It’s just one from amazon! I love it bc I mess up all the time so it’s nice to just take the pages out. I also use this hole punch which is amazing bc you can change the spacing so your pages can fit any binder you get! I got it for really cheap at a local Tuesday morning but you can also find it Michael’s and Joann’s and use a coupon it. And I love that too so that you can choose whichever paper you like in it.

Wait, did you recently make a video review on YouTube? Nice overview.

I was searching for something similar but I use Field Notes so I wound up with this:

Fits 2 Fiend Notes books in it.

That’s a good one, I use it for my sock drawer cc’s. And when I started to collect VGCs I bought a 1000-card binder, something like this one

I think on the first day I'd start out with a simple "padfolio" - something like this. Then I'd look around at what the other engineers are doing and move to something similar. You're not going to be carrying around a lot of stuff on your first day and there's a reason why the other folks are using whatever it is that they're using; it works. So don't run off and buy an expensive [whatever] when you don't even know that it's suitable/appropriate.

Wear a nice, but not-too flashy suit. If you need to get a suit, bring a fashionable girl to help you pick it out. Remember: not flashy.

3 or 4 days before the interview, get a good haircut at a decent salon (if you pay less than $25, you need a better salon).

Get a thin, black, leather portfolio. I prefer the ones that hold a small notepad, and are about the thickness of a 3-subject notebook. Bring 3 copies of all of your documents (resume, cover letter, reccomendations etc.), one copy for each of the interviewers, and one for yourself. Put several nice new pens in there.

When I sit for the interview, I walk in, shake hands, take my seat, drop open my portfiolio on the table, and open my uniball. I'm clearly ready for business.
Potential employers are looking for organization and confidence.

These things have always worked for me, for what it's worth.

I have not seen one like that for a letter size, let alone top-bound design. Have you considered pad folios? Here's an example. If that's too thick for you, another option might be using a plastic sleeve -- not really a cover, but works well for protection. It's similar to sheet protectors but opens at the top and a side so you can slip your papers in and out easily. Here's an example.

For starters, don't use 3-ring binders to store your cards. Those type of binders damage cards and are usually more of a pain to carry around. 3-ring binders also require you to buy inside pages separately and are generally top loading, which is a less safe way to store cards.

Most players use Ultra-Pro or Monster binders. Both of these brands of binder are side-loading, which will take some getting used to - but it's worth it.

Monster binders are premium quality and the interior pages protect cards well. However I've found that Monster binders don't last very long and the pages can tear relatively easily. They also don't hold up well in extreme heat/cold. A 9-pocket Monster binder will cost about $30.

The binder brand I use for all cards (collection and trade) is Ultra-Pro. Their binders are extremely durable and easy to carry. Ultra-Pro binders last a lot longer than Monster binders from my experience. The inside pages are matte, side-loading and protect cards well. You can get either a standard binder or a premium leather one for a few bucks more. I linked you to Amazon if you're looking to buy. A standard binder is $17, a premium one is $20.

Ultra-Pro Standard PRO-Binder (9-pocket green)

Ultra-Pro Premium PRO-Binder (9-pocket brown)

I would highly recommend looking into the Ultra-Pro binders for sorting your collection! And make sure to get the 9-pocket ones, they're the best value and most normal size.

Alright, thanks!

The cheaper one it is. It's this one in particular: http://www.amazon.com/Large-Organizer-Leather-Padfolio-LESSTM/dp/B009YAD266/ref=pd_sim_sbs_op_7

That would be fine right?

Most people call them padfolios. In my opinion they've been mostly useless to me, but they have been handy for multiple-round interviews and carrying copies of my resume around to multiple people. Get something in black or dark brown, as plain as possible.

Just don't be surprised if you don't need it at all during the interview. Throw a pen, some copies of your resume/transcript/whatever, and maybe a pad of paper.

You may need to do a little more digging, but these look like they might work

This is what I'm looking at getting at the mo. The main downside is that you get sent 3 colours randomly and they're all a bit bright haha.

How about a filofax style notebook system? I use one for work as both a day to day diary / task list then dividers with different sets of notes, plus a pre-punched note pad with tear off pages that I then file in the various sections

example: A5 Filofax style

An alternative would be to get a variation of a travlers notebook & have several thin notebooks, one per topic, collected together?

Here's what we ended up doing. We talked a lot about the pros and cons of buying a pack where you don't know exactly what you'll get and individual cards where you do. In the end, I bought my son the Mega Powers Collection Box (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06ZXVMWNR/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and a binder to store his cards (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00Y57AFCW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). My son loved this pack and the binder! My son also chose to use some of his own money to purchase four individual cards. He did a lot of research to decide on which cards he wanted to buy and to also make sure he was getting real cards, not fake ones (apparently this is an issue). It was fun watching him spend time searching around on Amazon to decide what to spend his money on. In the end, he picked four cards and is thrilled with them!

Good luck!

I can't really think of any A4 sized leather bound notebooks, but what I can recommend is a leather A4 Padfolio and a Rhodia pad. The No. 18 pad is lined, 3-hole punched, and has perforated pages.

This route is what I use for notes most of the time, and the best part is that it's refillable and customizable. Just about any Padfolio will work though, just make sure it's A4 sized or Letter sized. I'll see if I can dig up a link to my favorite inexpensive one for you. I'm currently on mobile, so I need to close this to find it.

Edit: [this](Case-it The Chief Padfolio with Letter Size Writing Pad, Black (PAD-20) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DQDEJ1E/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_Xx74wbF5NH76W) is my favorite sub-$20 Padfolio. I use this every day. Its tough, cheap, and has lots of pockets to store papers in. There are obviously better Padfolios out there, but as you may or may not know, they can get very pricey very quickly.

I'm all for SC merch! The more the merrier!

I've love to see an Executive Style Padfolio. Like this Leather Padfolio

The front could have a very small Star Citizen logo or Sq 42 logo and then inside it could come with a full 8.5 x 11 note pad with matching watermark and pen!

I was really disappointed with their card / post it note / pen thing. I want a full portfolio like the above.

u/jfuller82 · 1 pointr/AdventurersLeague

I bought a zipper binder and two pocket insertable tabs for it to hold all of my log sheets. Definitely makes things a lot more manageable.

u/confabulatrix · 1 pointr/NoStupidQuestions

I carry papers like this in a zippered portfolio like this. I have a nice leather one that I got for $1 at a yard sale. I see them all the time at thrift stores too.

[This] (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000NOXCRG/ref=wl_it_dp_v_nS_img?_encoding=UTF8&colid=HEWLHYQZ4GD&coliid=I3LUEI0LF38OGR&psc=1) awesome smelling candle. I bet it smells delicious! I know scents make me happy and I bet it might cheer you up a bit.

As for myself, [this] ( http://www.amazon.com/Executive-Zippered-Padfolio-Removable-PAD-40/dp/B007SQZE5U/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1397263541&sr=8-7&keywords=portfolio) portfolio would be really nice for my upcoming summer job in Colorado.

u/Rejusu · 1 pointr/swdestiny

I keep mine in [these four ring binders] (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00191RJWQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1522591555&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=four+ring+binder&dpPl=1&dpID=41NHKEjqgJL&ref=plSrch). They're not as bulky and unwieldy as the ones sold by ultra pro and the like specifically for card games and one is the perfect size for an entire cycle of Destiny (which is convenient as I can just put a binder away when it rotates out) so right now I have one for Awakenings/Spirit/Empire and one for Legacies. In the binders I have them organised by colour first, then faction, then set. Never attempt to organise by cost or anything like that as you'll constantly be reorganising as new cards are released.

I have dice organised in plastic boxes, one for each set.
