Imgur separated the link for some reason, so here is the Amazon link in case anyone is interested in purchasing! Yes it's also Prime. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00VF344X0/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1

(Also apologies for the horrible text-on-words.. I did this quickly on mobile. I hope it'll suffice lol)

It's 12 lip liners for $8.43 (and 2 day shipping for Prime people) by the way, not $8.43 per pencil. I honestly think $9 for 12 different colors is a great deal. Definitely not all the colors in the rainbow but there's some staple shades in there like a variety of pinks, nudes, and browns!

And for Canadians this set is $17.99 but not prime. Still a good deal though. View Here.

Forgive my dry lips. I had a matte lip cream on all day before trying on Train Bleu and my lips were already super dry. And I sorta just slathered it all over my lips in excitement. (But seriously, how could I not?!)

Overall, I was impressed with Nude Tude. The shadows are super soft. However, the first four don't show up on my pale skin very well. Those swatches are not on a primer though, so maybe with a base they'll show up better on the lids. The only color that I was disappointed by was Silly, because it ended up being more of a glitter than a shimmer. In the pan it is a gorgeous dark maroon color with gold flecks. On the skin, the glitter was sorta large and chunky, as opposed to the gorgeous shimmers that the other colors have. I'm hoping that with a primer, or maybe applied wet, it will have a better payoff.

Train Bleu applied like a dream. It is really creamy, but I feel as though it might be drying. But I do expect that from a matte lipstick. The crayon is great, but I might find myself applying it with a lip brush. Since it's such a dark color, you have to be really careful to have nice precise lines, or it will be noticed. (i.e. see my lips upclose when you don't apply it carefully.) It is a fantastic lipstick for fall though and I would definitely recommend it.

The NYX lip liners are a pencil form and they swatched nicely on the hand. I generally prefer lipliners that don't ahve to be sharpened, like the Rimmel Exaggerate liners, to those that do. They are swatched in this order: Pale Pink, Soft Brown, Nudge Beige, Ever, Mahogany, Coffee. They were purchased as a set for $11.85 (free shipping) from this seller on amazon

Let me know if you have any questions!

(Part 1/2)

Fitness wise: Along with r/Fitness, I would definitely recommend trying out "Sweat: Kayla Itsines Fitness" app. She has a bunch of workout routines/programs on the app. The best part is that you can slowly build up from your own fitness level and get to your goal essentially. Her workouts are amazing and I personally love it. Also, Jillian Michaels has some bomb workout videos out there and they show amazing results as well (though it is a little harder!)... 30 Day Shred is one of the best ones out there for sculpting your body!

Hair: I definitely like what notfitperson recommended. I like leave coconut oil on my hair/scalp for at least 1 hour before washing my hair... and on weekends, to take care of my split ends, dehydration and encourage hair growth, I generously apply a homemade hair serum overnight and wash in the morning/later in the afternoon. If I used a lot of hot tools/styling products during the week, I'll keep on the hair serum for 1-2 days to repair the damages. For the hair serum, I like to make it with: rosemary oil, castor oil, peppermint oil, and organic coconut oil. Also, I apply Lush hair masks every 2-3 weeks. I love those ones because they are made from natural ingredients and I store them in the fridge. I even use the castor oil and coconut oil that I linked on my lashes every night before bed... if you do it religiously on both top and bottom lashes every night, you will have longer, fuller and healthier lashes! Castor oil is amazing for hair growth/repair, but it has a really thick consistency ... you gotta mix it with a light oil like coconut oil or olive oil!!!

Makeup:

If you have a limited budget, I would honestly hold off on getting luxury makeup right away and practice with drugstore brands first. Then upgrade!

Eyes/Brows:

I would get one neutral palette for everyday looks.

Brow pencils/gel/pomade ...ABH is the best out there, but the most expensive

Mascara: Better Than Sex by Too Faced is one of the best out there. A dupe that is comparable to that mascara that is cheaper and also a really good quality is the L'Oreal Paris mascara. It is amazing!

Lips:

Nude/pinkish lipstick for everyday looks - Dulce Vita by Nars is a popular one and it has a blue-ish undertone which helps your teeth appear whiter (bonus!)

Classic, matte red lipstick that is good for everyday, date night or special occasion looks - Cruella by Nars is bomb!!! It looks good on everyone! I have yet to meet someone who doesn't look good in it! Totally worth the investment!

Pencil lip liner - Definitely get this (in a color closely matching your lipstick color)... because it helps reduce the lipstick from bleeding onto somewhere around your lips and helps keep your lipstick stay put!

Lip gloss - Buxom, Milani L'Oreal and L.A. Colors have really great, high shine ones!

*Exfoliate your lips using sugar and Vaseline OR sugar and olive oil to remove the dead skin before applying any lipstick... especially matte lipsticks! It hydrates your lips and makes a huge difference + prevents the cracked lips with lipstick look ...cannot emphasize this enough! Also, before starting your makeup... apply Vaseline/chapstick on your lips and do your lips last.*

To be honest a lot of Benefit products suck. They tend to be gimmicky or cute with packaging or selling a product you don't really need. (A-hem.) But when they do have a great product, they really do have a great product. I really love High Beam and their Big Beautiful Eyes palette.

Sometimes I can't wait to be able to afford an expensive brand so I like to try out the super (cheaper than a drugstore) cheap stuff. I also don't like using my expensive stuff for day to day stuff like work.

I got this 12 pack on Amazon and was inspired to swatch it after a user did the exact same thing on here yesterday (i can't find the post to link to it).

Overall, for £5.99 for the whole pack i'd say they're pretty decent. The texture after applying isn't as dry as the high-end brands so it's not as long lasting but they have made it through a bowl of soup, bottle of water and a cup of coffee today.

The colour on the tip of the pencils don't reflect what actually comes out so I'll have to refer to this swatch every time I want to use one. I was actually a little sad before this swatch because I thought I had a bunch of duplicates because of the colour on the pencils. But as you can see, there's alot of variety in colour and they're all colours i'd use.

I’m so glad I can help out! For eyes, I would start with those three items you mentioned. I’ve found mascara pretty tricky because my lashes are pretty thin. False eyelashes are hugely impactful though; I’d highly recommend those. Using them is convenient too and cuts out the need for mascara for the most part, except for maybe your lower lashes. Also, don’t be afraid to try a little lipstick! If you were to buy a lip liner pencil (the good ones are $5 or so), you can overdraw or adjust your lip shape into what you want, then fill in with it or lipstick/other lip paints. If that isn’t for you, a little bit of lip gloss goes a long way.

Also, for makeup, look up tutorials on YouTube. Whenever I’m unsure about literally anything, I can find a video tutorial for it. You can search for specific products, and there will likely be videos that tell you the nitty gritty like “this specific product from this brand has extra shimmer to it, so don’t go overboard with it.” The other day I had problems putting on lipstick neatly at the corners, and watching a 2-minute video helped immensely. Seeing it being done is so useful.

Having long hair must be awesome! I’ve been growing mine out and for the first time ever went for more than three months without a haircut. You definitely know way more than I do when it comes down to managing long hair, although I will say that investing in a curling iron if you don’t already have could probably make a significant difference, allowing for total versatility. Other than that, I bet it looks glorious on you! Hope to see how everything works out for you 😊 If you find that any of this is helpful, don’t hesitate to message my inbox. And once again, enjoy your stay here in our little subreddit!

My toddler is two this Halloween and we weren't going to do anything spooky scary and it just isn't in the cards this year, but I was wanting to dress up like a flapper. I wanted to go the whole nine yards with the dress, the hair (I have a short bob), shoes, makeup and even a cigarette holder. My toddler, I was going to dress him up in a zoot suit, slick back his baby fine blonde hair, shine up those shoes and have his candy bag look like a money bag. Then for my husband I was wanting him to dress up as an old school detective. Hopefull next year :/

I were picked I would love to try this puppy out.

Hey I've got a chinchilla too!! Just had to share. Anyway, we've got 3 cats, 6 rabbits, a bearded dragon, a chinchilla, a hamster, and the squirrel comes into the house to get peanuts^totallyserious. So here is a photo of my Mom's cat Zoey. We rescued her from the shelter about 9 years ago. Zoey is scared of everyone and everything and basically lives her life on my mom's bed. Here is a rare moment of her killin it and a good reason to love her. She's really tough, she promises.

EDIT: space for item link.......Item!

Ok so I'd normally never recommend such a lame brand but honestly Mary Kay makes a clear lip liner I really like. $6 on Amazon.

It works great, no color at all. I'm sure other brand makes the same thing but the Mary Kay one is good.

  1. I just got back last night from a weekend away with friends, so my day has been filled with three very attention hungry kitties!

  2. I'd love to find a new renter this week. My SO and I can afford to rent on our own, but money's tight and we'd love some more wiggle room financially.

  3. A) I'm going to go through my full skincare routine today, and put on minimal makeup. B) I'll be getting online later today to play games with my brother since I don't see him very often...Skype and games are our bonding times! C) When I go grocery shopping later today, I will not be buying any ready-made type foods or anything unnecessarily sugary or salty. When I do eat those foods, they make me feel so sick!

    4.Just a little lip liner!

Now as for the prop, I actually commissioned that, I did nothing to it but hot glue it when it broke at con (PRECIOUS BABYYYY). My friend Jarrett made it, whose Facebook is here (and as far as I know he doesn't have a comission page or anything so it's his personal facebook): https://www.facebook.com/jarret.dodge

Hey there! I want this or this

You should DEFINITELY bake this Guinness Chocolate Cake. My SO's mom made it and he said it was incredible.

u/[deleted] · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

I would love this lip pencil(preferably from the seller BlueScandal because they're amazing)

u/trustmidaddy · 1 pointr/muacjdiscussion

[here's the link.] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VF344X0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) you can also just search "italia lip liners" and you'll get various price points etc

u/alchademy · 1 pointr/MakeupAddiction

For the lip liner issue, this set is good, especially for the price.

u/PackedSatisfaction · 1 pointr/MakeupAddiction

I got this set of 12 lipliners on Amazon, that works awesome and was super cheap. But lip liners are also one of the areas of makeup I go cheaper on.

u/p_iynx · 1 pointr/RandomActsofMakeup

I am wishing for this one! I badly need lip stuff. :/

You're so sweet to do Wishful Wednesday. <3

u/misserinmay · 1 pointr/RandomActsofMakeup

Well now I'm coveting your collection and I LOVE that Sephora Deep Berry! Hah. Lips are my obsession.

I have this Nabi collection of lipliners that I use as lipsticks--and need to get on swatching because they're actually really awesome.

But what's really made me think OMG I NEED ALL OF THESE is this. Sigh All the colors are gorgeous, and I'm in the process of saving up for the full set rather than buying them individually. :)

u/airbubble · 1 pointr/RandomActsofMakeup

Happy birthday! :D

If it was my birthday, I'd ask for the Meet Matte Nude Palette from the Balm because I adore matte shades and have very few, and probably the Nyx Wonder Pencil because I've heard great things!

It's my party!

u/BoobMcGoob · 1 pointr/RandomActsofMakeup

This lip pencil would be awesome! I've never used one, but I have been wanting to try a lip liner. :) Nude sounds like a good color to start with.

u/Roses88 · 1 pointr/RandomActsofMakeup

Well that was easy

u/pukebear · 1 pointr/RandomActsofMakeup

Here's the add on!

hopscotch

And here's me making a dumb face

Thanks for the contest!

u/ellyrose- · 1 pointr/RandomActsofMakeup

I'm in Canada, I've never won a contest or been glammed :P

I'm Lana and I absolutely love this community, I look forward to talking to everyone in chat everyday! I don't have any real life girlfriends - or at least none that are interested in makeup. I really love all of you ladies, you're all so inspiring and so friendly! I also really enjoy doing contest makeup or makeup in general on cam with other girls, I always learn something new! ♥♥

Sigh, nothing on amazon.ca or it's either 3x the price ;(

I'd like either a little spatula to scoop out any product (I still need a metal mixing palette but I'll get one eventually) or this NYX lip liner because I only have 1 lip liner and it's clear.

I'm sorry that none are eligible for prime, Canada just sucks :(
