It’s a pintail. I googled pintail and found what looks like this exact board on amazon.

Of the boards on sale today with prime day, what's the best one for cruzing? I loved my rimable 41 Inch Drop Deck Complete Longboard, but they don't make those anymore. Any suggestions?

Complete newbie to skating, and I'm trying to choose between a longboard, electric longboard, and skateboard. I'm looking for optimal choices for each then picking one between the three candidates. For longboards, I'm looking for a quiver-killer with a design that isn't... ya know, flashy? Most of the stuff at my local shops and on MuirSkate seem to be really in-your-face designs, whereas the blue geometry and dark blue shinning sky designs from B BAIJIAWEI are really nice.

I guess what I'm asking is, how good of a brand is B BAIJIAWEI and how would I kinda work backwards to find a really good, long-lasting, beginner-friendly quiver-killer with an equally nice design?

EDIT: my computer shat itself and posted half of a comment

This one. Much cheaper than the ones you mentioned: https://www.amazon.com/Street-Surfing-Longboard-Casterboard-Carving/dp/B074X9ZGRJ
I have the shorter version which is even cheaper. The reason I recommend a castering nose wheel is that you are forced to turn more from the back foot lest you stall, which is similar to how a surfboard works. But be advised it is more wobbly and less forgiving than the Carver.

Hello,

My 8 year old is quite good with roller skates, but wanted to start longboarding. I was just about to place an order on amazon... but before doing that a quick google search (pointed to reddit) revealed that I should stay away from that store.

Is there a beginners longboard that you would recommend under $100?...

Are these considered garbage for amateurs?

Hey, I'm glad you found the infamous "Computa Pranksta". That's awesome! I hope you enjoy it. It's far from a perfect product but it does the job most of the time.

As for the charge adapter, here is a preliminary listing on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/eRCaGuy-Electric-Skateboard-Charger-Adapter/dp/B07KNN9PZZ/ref=olp_product_details?_encoding=UTF8&me=. If you'd like one, I'm currently selling the kits (you must solder it together yourself) for $25 with free shipping, or $35 for the pre-assembled version. You'd have to do the purchase direct through me over PayPal. You could do a PayPal "donation" to me here (https://www.electricrcaircraftguy.com/2016/01/contribute.html) for the right amount and make sure your address is correct and all, and make a note what it's for, and I'll mail it out. I only ship once a week though, and this product is guess what?--also not perfect.

I only have 1 pre-assembled version in stock right now, but quite a few kit versions. I'm in the process of a re-design but don't know when it will be complete. The current version as shown on Amazon requires a 4" jumper wire on the back due to a missing trace (done for your on the pre-assembled version of course), and if you use two chargers at once can get pretty smoking hot: way too hot to touch, but still within operating limits of the components. If you think this is for you feel free to make an order. Here's a couple photos: https://photos.app.goo.gl/ob95f5xUcx1QkubB6.

Also, for anyone assembling your own: I have a 30 minute video showing me doing the entire assembly process that I can put on YouTube. It's an unedited video as that's not a skill I have yet (video editing), but it's better than nothing.

Is this longboard too sketch for a beginner who's only interest is cruising(yes, pintail)? If not, is there a go to board that I should check out in that range?

Hey everyone, I recently bought an electric longboard and have fallen in love with cruising around on it...and so has my sister. Can't complain - it's a great way to bond but we only have one board. She (and I too) want a traditional board to go along with the eboard. We want something that is easy to push around on, balance on, and cruise around on. I know neither of us are ever going to be bombing hills or anything like that lol. Also under $200, preferably closer to $150 (and on amazon)

Really like the design of this [Arbor Dropcruiser] (https://www.amazon.com/Arbor-Dropcruiser-Premium-Complete-Longboard/dp/B01DEQ95R0/ref=pd_day0_200_2?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B01DEQ95R0&pd_rd_r=0BJ2CYG7D6PJ295JKQXE&pd_rd_w=Bm6XK&pd_rd_wg=T7DpC&psc=1&refRID=0BJ2CYG7D6PJ295JKQXE) and it seems like it's a fairly well received board from my short time researching it on here. Also considering this board too. Not sure if one style is easier or better than the other for our needs. Or a completely different brand might be better. Any comments or recommendations, let me know. Thanks

Ok, thanks a lot again hahah. before buying anything, I watched some videos and I found that board, which is not that much expensive : https://www.amazon.com/Arbor-Zeppelin-Longboard-Complete-Graphics/dp/B0765R871N (and I don't know if it"s the same than this one : https://www.amazon.com/Arbor-Zeppelin-Premium-Longboard-Complete/dp/B01DL1NVVY

Did you think this board is actually cool ? Or should I go higher ?

Is Longboard faster than a razor scooter on flatland?

I was wondering if an experienced longboarder can go faster than a razor scooter (kick scooter, non-electric) on flat land?

I am looking to commute thru heavy downtown traffic and trying to choose between a chinese Amazon longboard (under $60) or a $60 Razor Carbon Lux $60

This is my current longboard:
