I don't have the LED in it right now though. But it attaches with Velcro inside and has a little remote with it.

here's the charger

Not the exact LED but similar

I bought this light a year ago and installed it in my pool after closing on my house:

P&LED (12V,35W) Color Changing Swimming Pool Lights Bulb LED PAR56 Light (switch control + remote control type) For Pentair Hayward Light Fixture, and For Inground Pool ,E27 Compatible with E26

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01JOFE6BK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_dOjPCbTAMFC6C

Some people had some negative reviews about it but overall I am pretty pleased with how it has worked for me so far and I have it on pretty much every single night. The red light isn’t that bright but I don’t care because it’s honestly not that pretty to look at. My favorite color is the cyan because it makes the water so inviting looking and is also very bright. Here’s a picture of my pool at night:

You mention Standard Lighting. I suppose you mean screw in bulbs. Maybe this style?
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31M99Q5MoeL._SY450_.jpg
If so, then just buy this and replace the bulb after everyone has left.
http://www.amazon.com/Color-Changing-Replacement-Swimming-Light/dp/B00B9F9W18

The light unscrews with one screw. Check it out before they add water. It has a long wire that lets you put the light on the deck to open it up and replace the bulb. Reseal, maybe have some light silicone for the gasket if it's dry.

If you are still unsure, ask the pool installer to show you how to replace YOUR OWN bulbs.

I put one of these in my Pentair socket

Great colors, and comes with a remote control. Easy to install. Highly recommend.

What is on the wall on the back? With the shelving unit?

Without knowing that, here’s my recommendation based off of what you’ve said.

couch minimalist with a pop of color. Converts to futon, for those days you want to watch the rain hit the window and lay down.

other couch these couches are cheap, but will get the job done. If you aren’t watching TV in here like you said, I can’t imagine needing high quality couches to nap and lounge on all day.

$300 landed (we will say).

chalkboard/corkboard for your mini office space and to get the post its off the wall.

or build your own at IKEA pegboard shelf combo.

So let’s say $335.

clearly a conversation piece to the right against the wall with the wires to hide all of them (I’m kidding this is so expensive)

but a cabinet like this may be better it will hide all of those wires, you’ll have cabinets to put work and school stuff too.

or like this I cant really tell what color your other pieces of furniture are.

Essentially though hide those wires with a buffet table. Use the buffet table as a cabinet for paperwork etc.

Then decorate the top of it with bar stuff (if you drink). That’s simple enough. Some nice glasses, bottles, decanter, etc.geometric shapes would look nice

Decorate with clear large containers on the bar area glass jars are inexpensive at Marshall’s or target

Lots you can do with it. Ask your gf what she likes. I personally get dried weird curly straw things or dried eucalyptus for mine. Put on Buffett table.

Let’s say $150 for decorations.so
$485

an end table or two other option

$585

lamp

Or thislight ball

^ i personally like it but who knows

$700

Then wall art by a local artist that you can find around the city. One that matches the color couch you pick. I’d personally do a mustard yellow or dark green. Once again, preference.

If you don’t want the end table. Get a coffee table.
glass
not glass, you can probably find cheaper elsewhere

Let’s say you don’t get the end tables but you get a coffee table. Let’s put that around $850-$900

a chair would be nice doesn’t have to be anything crazy

$1,100

Then blankets and throw pillows. local art.

And I personally believe in storage ottomans or furniture or something of the sort. Just for random shit you can toss in there when picking up.

I like your carpet. Keep that.

Goodluck.

Event lighting designer here. I purchased a few remote controlled LED balls for commercial use, ended up with them being at my home. They work especially well in late evenings, with combination that they are dimmable, the lights can get very unintrusive and relaxing especially with the right color combo. My top ones - all blue/few cyan few orange/few magenta few orange

I topped the plant after the 4th node and performed some LST. Where I live, the RH in the winter is very low. In my basement where I grow, the RH was around 20% - 25%. The leaves were curling and basically looked off. I use these in my Spacebuckets to keep an eye on temperature and humidity > https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0713XJ1NR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 .
After getting the humidity up to around 40% - 50%, my plant did well and grew very quickly. Low temperature was another problem so I hooked up a small space heater close to the SB.

I don't know very much about lights to be honest just that usually you can expect a yield (when grown right) of approx 1 gram per watt. Most led panels overrate their lights an you have to read the fine print, the one your buying puts out 96 watts of light so you can expect a yield similar to that. The good thing about lights tho is you can always add more later and keep using the ones you have so it might be good to start with. Also i bought this thermometer https://www.amazon.ca/ThermoPro-Thermometer-Temperature-Hygrometer-Batteries/dp/B0713XJ1NR/ref=mp_s_a_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1536507003&sr=8-16&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=thermometer+hygrometer which has the remote sensor. My only complaint is the sensor part has a little blinking red light I had to cover (as any small amounts of especially red light during night cycle can hurt your plants). But other than that it works fantastically. If I could find one with a much smaller sensor part (like one you could put into your curing jars to see what's going on inside) I would go with that one instead.

While I know it's obviously a lot more than $40, this is one hell of a replacement LED bulb. It's got a 50k hour lifespan, is very bright and if you have multiple of them, they can sync up on their own using the electrical without additional automation or anything. Good warranty, great customer support. The company is very reputable, and makes complete fixtures as well. They used to manufacture OEM fixtures for Jandy, actually not sure if they still do after their Savi acquisition. I'm in distribution, and we're starting to move tons of them.

The one you got looks pretty crappy, tbh. Not trying to be a dick but i can't imagine it's very bright, and looks like it would crap out pretty quickly form overheating or something like that.

EDIT: forgot the link, ha. http://www.amazon.com/Color-Splash-Pool-Light-Replacement/dp/B0033BGRK0. That one specifically is 12v, (part number LPL-P1-RGB-12) so if you need 120v change the part number to LPL-P1-RGB-120.

Something like this?

UOTOO Tap Lights, Wireless Stick on Push Lights, Battery Powered Led Click Touch Light for Closet, Cabinet, Trunk, White Light 8-Pack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06X1FVXR9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_YPKLBbRCR6HVD ?

Actually you might be able to use something like - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072JS9NP2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_QQKLBb6YA6WVF - and Velcro it to your shower curtain or stick it in a clear bag and hang it from the curtain rod if you are feeling lazy. Like I normally am.

Caveat: they’re battery powered, and drain the batteries whether you use them or not.

Hidden feature: They’re just about the perfect height for the cup holders. Not as high as the little inserts, but not so thin that my coffee cup doesn’t “float” in the cup holder.

I put a volt meter on it and it is saying 12.4V but it "seems" to be 12.4 AC, not DC, which is "odd." So the 12.4V is probably correct as that light is a 12V light.

Good question, I haven't had a chance to get in there but it's the smaller version of this from looking at the picture: Hayward LSCUN11100 Universal ColorLogic LED Spa Light, 12-Volt, 100-Foot Cord. Its going to be a few days before I can get in there to pull the light and take a look at the actual niche

I also have two of the tiny 1.5" hayward LACUS11050 color lights in the pool itself too for what it's worth.
