They sell needle guards to help lower the risk of little fingers getting caught. I've used them with college students before to help with needle fear.

you should be able to use any low shank kit, you can buy lots on amazon for cheap! something like this should be good https://www.amazon.com/Universal-Sewing-Machine-Presser-Walking/dp/B01N2P3ILT/ref=sr_1_13?keywords=presser+foot+kit&qid=1565032783&s=gateway&sr=8-13

Thanks. I knew those clamps were used for a non-kinky purpose, but didn't know what it was. In fact, every type of nipple clamp I've ever seen was originally used for non-kinky purposes. Such as:

Clover Clamp - Used for sewing.

Tweezer Clamp - Used to pull draw strings and elastic through hems.

Screw Compressor Clamp - Used to pinch tubing in lab equipment to control fluid flow.

All of the above clamps have been re-purposed by kinky people for kinky activities.

I think the belts are just plain leather strips that you cut to the correct size, I've come across these while searching for regular belts on amazon. If you try and get it going be sure to oil it, all the oil will have evaporated over the years.

I was actually just looking for a roller foot because I was having issues with pleather. Amazon led me the rest of the way!

I was wrong, it's part of the "needle plate". You replace the whole plate (amazon link) but I'm not sure on just that piece of it.

You’ll be good to go with either- I’ve done clothes, hundreds of bags, alterations and quilts on mine.

The three things I’d suggest after purchase?
a walking foot
bobbins-a-plenty (although they are machine specific)
and a set of feet- you’ll never need them all, but it’s nice to have one when you need it!

I'm considering buying a used pfaff 4872 serger. The owner claims dosn't work do to a bad pedal. If the pedal is a just a switch + potentiometer type I can check it with a multimeter, but I don't know what kind of circuitry is inside. This is a replacement pedal for referance. Amazon link.

Anybody know what the guts of these pedals look like electrically?

Sewing machine bobbin winder wheel https://www.amazon.com/SINGER-B-W-W-R-NEW-BOBBIN-WINDER-RUBBER/dp/B077BP37BG

Maybe the other thing is to help you replace it?

Oh! You're welcome! \^___\^

I was just happened to be looking at Amazon's Singer quilting needles. I was using a Universal needle and it probably wasn't the right sewing needle. Anyways, I stumbled across this. SingerSpray & Shine . Did you ever use this to clean your sewing machine? I just use a damp J-Cloth to do a quick wipe to remove some of the dust around the machine and the large surfaces of the machine (is that bad)? Then I use a Q-tip around the needle area to remove the fuzzies and underneath the plate and bobbin area.

You can use feet from other machines or buy new sets from Amazon, ebay, or sewing machine dealers. It will probably be easiest for you to buy a low shank foot adapter, since many feet are snap-on now.

Knits sew well with metal feet, that's standard. Are there any nicks or rough spots on the feet that are snagging the fabric? Try filing those down with a nail file.

I'm so sorry! I love my juki. I wonder if this might help? Juki Reverse Pedal Stopper for TL, HZL-F and DX Series Machines https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B06ZZNGRYW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_7fhBDbWWDM45M

It is a bias tape attachment.

Edit: Sorry - the red bit is called bias tape. The silver thing is an attachment to your sewing machine that helps make fold it properly and hold it in place for sewing.
