It's a glove box damper assembly and a glove box stopper.

On many Hondas the cabin air filter is located behind the glove box. When the filter gets replaced at Jiffy Lube or wherever, sometimes the tech is too lazy or doesn't know how to put them back.

Sure. This is the one I bought:

Note that it comes with fuse box diagrams, but they were incorrect. I was able to take the diagram off the old cover and put it on the back of the new door.

I bought this tray that goes inside your middle console.

Hey, welcome to the family!

Glad you are loving your Q. I joined back in April with my 2015 Black Q50S. Couldn't be happier with it!

Here are a couple accessories you might be interested in, since before long you'll start to wonder where all the in-car storage is! The one downside to the Q50 (apart from the IT system) is the small amount of storage inside the car.

I'm not the seller in either of these links, btw. I bought these myself and have found them incredibly useful.

Also, here's a good lookin' key fob I picked up that looks pretty snazzy! (Again not the seller.)

The glovebox hinges on the B6/7 A4 are a known weakness.

My 08 glovebox door looks and functions fine, but the door side hinge is starting to break. So there is a chance on a 10 year old car that it was starting to go.

The DIY repair kits are under $10.

>Best seat covers?

Get permaplate option, this will cover external and interior. Enjoy the seats without seat covers, I did put a seat cover so the baby car seat was on the cover.

>Best dash cams?

I really want this dash cam Blackvue DR590, saving up for one.

>Charging cable ok in weather?

I have been doing research on Chargepoint level 2 home charger. Its weather proof and if you install the 220v 32A version you can charge your car in 2 hours.

>Battery efficiency on the highway?

I only had my Prius Prime for a week now, hybrid works well. Drive in B mode and plan out your trips so you can charge at your destination. For example, we started to go to Target because they have a Chargepoint station. We shop for about 2 hours and by the time we get back to the car is fully charged. We can do all of our shopping using EV only.

>Toyota service centers only?

I got the extended maintenance plan so yes for me only Toyota service.

>Get that extended warranty or no?

I got the 7 year extended maintenance because I already know how much the dealer ship will charge for normal maintenance. I just want to have the peace of mind knowing everything is covered and did not want to deal is any issues. Plus if you get it during purchase I believe its at a bigger discount. Because I sign up for it the dealer ship gave me LoJack for free and 72 month financing 0 APR.

>Any reassurance that I made the right choice not waiting for the 2018?

I was thinking the something, at the moment you have a big advantage because they are trying to sell off the rest of the 2017 to make room for the 2018 models. I want to say you have more power to haggle, for example I was able to get 72 month 0 APR financing, free LoJack and $3000 off the asking price because I mention the local special and because I was prior military.

Additional accessories:
Black License Plate Frame
Auto Document Case
Neck Pillow
No Rinse Wash & Wax

Congratulation on the new car!

Center console tray in my 2015 Q50.

Why didn't it come with one from the factory?

Since the wifey had the 9 speaker system, I used one of these in hers to add Wireless Charging.

Mine only has the 6 speaker system, so I used this for mine. Found one of these at a pull-a-part for $5.

For each setup I just found a Wireless Charger on Amazon with multiple contact pads, then disassembled it, and hot glued everything to the underside of the cubby & tray. And then ran power were it needed to go. The tray was easiest since there is a USB plug underneath of it. For the cubby, I just ran an add-a-fuse behind the dash, to a spot in the fuse box that had constant power (wanted it to charge the phone even if the car was off, but the Wireless Charger doesn't actually draw power unless the phone is placed on the charging pads.)

8mm and 10 mm socket and 3 rivets are non-reusable. Plus you need to reorder 3 parts. https://www.amazon.com/Genuine-BMW-Expanding-Rivets-1977-2010/dp/B006MNBOJK

1 hour tops even if its your first time. You will need a bucket to catch the old washer fluid once you take the pump off. The video above from the first comments should explain everything.

Ops my bad didn’t give you the video. https://youtu.be/4udbbXoVd6o
Don’t Jb Weld just replace it.

I bought a nice organizer from ebay before. It's no longer shoing in my history but it was something like this - https://www.amazon.com/High-Road-Document-Glove-Organizer/dp/B000HZRTDE

It is leather and holds everything I need in my glove box.
