin, try different body washes. I like: http://www.amazon.com/Body-Shop-Tea-Tree-Wash/dp/B002K8W1UC/ref=sr_1_26?ie=UTF8&qid=1319231490&sr=8-26 and http://www.amazon.com/Body-Shop-Clearing-Facial-Regular/dp/B002K8W58K/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1319231477&sr=8-1 . Look up the ingredients, they're pretty good. After you shower toss on some of this, http://www.amazon.com/Desert-Essence-Organic-Jojoba-4-Ounce/dp/B0000C0XL8/ref=sr_1_1?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1319231537&sr=1-1 . BarefootNick is also right, drink a lot of water. The less chemicals you toss in your body the better off you are. Good luck bud.

Edit: Also remember, everyone is different. What may help Derp may not help Derpina.

I am in Japan, so I bought it at the drugstore. However, I did a quick search on Amazon and found it here!

u/gleeXanadu · 1 pointr/SkincareAddiction

One of my favorite bloggers loves the feel of this cloth. It's not microfiber btw.

All of her reviews are 100% her own and not sponsored, so I trust her opinion. So maybe you'll like this one. It's $9.13 on Amazon.

u/AliceLid · 1 pointr/SkincareAddiction

Here’s an Amazon link to the ones I bought.
