The bodice on both dresses are beautiful! The skirt on the dress on the right is more flattering, but I think it would not take much to level up your Etsy dress!
If you add a solid belt and a petticoat or a tulle overskirt to your Etsy dress it would make a world of difference! I was feeling a little blah about my wedding dress a few weeks before the wedding, so I made a petticoat. I am so glad I did! It made it just a little more fun and flirty! And I did not have to spend much more money!

If you have basic sewing skills, elastic waist skirts are very easy to make, and you can layer them over leggings or loose pants. Cotton still traps enough heat to be comfortable in my climate, but wool is better and works more like the fleece blanket.
