Ottosteer imo is the best out there and it looks great because it looks factory wihtout sticking far out. anyway. for those who is worrying about felt scratching a car (I sure hope you stop driving every time the wind is over 10 mph... ), get something like this https://www.amazon.com/VViViD-Clear-Protection-Choose-Including/dp/B01LWPKZCF/ (changed link to one that has multiple length to chose) and cut a piece for the license plate area. cut some for the trunk lip, for the HOV sticker if in CA and whatever....

It is a car ppl, take reasonable care but my god, Model 3 is not garage queen material.

I got it from amazon, this one was the exact amount for the two rails.

I used the 3m kit. Works really well, it's fairly involved but is the correct way to do it. You also will have to put some sealant or cover on it to prevent it happening again. I got the xpel kit. Ammonyc has a good guide.

3M car wrap shit. It's cheap and works. You just need to get something to keep traction.

Here on Amazon is where I got mine. Works good. Cheap af for a ton of that stuff.

Get some of this and an exacto knife to cut it at the edges of the console.

I've used the carbon fiber stuff on my old PS4, was easy to remove, didn't leave a residue. (I also didn't do the part involving water and baby shampoo, so don't worry about that step)

Yeah, that's the stuff. There may be a newer/better product out there. I see that is discontinued. I'm sorry, it's been a few years since I used it. This is the armorall one, which is available on Amazon.

I use some car door sill protector cut to size, something like this. If you are in Scandinavia you can get it from Biltema, else try you local car accessory supplier.

Found this, might work: 槌屋ヤック フィルム 真っ黒フィルム 200x6M DF-406 https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B0052C24JQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_eF6pxbAWHNRHV

Yeah, apply the 3M film to the car along the painted surface where the feet touch the paint and where the hooks clip into the door jam. This way the roof rack components don't actually touch the paint.

This is the film, they make different width rolls so measure the area on your car before you buy it. Or, you could go to a vinyl shop/car detailer and have them install some.

I have this on the bottom of one of my cameras. Can't say what would happen once you remove it though.

Your Amazon review for this product is listed under a different looking version from the one you have in your imgur album. This is what is offered in that page: https://www.amazon.com/Trimbrite-T9021-Body-Guard-Black/dp/B00029XD7G/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1482990812&sr=8-2&keywords=black+textured+body+guard

is this the same product you used? labels look different...
