I was looking at a bike from these guys a while back! It was only $2,500... I blew up some of the photos of it, and couldn't find a license plate mount, turn signals (not even the LED brake bar), or mirror mounts.

I know a lot of folks remove mirrors when they take photos, but there were NO mounts. The grips were rubber slip ons (no bar ends!), and the stock points were gone.

If you look at a lot of the photos on their site, the seats are clearly unmounted: This shot shows two raw, unfinished cuts into the frame on the back with no cross-bracing after the removal of the critical structural member. They're not even painted ends! The seat is clearly this cheap chinese POS from Amazon which doesn't have any real mounting brackets in this kind of configuration. In that photo, the rear drum brake lever is resting on the swing arm (go over a bump and lock your rear wheel). You can see the "rat nest" op mentions, under the seat; Coiled fuel lines? Incorrectly routed clutch cables over the valve cover? Plenty of shady weirdness.

*edit: My grammar might be ok... but my tenses are shit.

I found this. Description says it fits the standard model 2014 Bolt. From some of the questions found in here on the R-Spec model, it seems the installation is the same, but the stitching on the seat is different to match what certain model you have. So if you have the standard Bolt, you should get the standard rear seat kit.

I got it a couple years ago and it's NLA

I don't really love the velvet top/cover, but the rest great. The bottom has the non-slip rubber stuff you use to line drawers. The new versions appear to be topped with a breathable mesh, which would be a definite improvement.

Not any directly. I kept mine stock since I didn't want to deal with a thicker or wider seat which is usually the trade off on a seat for long runs (I'm shortish and the reach is just right lol). That and I just don't make a lot of long rides.

Having said that the company that I hear everyone mention for seats is Mustang.

I have the Powerparts "ergo" seat for my '15 RC390 - it's absolutely worth it and has a great look to it.

If you haven't purchased it yet, u/Tigerandachicken, I'd recommend it. It's obviously not going to rip like a 600 supersport, but it's a blast to ride and I've enjoyed mine. Feels light and nimble in the turns and I haven't had a problem putting several hours on it during weekend rides. I'll add that I have a Kreiga US-20 tail bag that I strap to the tail / passenger seat. Can fit a bunch of stuff in it, can put stuff under the bag before tightening it, have carried a ton of stuff before on overnight trips. When I'm not using the bag, there's only the four loops coming out from under the passenger seat.

If you have any concern of the head gasket / overheating issues - see if you have any of the factory warranty left. You may want to consider that at some point you'll want to replace the radiator fan with this. It's supposed to be quieter and more efficient than the OEM one. There's write-ups on the forums if you Google it. Mine runs hot from time to time, if I'm stuck in traffic on a hot day maybe, but I haven't experienced any issues resulting from it.

I don't really know how shipping to you works, but you could have a seat that doesn't cook your balls, and has padding, a headlight, and controls for under a Benjamin.

Oh, and hook up your damn front brake.

If you post tire size, I could probably send you links to something that could deal with sand Too.

You could have the poor backwoods version of the Marines KLR.

I bought the sargent one and it is great. It bolts right where the old one does and it will work with most aftermarket tanks also(I believe) Before I changed it I rode ~6 hours one day (off and on riding) and I had intense discomfort. I rode it with the sargent ~9 hours straight and only had mild discomfort in my butt.

I assume you sold to OP, but I have a question for ya'. Do you happen to have any pictures/more details about this seat? Every time I try to search for one, there's so many different looking pictures, that I'm hesitant to buy, in fear of getting the wrong one...

This is what I see most frequently. Is this what y'all used?

Ducati sells a "comfort seat." I'm sure it's very comfy.

But really, just improve your core strength and man up. All day rides aren't a problem since you need to stop for gas every 80-100 miles anyway.

This is the seat I used. The only thing you need to do for install is get a longer bolt for tank and seat
