It used to be my Yankees cap, but now that I'm in Florida it's my sun hat. I cut the string off because it was annoying, but I always get compliments on it.

Also, I love Woods of Windsor stuff and switch between lily of the valley and rose (soap and cologne). Since I'm usually in jeans and t-shirts it reminds me that I'm a chick. :D

I own a pool business so I'm outside all the time. I bought hat this last week and it's amazing. Keeps my head cool and the sun off of my face, neck, and shoulders. I'm incredibly white so I need all the help hiding from the sun I can get.

I used one for my NZ trip. It's actually pretty nice - fit is much better (though still a bit baggy, particularly in the arms).

However, the zippers failed on me constantly - they are the slimmer waterproof type and they simply burst open with the slightest tug on the pockets. Zipping up the main jacket about 10% of the time it would mis-zip and I'd have to mess with it. Drove me crazy.

If they could use ykk zippers I'd be willing to pick another one up, but they seem to just be rebranding these compass jackets: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0728678VN/ref=twister_B01MAZ3TWU?th=1

This looks to be it. It also looks like /u/Cliffhanger777 isn't wearing them quite right, according to the Amazon photo.

My below zero setup is this.

I tend to wear high top gym shoes that are about a size too big, enough room so I could fit my socks and feet into the shoes, and plus, it helps keep the snow out of your feet. Also good for driving, since it's impossible to drive while you're wearing boots.

I would invest in some wide-brimmed hats for your outdoor work! Can you wear a hat? Something like this, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IDEH778/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_S1hVAbPTE3XKG.

I sit outside and bake all summer, watching my kids swim in our pool. I use various sunscreens, and wear fishermen hats. I have used Cotz, elta md, and Badger sunscreen all with good results. I can’t get sun either, as I have sun damaged skin and redness too...due to over-exfoliation, sensitive skin, and horrible use of sunscreen when I was younger 😬 I wear a long-sleeved rash guard shirt by the pool too :)

I have one of these but the NRS boaters gloves also look good.

Shirts like these are lifesavers for me - keep me cooler and protection from the sun. I wear a face buff as well but had issues with them always pulling out from my shirt and my neck becoming exposed (less of a problem with my newer one).

here Spring stop toggle or a cord lock.

I would toss in $80 from my piggy bank and order the NRS Sidewinder bibs. Alternatively, you could get a top-notch rain jacket, like the Huk NXTLVL jacket.
