The only reasonable solution is a fish mobile.

my son loves this one we got - http://www.amazon.com/Tiny-Love-Soothe-Groove-Mobile/dp/B005VDX2RO/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1395779279&sr=8-10&keywords=crib+mobile

we didn't use the mobile part for long because he didn't move into his crib (was in a pack-n-play in our room) until he was older, and then suddenly he was standing. However he looooves the music part, and you can take it out of the crib too.

Yep :) since my guy is not quite 5 months old we're good on that.

This is the arm I bought, and it's able to be put on the wall, too:

this is the closest I could find without being overly cheesy, like this one.

Edit: Scratch that, this is much cooler.

Here is some of the stuff we picked up for our daughter...

I used this one when my daughter was an infant and she just loved it. The music rotates so it doesn't get too repetitive and it's portable, which is very handy. And under $20, you can't beat the price.

My son is 12 weeks old, and I'm currently his favorite toy. My hair is fun to grab and pull, my thighs and boobs are great to kick, and my face is pretty hilarious.

Also these are pretty cool too..

I should find a link - u/secondtimeisacharm recommended registering for a Fisher Price mobile that has some nature sounds and white noise and a little projector built into it. It's also Bluetooth enabled, so if your in range (e.g. Bedroom is close
To baby's room), you can control it from an app on your phone. It seems awesome.

This should be it....

There's only one mobile you need and its the tiny love one with the black and white drawings on little discs and shapes that move around. I too had a major problem with mobiles after having my first two years ago. I was so passionate about it that my husband thought I was going crazy

Found a link Tiny Love Classic Mobile https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00DJQOREC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_kOrRCb403R5ZF
