Danner Tachyon

I’ve been wearing these for almost a year now in a hot, humid environment and they have held up great. They run a tad bit small, smallest size they have on amazon is a men’s 3. I’d say order 2 pairs, the size you need and half a size bigger and return the one you don’t want. A little on the big side is ok, you can double up on socks if you need to and you’ll have a little room for account for foot swelling.

i've been looking at these rothco boots for awhile but if i wear these at my school i'll get shat on by half the people there. i've also been wanting to pick up a pair of Enfin Leve cargos but i'd probably get the same shit from people. When i wear my fucking Flax's i get shit from people ho say they just look like Timbs.

Blizzard just hit and campus is covered in snow/ice/slush. All I have are sneakers, jodphurs, and redwings, none of which I want to use to trek through this icy hell. Snow boot recs that arent bean boots? (I dont like the aesthetic) Been looking at these but other suggestions are welcome.

I picked up a pair of these boots from a store. They were a return and I paid something like $50. They are damn fine boots. I wear them for doing outdoor stuff and day hikes.

For the most part they don't have the "I CONCEAL CARRY" look as long as you are in the right environment.

I have a friend that had a 5.11 duffel bag in Iraq and Afghanistan with him and it's been a great bag, but again not something I am going to be carrying the gym.

Depending on your size: Under Armour Men's FNP Military and Tactical Boot, 728/Coyote Brown, 12 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06X9FDBBS/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_OGmjDb0SG2W8Y

I got mine for under $100 shipped.

Current British Army issue boots are brown which means the black ones tend to be older stock and the cheaper used ones may not be in brilliant condition. The soles seem to wear out pretty quickly. I prefer the all black leather look so I replaced some worn out British Army boots with some [French Army ones] (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01M9EZXZM/). Pretty chunky but they saved me from a badly twisted ankle when I got shunted a couple of weeks ago.

I don’t really understand what zero drop is, but my wife bought me these for Christmas and they fit like sneakers. They’re waterproof and sturdy with zero break-in. Did I mention the price is right?
HQ ISSUE Men's Talos Waterproof 8" Side-Zip Tactical Boots, Sage, 13D https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XCG52L3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_4J5JAbQR806D1

I've been wearing these and I don't recommend them for running. On the bright side, because I have to wear tall socks with them, I've learned to appreciate New Balance crew socks which I can tuck my running pants into and keep my ankles from getting drafty. Can't do that with a no show sock!

Personally, I wear boots for the added ankle support and don't really think about toe protection much, but I'm not frequently moving cases and heavy things so not top priority. That being said I wear the [Under Armour side zip boots] (https://www.amazon.com/Under-Armour-Mens-Valsetz-Side/dp/B01M5K23CZ) and the Nike Downshifter 7s. Both are super comfy and the boots breath very well while offering more protection than my nikes.

Boots? I'd go boots over shoes especially since fields can be really muddy in the spring or after rainfall. These are the boots I use. They're relatively inexpensive, durable, and comfortable with a pair of thick socks. They can be a pain to break in so I'd suggest getting a pair of boot socks.

For my black loadout, I went for a SWAT style loadout. You might be able to use something similar for PMC. I got this shirt and these pants. They haven't ripped with all my sliding around and are very breathable.

I bought these boots specifically for last year's burn. Relatively inexpensive, comfortable, super lightweight, and supportive. I've worn them nearly every day since and they're still going strong. One of the best purchases I've ever made.

They're also pretty good riding boots.

Buy good boots. Danner Arcadia. Yes they are expensive but they will last years. I can get about 10,000 miles on them before needing new soles. which luckily they are recraftable so you won't need totally new boots. I have had one summer and one winter pair for 7 years. got new soles on them once and that was recently.

Next, get good true boot socks. NOT work socks. Fox River, Either go medium weight or heavy weight. Buy a pair for each day of the week you will need them. then you will only have to wash them once on your weekend.

They are both summer socks but the heavy weights will help in the winter.

Danner makes a steel toe variant of the Arcadia and recon. avoid them unless you are in a rough area and need the extra metal for a fight.

I wore the Steel toe variants and could walk 20 miles in a 10 hour shift, do that for 5-6 days a week for months and have zero foot pain.

If you absolutely can not afford the boots get the socks. they are very important. The proper padding will make a huge difference alone.

One other thing. Get shoe deodorizers if you walk a lot. leave them closed when you put them in every night and they will help will odar a ton.

Cheaper on Amazon.

These are the boots I wear.

But seeing your price range, it will be hard to find something around the price you're looking at, new.

Here you go.

Instead of buying combat-inspired boots, why not buy actual combat/tactical boots? They cost a fraction of the price, are more durable (and well tested), and frankly some of them look way better than these. Here are a couple of pics of boots from Different brands, but keep in mind there are many more options out there, especially if you're looking for a boot that isn't that bulky
