I can vouch for this one. This particular listing is out of stock but I believe you can find it from other sellers. It packs flat between uses and I find it sturdy enough to completely fill up every slot without issue.

Hey there! I know this isn't exactly what you were looking for but hopefully it'll help all the guys n gals looking to get their ladies the ultimate beauty station! As a professional makeup artist for MAC, Chanel and multiple other brands plus freelancing for years I have gotten many ideas over the years!
Be sure to get her plenty of storage if she has a lot of products and tools. Amazon/ Ebay also sell an electric brush cleaner now which is perfect for gals with a ton of brushes. My bro-in-law did the same project & I still have all the links. He installed lights (like these below) around my beauty-obsessed sister's makeup mirror & they're great. I also recommend a mirror that pulls out from the wall (like hotels have!) And a comfy & stylish chair is a must to make her feel like her fave beauty vlogger. Also, get crafty- you can always think of other ways to use these ideas for ex: instead of buying new, repurpose some cool vintage pieces!
Here are some useful, girl-dream links-

For makeup, I'd recommend just sticking to items sold directly from the company or sold and shipped by Amazon. theBalm Cosmetics is available on Amazon and I love their face products (Mary Lou Highlighter, The Desert Bronzer, Instain/Boy Blushes). Sleek Makeup is also available which is great since they're not readily available in the US. I recommend their eyeshadows, face products (highlight, blush, contour kit) and their liquid lipsticks.

I also like buying makeup tools and organizers from Amazon. A few that I've personally bought and love:

I have the egg brush cleaner. But I just recently bought this mat and prefer using this over the egg :) It's a lot faster for me :) It has sections for eye brushes and face brushes. And it comes with a small version which is similar to using the egg. Hope this helps!

Like this? Or this?

u/Ilikep0tatoes · 3 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

It's called MS.DEAR Color Removal Sponge. Here's the link.

Edit: link isn't working on mobile. I can fix it when I get home if you can't find it! Sorry

u/birthday-party · 2 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

I answered someone else with this link, but I got this brush cleaner from Amazon and am evangelical about it. Cleans and dries extremely fast. It'll spin the bristles out, but a quick squish will reshape your newly dry brush.

I use the StylPro Brush cleaning device with Johnsons Baby soap for my fluffy brushes, but my firmer brushes (like eyeliner brushes or shader brushes) I run under warm water with said baby soap and a silicone pad that slips over my fingers to work the product out of the brush.

I wash my beauty sponges after every use with the Beauty Blender soap solid that I got as a point perk from Sephora.

Since the StylPro spins the brushes dry, those brushes go back into their places and the ones I hand wash I hang over the edge of my desk to dry overnight.

It was bought for me as a gift and unfortunately has no branding on it anywhere. Mine looks identical to this one . However I know for a fact this model is sold by many different Chinese distributors and I wouldn’t pay $30 for it when there are cheaper alternatives that do the same thing.

i don't have the brush glove, but i do have the sigma spa mat, the ulta thing, and a set from amazon. the ulta mitt is by far the worst, but the one from amazon is very comparable to sigma in terms of texture and flexibility.

I own something like this. It's not always the most practical tool, but it works well

I think I found mine at TJ Maxx but this one's basically the exact same thing

I did take a look at the brushes you linked! I have no experience with those myself, but I would still be a little wary of buying more brushes as her gift. I highly recommend the Real Techniques brushes so many others have suggested and I also like the IT Cosmetics brushes - you can find both at Ulta. Maybe get her a gift card for Ulta/Sephora/Morphe for brushes so she can pick them out herself? It would be hard to guess exactly which brushes she would pick out for herself and since she's already gone and purchased a set for herself you won't make that purchase redundant!

As far as other makeup 'gear' goes, the beauty blender u/Balea48 recommended is a good one! They're a staple in a lot of people's makeup bags for good reason. Some things I've also looked into getting for myself recently are cleaning mats like this one from Amazon and this really cool drying rack for makeup brushes from Amazon. I don't know how she stores her makeup permanently, but I'm also a big fan of acrylic or plastic cosmetic organizers like this.

I just got mine in the mail, but mine was $7 here:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MT1MX3M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_znDQyb7NP1SAE

Haven't had a chance to use it yet though.

I've never made a link before so I just copy and pasted from Amazon and am hoping for the best lol. only $1.29!

Edit: I actually wasn't aware this is called an "egg". When I read other people saying egg I imagined a egg shaped bar of soap

Once a week is probably best, but this is coming from the girl who has not cleaned her eyeshadow brushes and sometimes just buys a new one so I don't have to deal lol. Do as I say not as I do lol.

One thing you can do is get a color switch. It's basically a container with a rough black sponge that you can rub your brush against to get the color out. With this, I can use one brush to switch from bright pink to yellow to purple without muddying the colors ad it helps them stay cleaner a little longer. Here is a cheap one I found on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Zodaca-Removal-Brushes-eyeshadow-application/dp/B01IQUBYGE/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_194_lp_t_3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=G5B60MX5JP8466VZW8TQ

Even just using a paper towel during the week can help to rub the color out.

u/Nekkosan · 1 pointr/AsianBeauty

I use it. I start dry and press to break it up the makeup (didn't read the instructions) and then add a bit of water and press more and then keep rinsing. You need a good bit. You can do it again even though it's not dry.

It works great for brushes. I pour on the brush or on one of these and rub the brush in it, then wet the thingy and swirl the brush against it and then put both under water and rinse.

I HIGHLY recommend this Ecotools eyeshadow brush set: http://www.target.com/p/ecotools-174-eye-enhancing-duo-brush-set/-/A-51249388

It has everything you need at a great price. The crease brush is perfect. The regular applying brush is perfect. There's also an eyeliner brush if you like using eyeshadow for that. They are soft and good quality. I like them more than my much-more-expensive It Cosmetics brushes, and I actually feel like buying a second set now that you mention it.

If you've already got an Amazon order going, also invest in one of these: https://www.amazon.com/Simple-Switch-Makeup-Removing-Sponge/dp/B01H7NIBO4/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1496169795&sr=8-1&keywords=eyeshadow+changing

You can probably get it at a cheaper price, but it's fantastic because it allows you to switch colors on the same brush frequently, rather than washing them all the time.

For cleaning my brushes, I use these silicone makeup brush scrubbers that you can find at Winners and Marshall’s, or Ross and TJ Maxx in the U.S.
Keep an eye out for anything that looks like this: https://www.amazon.com/Silicone-Makeup-Cleaning-Butterfly-Scrubber/dp/B01ENMGK8Q
It does an amazing job of really thoroughly cleaning your brushes with just soap and water. It’s also very inexpensive.
