Once you have these, you can get anything you want for free

I use this balaclava mask for Winter cycling. The face mask OP is wearing is super powerful, but if you don't ride in sub zero F (or -17.78°C), then you'll be good to go.

It extends toward your chest and back, so it keeps your neck warm too. I really like it.

Half Face Mask Ski Mask Wind-Proof https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07JCSD9FV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_pA.9BbB57KZ9T

I just ordered this and can't wait to be feeling free from that biting wind when outside on really cold days

u/Hades1223 · 3 pointsr/DeathStranding

I'd go that route, but using this instead half face mask

u/monarchyy · 3 pointsr/tf2

I totally agree - most people dress as a guy in a suit and ski mask, not as a spy.

Just out of curiosity I went to see if I could find an accurate balaclava on Amazon. Instead I found this.

u/Euromutt327 · 3 pointsr/furry

I don't really like an overly elastic balaclava for my heads. I try to get one made out of t-shirt material, that stretches a bit but not too much.

This is what I used for this head, and it worked really well.

u/GenericCabbage · 3 pointsr/USPS

Looks like this one.

u/Velzok · 3 pointsr/chicago

this is all my gear, I bike year round and I wear 2 of these on exceptionally cold days and a skull cap

the skull cap under any winter hat will keep your head warm if you dress appropriately you will never ever ever be cold because you're always moving.. the hard part is keeping the clothes breathable sometimes I get to work on days where its -20 and I'm sweating like a pig.

Winter is the best time of year to bike in the city, no divvys, no pedestrians, and no one fucks with you.

u/BMXTKD · 2 pointsr/TwinCities

You will die in those jackets. Literally.

Here's my winter setup.....

  1. Jeep cap. Keeps the sun out of your eyes and it keeps you warm. You can get them at Ragstock for 5$
  2. A pair of good winter gloves, and a pair of those cheap stretchy winter gloves. Wear the stretchy winter gloves underneath the thick winter gloves. A good tip on whether a pair of gloves are going to be warm, is if you hold a McDonald's cup of ice water tightly against them. If you can feel the cold cup, then they're no good. If you can't, then stay with them.
  3. Your legs will get cold too, so buy a pair of base layer pants. Maybe double up. Wear them underneath your regular pants.
  4. Get a good pair of snowpants to go over your regular pants. Again, McDonald's cup of ice water trick.
  5. Get a base layer shirt to go underneath your regular shirt.
  6. Get a good, thick jacket. Do the ice water thing for the jacket too. My personal favorite kind of jacket is an ice fishing jacket.
  7. Ski goggles. Sounds weird, but your eyes will get cold too.
  8. [A neoprene mask] (https://www.amazon.com/ZANheadgear-WNFM114H-Black-Neoprene-Half/dp/B000LVZVNE/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=neoprene+mask&qid=1573108443&sr=8-1) . They keep your face warm.
  9. 2 good pairs of wool socks. Yes, 2. It gets that cold.
  10. A thick pair of high top skateboard shoes, if you're going to avoid getting winter boots. High top Osiris shoes are good alternatives to winter boots. But you're going to have to get them waterproofed. They're naturally thick.
  11. Ice cleats.

You might want to look for a balaclava or tight fitting neck gaiter, then draw the yellow parts on with something like yellow puffy paint, and cut the discs from foam or find some similar shaped buttons that can be sewed on.

Get a scarf or something to cover your throat and mouth. I live in Wisconsin and it gets cool here early, and anything below 50 degrees makes my throat burn when I run. I ordered something a lot like this and it helps the air not be so cold on the way in. Helps a ton.

u/maddman627 · 2 pointsr/Coachella

As far as bandannas/ masks, I really like these because you don't need to tie/ re-tighten them around your face and they have little slits for breathing easier: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XK1K7Q9/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

u/Crabbity · 2 pointsr/MechanicAdvice

Full face - https://www.amazon.com/ZANheadgear-Neoprene-Full-Face-Black/dp/B000LW1TRU

half mask - https://www.amazon.com/ZANheadgear-Black-Neoprene-Half-Face/dp/B000LVZVNE

they let your breath escape, and you can wear a dust mask over them if needed.

$1.47 - Raider Snowmobile Balaclava Face Mask - also great for robberies

u/mikego · 2 pointsr/motorcycles

I got this skull print half mask last week to wear under my full face helmet to deal with the cold wind lately. So far I love it.

I used to run a neoprene mask (nowadays running mesh mask): http://www.amazon.com/ZANheadgear-Neoprene-Face-Mask-Black/dp/B000LW1TRU

They're quite uncomfortable but this allows you to rest your cheek on your gun's stock and aim down through the sights.

u/Mostly-Harmless- · 1 pointr/C25K

Here is the one I have: http://www.amazon.com/ZANheadgear-Neoprene-Skull-White-Black/dp/B0012TRLWS/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1449704124&sr=8-4&keywords=neoprene+skull+mask

My son bought it for airsoft battles, but gave it to me for winter running. I don't mind the paint job on it either...turns heads :) They do have many different kinds, just search neoprene mask on amazon.

Wool outer socks

Thermal underwear

Liner socks

Face mask

Edit: hat gloves and jacket are your picks, though I'd recommend fingerless gloves, or cut a pair of old gloves.

Sorry about the link, here's the Balaclava I've got mouth nose and eye protection figured out, but I want to protect my ears and forehead along with those. I don't want to buy a full mask because that's going to interfere with aiming, as well as mobility. Hope this stuff will suffice

u/noribun · 1 pointr/Asthma

I have this, and I really like it. I haven't noticed any air blockage, and it has to be 30 F or colder to start fogging up my glasses at all.

u/whiskeydreamkathleen · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

These are so much fun.

  1. Something that makes you sweaty.
  2. Something that helps you cool down.
  3. No picnic would be complete without these sunglasses to keep the sun out of your eyes and keep you looking awesome.
  4. If you could vacation anywhere in the world... Disneyland!! This isn't technically a souvenir since they sell method soap everywhere, but it's still Minnie ears. :)
  5. Something that makes you nostalgic.
  6. Something that would make camping better. The one and only time I went camping, I saw a bear, a frog stalked me, and I tripped and cut my arm and we didn't have any band aids. So these would make it better because I'm clumsy and would probably trip again and these are so much cooler than plain band aids.

  7. Something bear related. because sasquatch kind of looks like a bear.

  8. Road trip song! I love listening to pretty much any song by them and singing obnoxiously when I'm driving, but this one is my favorite at the moment. *not on my WL

  9. Shouldn't have thrown this in your carry-on.

  10. Favorite thing at the state fair.

Bonus - July? *not on my WL

Some of the best memories are made in flip flops.
u/RRjr · 1 pointr/ebikes

This keeps your ears warm and reduces wind noise extremely well. It also blocks wind from drying out your mouth and throat which I found to be incredibly annoying and flu inducing on a fast bike. It's also a scarf and keeps your face warm whenever temps drop below 5C.
