You gotta blend it! Or get yourself one of those little handheld frothers

u/acedelgado · 7 pointsr/electronic_cigarette

I'm a fan of Bull City Flavors- http://www.bullcityflavors.com/
They have pretty much every flavor from all of the major companies, plus pg and vg for a fair price. Also have a 6% discount code - VU6.

You'll also need some nicotine from either Nude Nicotine or Vape Clarity. I like getting it in 100% VG to help cut down on VG usage.

You'll also need a scale accurate to .01 gram - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005UGBG20/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Mixing beakers - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AU6Y6X6/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

PET bottles - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Plastic-Squeezable-Dropper-Bottles-5-10-20-30-50ml-Liquid-Juice-E-Eye-PET-USA-/182439458891?var=&hash=item2a7a3d384b:m:mzrhDE22jYZfB8vMJhsQZiA

And very importantly, a milk frother that will mix your juice in under 30 seconds and save your sanity vs trying the shake method- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0158P72L6/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&th=1

Then go find yourself some juice recipes that look tasty to you- http://e-liquid-recipes.com/
And install the "ejuice me up" program to do all of the calculations for you-
http://ejuice.breaktru.com/

And you'll need the weights from this thread to put into the ejuice me up settings- https://www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/comments/2iq3km/botboy141_guide_to_mixing_by_weight/

This is also a great starting point to read how to mix by weight. Or if you're a visual person here's a fan-freaking-tastic guide on it - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-RdboUVCROs

So yeah, you're looking at a $100-150 investment to start off with, depending on how many flavors you order. But then the juice is a few cents per ML instead of like, a dollar+. Most of your cost from then on will be replacement bottles and VG and flavoring.

Girl. If you drink dairy milk, buy a milk frother.

I’ve been experimenting with different combos, almond works pretty well but 1/4 cup 2% milk with 1 teaspoon monk fruit crystallized “sugar” (red bag from Costco, 0 cals) put in a frother turns a boring coffee into a creamy healthy masterpiece.

I use it every day and love it.

Edited to add - this is similar time mine, makes both hot and cold foam.

u/PoorlyRemembered · 5 pointsr/Coffee

The Aeropress! - An Aeropress can create a very concentrated coffee beverage that is similar in body and flavor to a shot of espresso.

Add a milk frother - Milk Frother! - and BOOM! Cappuccino-ish drink.

u/Kritios_Boy · 5 pointsr/Coffee

I found this similar item for less than half the price. Very tempting.

$300 bucks for which machine? With espresso, the grinder is generally the most important piece of equipment. If you are happy with the moka pot, then a better milk steamer/frother might be all you need. Something like this - https://www.amazon.com/Functionality-Automatic-Stainless-Cappuccino-Macchiato/dp/B07D71SP6K

I have a device like the powerlix but only used it for cold milk frothing for iced coffee. I don't think it would work great for hot milk.

u/ArtsyKitty · 3 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Honestly, my favorite one is the one in my shop.. but that's like a $4,000 industrial machine haha. I do have this one though and it's been working very well for me as a frother!

I also have a friend who got this and she absolutely loves it! I used to have another one but I would have to look around for it because I forgot the name of it. I will let you know the name though!

u/wh1skeyk1ng · 3 pointsr/DIY_eJuice

I went and got a $20 milk frother when I first started mixing a couple years ago. Works great if you're making a recipe to split and vape immediately. I used the shit out of mine. Any more, I just mix it in the bottle, shake it, and encourage a proper steep. It's a fun toy, but I cannot say it makes things any better than an intense 30 second handshake and a week or two in the cupboard.

Edit: Can't even find a link to what I have, but most similar models now sell for $8-13
This is as close as I can find.

u/VeviserPrime · 3 pointsr/keto

I've always used one of these and it blends it very nicely right in the mug!

u/Aspirin_Dispenser · 2 pointsr/news

Do it.

My sister got me a stovetop espresso maker and this nifty little milk frother for Christmas and its absolutely phenomenal. $35 worth of equipment along with your choice of milk and espresso ground coffee and you can have lattes, cappuccinos, americanos, shots, or wherever else you like all in your own home.

u/MrFibs · 2 pointsr/Vaping

Oh honey, no. Mix by weight. Don't be silly.
_____
This scale has been hella dece for me, and I think it's recommended on /r/DIY_eJuice. Get yourself some griffin beakers, fuck graduated cylinders. And then get yourself one of these babies. I was a little skeptical about the milk frothers and the viscosity of VG, but no, the frothers can probably deal with liquids at least twice as viscous as VG. Works like a hot damn. For recipes and batch tracking, I use alltheflavors[.com] myself, I never have to do any sort of math. You can just find any old recipe people have shared on there, and then just buy the flavours you need and go to town.

u/EarnestWilde · 2 pointsr/tea

I've been using this one for the last 6 months or so with my tea lattes and it works extremely well. Hot or cold frothing with LOTS of froth. Cleans up easily. Quick as well.

Our next step up is a professional one, but those cost about $125 with only minor improvements in performance (mostly allowing you to do many lattes in a row without a cool-down period).

u/gynecomastiman · 2 pointsr/Fitness

My roommate has a milk frother that I've started using to mix my protein shakes and it opened up a whole new world of mixing. Quick, easy to clean, and perfectly dissolved.

I imagine you'd already have it but more gloves never hurt anyone.

transfer pipettes?

a coworker suggested this milk frother to me.

u/hciwdnassybra · 2 pointsr/IWantToLearn

This is by far the easiest and cheapest way to make “fancy” coffee. Coffee snobs can spend hundreds to thousands of dollars on all this equipment that really isn’t necessary for regular people who would be happy with a Starbucks latte.

Here is a spice grinder that can be used for grinding coffee because fresh ground coffee tastes way better and you can control how fine it’s ground.
I suggest looking up a photo of how ground coffee should be for the “Moka pot”
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00004SPEU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_xH02DbEBEGM6D

Here is the “moka pot” I’ve found it’s the cheapest and easiest way to make something close to espresso. (It’s stronger than regular drip coffee but weaker than espresso, and it doesn’t have the brown foam that come on top of espresso)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000CNY6UK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_2F02DbAZHNRY3

Here is the milk frother that is a easier and cheaper way of making “steamed milk” (this isn’t exactly steamed milk because usually you need to put a steam wand into milk and use a technique to steam milk properly and it’s expensive and takes practice)
You just push a button and a minute later it’s done.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07V9HHMZM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_xG02DbC0AG7B5

The thing that really effects the flavor the most is getting good coffee! Maybe you could splurge on more expensive coffee that you save for dates, special occasions or when you want to feel fancy!

Once upon a time, is a very very populated city, there was a man named Frank. Frank had one dream. To pursue politics! Can you imagine that?! To become secretary of state? To become the Vice President? Maybe to some day be the President? But the thing is, Frank had problems. These problems were other politicians! Reporters! Bloggers! Personal Security people! Even //mistresses//! It's very hard being Frank. It's hard being frank so much that some time he even talks to himself, though some people just sometimes call that breaking a fourth wall. Frank likes to break the fourth wall.

The life if Frank is on Netflix, you'll find him under House of Cards. Frank's just a mis-understood man, with a hot wife, grey morals and... well, a pretty damn fine accent. I bet his wife would be kick ass at a yoga pants party. Also, I think Frank would approve me having this or a gift card. Either or!

Vote For Frank

Why not just get a manual press style frother? https://www.amazon.ca/Bodum-1446-Latteo-Milk-Frother/dp/B000BZ6BXE

You could also get a stove top steam wand.

u/Atlas26 · 1 pointr/Coffee

If you just want it for the steam wand and not espresso, get something like this, will work just as well

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00GTZYU88/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1426304058&sr=8-1&keywords=milk+steamer&pi=AC_SY200_QL40

u/sonorguy · 1 pointr/Coffee

Not yet. I've only had the flair for a week and have been focused on dialing in my straight espresso skills.

I'm eyeing this one on Amazon that's $25 off right now.

https://smile.amazon.com/Miroco-Dishwasher-Capacity-Stainless-Cappuccino/dp/B07S1V6LLM/ref=sr_1_1

It's induction heated and the insert is dishwasher safe. That won't get you super high quality microfoam and the reviews seem mixed on almond and oat milk.

A bellman steamer is probably the best option, but they take too long for me.

u/floralbomber · 1 pointr/TopSecretRecipes

I bought my husband an automatic milk steamer and frother for lattes, similar to this and he loves it :)

u/ozzyc_ · 1 pointr/Coffee

I've been using this for the past month and I'm very happy with it so far. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HH9BHL1/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apa_i_tPpXDb4DAH1NA

u/Noxull · 1 pointr/Coffee

Pretty much everyone has recommended the Moka pot to me so I'm probably going to buy this moka pot and this for the milk.

They're perfect for my price range and conveniently tiny since I'm only going to be making 1-2 cups at a time. Eventually I'll invest in something of much better quality and I'll get better at making coffee but for now I just need something temporary that will resemble espresso in the mornings.

Thanks for all the help!

u/poetker · 1 pointr/Coffee

Basically what i'm doing now. Except i'm not steaming it, just heating and frothing it in my frother.

https://www.amazon.com/Kuissential-Deluxe-Automatic-Frother-Cappuccino/dp/B00CBOADAA/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1485110750&sr=8-2-spons&keywords=kuissential+milk+frother&psc=1

Dump 4oz of moka pot into mug---> heat/froth milk+syrups in frother---> dump on top.

u/cellcultured · 1 pointr/Coffee

$9 frother: https://www.amazon.com/Bonsenkitchen-Electric-Cappuccinos-Chocolates-Stainless/dp/B07D9CRBBY/

Use instant coffee. Take 1.5-2 spoons of it and mix it with half a spoon of sugar in the cup you want to drink in. Add a few drops of water and stir like crazy with a spoon until you get a lovely brown paste. Add a few more spoons of water and stir until the color lightens to a blonde-espresso crema. Microwave half a cup of milk for 52 seconds and then use the frother to get as much foam as possible. Pour into the coffe cup. Enjoy a super tasty "latte"

u/meat_eating_midwife · 1 pointr/Coffee

The machines you get at retail stores are crap, and professional machines take a lot of maintenance. The Moka pot is honestly the best thing I’ve ever found. Get a good grinder and a milk frother/steamer and you’re golden. I got this steamer, I’m pretty happy with it

I got my mom the Breville and she loves it. It has a large capacity and is dishwasher safe but I'm not sure if it's worth the premium over the others. Prior to the Breville she had a Nespresso which lasted for at least four years of daily use.

The way I see it, either get a cheap, non-chinese frother like the Bodum or spring for the really nice stuff if you need the extra space/features. Otherwise I feel like you're just paying a premium for no real benefit.

u/Midgetforsale · 1 pointr/nespresso

I got this Bodum one at Target. It's been excellent. It seems like it could have literally come off the same line as the aeroccino but costs 70% less.

u/mr_miggs · 1 pointr/GiftIdeas

This is kind of specific but if she is into house music, does she use vinyl at all? Maybe a copy of one of her favorite tunes would be cool.

Coffee is an easy gift thing too. Chemex are cool. Maybe an electric milk frother, the kind that heat milk as well?

u/wedditer · 1 pointr/infertility

We lucked into one that was half price that we bought with our wedding registry gift cards. It's amazing! But a standalone milk frother is great too. You can get them on Amazon for $40.

My keto son just sent me a frother. I cannot wait to try it on egg whites and make meringues!

a pint glass and a handheld frother like this

u/Spandexgrunt · 1 pointr/AskCulinary

If you really want a good mixture with out an espresso machine get an electric whisker ( https://www.amazon.com/MatchaDNA-Handheld-Milk-Frother-Silver/dp/B0158P72L6/ref=pd_ys_sabia_6?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B018TCWL8O&pd_rd_r=YNTHA2ETZ8YYMF173ZSY&pd_rd_w=565Pb&pd_rd_wg=1aT45&refRID=YNTHA2ETZ8YYMF173ZSY&th=1 ) Something like this (I actually have this one and for the price it can not be beat. Then mix it with milk I suggest whole for taste but 2% will work just as well. Depending on the brand non dairy (soy almond etc etc) will not mix nearly as well.
Using this method you can make iced ones by pouring the after whisk solution over ice or by throwing it in a blender with ice. And when the cold season comes around you can heat the milk up with your preferred method of heating then mix it as well.
